04/10/2025: Was turned away at the door shortly after restaurant had opened for dinner. No reason was given (would haved welcomed a reason or to be told why - but, rather, was just told "no"). The place was maybe 1/4 full. Edit: What I said was true. I was not told I needed a reservation and thats why we were turned away. The restaurant was no more than 25% filled. Completely understandable if you were expecting people to come later and they had just not showed up but the point here was just being told "no" nothing more, nothing less

21/09/2025: We celebrated our wedding at Villa Bacchus and couldn't be happier with our choice. From our first meeting, the staff proved professional, helpful, and attentive to every detail. The location is simply enchanting: the immaculately maintained garden created a magical atmosphere for the ceremony. The banquet was impeccable: refined dishes, fresh ingredients, and excellent service. Our guests gave us countless compliments, both on the quality of the food and the overall organization. 12/09/2025: The best ricotta canolo on the island... The last time I was there, it was at Tona. I went there every day for my canolo because it was so good and the service was excellent. I was sad that that man was no longer there... But the quality is the same, or even better, if possible. All good. The best of Scicli and the island. You can't pass up the opportunity to try anything they make here. Incredible.

09/09/2025: I went for breakfast on Sunday morning. The macadamia nuts were very good, and the ricotta cannoli was also good, but in Scicli I've found them even better at other bakeries. I bought some almond pastries to take up north, and I didn't really like them.

09/10/2025: Excellent traditional cooking in a stylish setting. Good service. The menu was relatively affordable - not cheap but this is semi-fine-dining and the quality is great. The carob dessert killed me, absolutely delicious.

07/10/2025: A truly beautiful, unique, and special place. Service was barely adequate; it took at least 15 minutes to get a bottle of water. The dishes were tasty, but the quantity was truly inadequate. The staff was courteous, but seemed overwhelmed; perhaps not enough for the customers?

06/10/2025: It was the worst experience during our 2 week's long stay in Marina do Ragusa. The waiting time and time of being ignored was way toooo loooong. The highlight was the bear served by the sweetest bartender from Sodo (apparently the same owner). And after that the waiting started to be annoying. The appetizer from the restaurant was visually interesting but nothing special about the taste. The appetizer we have ordered rather tasteless. My husband pasta was soo hard that it was unpleasant to chew. My medium well steak was rather on the rare side as it left blood on the plate. However the female waiters were absolutely fantastic and helpful.

01/10/2025: A welcoming place with well-trained staff who are knowledgeable about the offerings. It's well-maintained and well-maintained, but space is limited when the tables are full—and they often are. Innovative cuisine with a focus on green food; the fish cured meats are sublime, and the variety of bottarga made by the chef is equally impressive. Their selection of vegetables, sourced from hydroponic crops grown by a local company, complements the dishes.

11/10/2025: The food was delicious and the service was really friendly, with English speaking staff, allowing for conversation on various topics. The products were fresh and tasty. The only thing I didn't like was the seafood plating. The mussels had white growths that should have been scraped off, and the shrimp had uncut shells and black intestines inside. I think that anyone aspiring to be a good restaurant should pay attention to these elements. The wine was very good.

10/10/2025: Great experience! The food was delicious and the service friendly and attentive. We thought at first that it might be a bit touristy, but the locals go here too and that's understandable!

04/10/2025: We wait for a waiter to consider us for a table. I say hello and they pretend not to see us. I tried to stop the head waiter several times to ask for a table, but he avoided me, annoyed by the overwork. It was confusing, yes, but that's not how it's done. Pure rudeness.

04/10/2025: Delicious and easy to digest pizza at a fair price. The crust, although very rich, is not heavy at all (with a nice fig liqueur it goes down like a charm).

10/09/2025: This is a take-out place where they prepare typical Sicilian "scaccia" (Sicilian name for "focaccia") and similar. They also sell pure local honey.

28/07/2025: I booked the basement room and was told yes. Upon our arrival, however, the waitress rudely told us the room was closed. Unfortunately, the main room is more like a company cafeteria than a proper restaurant. Due to the mediocre quality of the food and the high level of competition, I found them a bit finicky, but that's just my experience.

10/08/2025: ...Iris non è una dei gestori ma uno degli ottimi dolci che si possono gustare in questo bel locale con veranda sulla piazzetta che declina sulla spiaggia di Marina di Modica... Ottima colazione gustata sulla bella la veranda esterna.

19/09/2025: I went there with my partner; we had 2 arancini, 1 Romana, and 1 slice of savory pie. 1 water and 1 can of Coke. The rustici were edible, not exceptional (the rice was like mush, too overcooked). The service was average, but the price of everything was excessive. 18 euros. A can 3 euros? A rustico 3.20? Too exaggerated.
