23/11/2025: Definitely worth returning! A Sunday lunch with a group of friends. There were about ten of us, and they put us in a room all to ourselves. The food was delicious, from the fried pae to the roulades, the warm ricotta, focaccia, and roasted meat. The meatballs melted in your mouth, the caponata. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and above all, served by a wonderful woman. Helpful, extremely polite, prompt, and incredibly strong, even though she was petite (she always opened and closed the heavy sliding glass door with one hand, while the men used two ;)) Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!!

26/10/2025: EXCELLENT value for money. I'm updating my review because management has changed and we've returned to try it. The restaurant now serves exclusively Chinese food (not Japanese), and has undergone a very interesting makeover. The decor is in a very pop and colorful Chinese style; I found it truly charming and unique, definitely unique in the province. The menu focuses on classic Chinese dishes, the food is truly delicious, and the portions are generous (it's impossible to finish a single entree). The dumplings are all worth trying. The wakami seaweed is the best in town, a must-try. The duck is also excellent. We really appreciated this radical change, and it makes sense given that there are already too many Japanese restaurants in Ragusa. A proper Chinese restaurant was missing, and this one holds its own, both in terms of food quality, service, and atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

18/10/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at Xiaopangcai and had a great time. I'd gladly travel 90km to enjoy their dishes and be pampered by their fantastic service.

29/11/2025: I was in the area and decided to stop for a snack. I was immediately drawn to some babà, so I decided to try it! Delicious, and not at all dry, finally a babà that tastes like rum 😍! Of course, I got some sweets to take away, and those were delicious too! Next time, I want to try their fortified aperitifs, they also caught my attention 😅😍

12/10/2025: Very beautiful and quaint location. Very welcoming and helpful staff. The servings were well spaced. I chose the menu with appetizers, two main courses, a glass of wine, and dessert. Everything was very good, and the portions were well-balanced. Excellent value for money. I'll gladly return.

23/11/2025: The staff is friendly, welcoming but not intrusive. The dishes are very tasty, inspired by tradition but interpreted in a unique way by the chef. The atmosphere is familiar, warm, and makes you feel at ease. I would improve the music slightly, but otherwise we found it perfect.

06/12/2025: We came here on the last night of our trip and it was delicious. Not the best pasta I had in Castellammare, but it was flavourful and huge portions with lots of seafood. The addition of curry in the ravioli sauce was unusual but it worked. The staff are very friendly - we ordered a carafe of wine and only had the thick stemmed water glasses. They were quick to bring us proper white wine glasses and were welcoming of our attempts at Italian! The outside area is on a slant which isn’t the most comfortable but that’s not the restaurant’s fault. I would come here again!

08/11/2025: In September, we dined at "La.maidda" a few evenings and had a wonderful time. The first and second courses were incredibly fresh fish. The tuna and pistachio steak was fantastic. The house wine was excellent. The price was reasonable for the dishes. Recommended!

08/12/2025: Let's start with the mise en place: plastic runner, wooden cutlery rest and not even a plate to put the bread on... in their opinion we should have placed it on the table or on the plastic runner??!! 🤮 We order panelle to wait: they arrive full of oil on a ceramic plate without straw paper to absorb it: inedible. The appetizers were passable even if the octopus was drowned in a sea of ​​tomato... the worst were the main courses: dry amberjack... rubbery and tasteless octopus and the pork my husband got full of fat and sweetish... when he let me taste it I understood why he had stopped eating!!! It has never happened that in a restaurant we didn't finish the courses like we did here... lots of smoke and no roast... in my opinion just appearance! Experience NOT to be repeated

20/11/2025: A unique location, quality food with original recipes and excellent ingredients. Punctual and professional service, with a touch of warmth that's always welcome. Few places (thank goodness!) to enjoy the excellent dishes in peace. Prices are appropriate for the restaurant's level.

10/09/2025: This is a take-out place where they prepare typical Sicilian "scaccia" (Sicilian name for "focaccia") and similar. They also sell pure local honey.

10/11/2025: We had a wonderful time on a warm November Sunday, sitting on the veranda... we were immediately greeted with a truly refined appetizer and entrée, both balanced and delicious. We enjoyed an excellent prosecco recommended by the very attentive and friendly staff, and then continued with superior pasta and main courses. Definitely an experience we'll happily repeat!

09/11/2025: Having lunch in mid-September, when kitchens are practically closed, is definitely a plus. Gioele, the waiter, went above and beyond our expectations to accommodate us. We had a wonderful time.

31/10/2025: A lovely restaurant in the center of Scicli. We stopped by chance for dinner. We had a plate of delicious panelle, a platter of cured meats, a first course of torchietti with potatoes, provola, and mussels, and another first course of zucchini scapece and datterini tomatoes. Everything was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the prices were reasonable.
