24/07/2026: We made a reservation for a Thursday evening at 9:00 PM. The waiter was very kind, and the service was prompt. The pizzas arrived within 20 minutes (note that we were the only customers, apart from one other table). The pizzas were satisfying, and excellent value.

18/07/2026: There's a lot to say, but I'll just say that the girl who took the reservation was very unprepared. When she asked for something from the menu, she didn't know what was on the dish. She told us that since it was Saturday night, they weren't serving part of the menu, including sandwiches and some appetizers, leaving only pizza and fries. The waitress called the "owner" to help explain what we were asking for, and he started shouting from afar that they only made pizza. When I asked if there was anything else available since I couldn't eat it, the only option was a chicken breast, which was a bit annoying. I'll just say that there are different ways to behave, and customer service certainly left something to be desired this evening. Perhaps the heat these days is also making things more heated.

01/05/2026: The best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had and I’ve tried a lot. Also very safe - owner has a daughter with a celiac disease. Oh and classic pizza was just as tasty! Very much recommend 🌞

01/05/2026: It can all be explained in one word... EXCEPTIONAL We ate some delicious pizzas made with quality ingredients, but I'd like to highlight the gluten-free pizza, made with homemade dough. It's the best I've ever eaten... highly recommended. I'll be back.

07/07/2026: My wife and I arrived late into Ragusa to our apartment and needed a place close as we were pretty tired. Saw a sign for a new authentic Sicilian restaurant near the new post office and looked at the menu. I really liked all the fish dishes that were available and they had a menu that changed daily. The food was wonderful. Their caponatta was really good along with the rest of the food. Unfortunately it wasn't too busy on a Sunday night. I am hoping they will increase their business due to the fantastic food. Very helpful staff with the menu and suggestions. Will visit again while we are here.

05/07/2026: A very clean and well-maintained restaurant. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. The food is prepared to perfection and very tasty. It’s a place worth visiting for a meal.

07/07/2026: We dined on the terrace with a spectacular sea view. The fish was fresh and beautifully cooked. Pasta with lobster, tagliatelle with shrimp and caramelized figs (an unusual combination but truly delicious). For our main course, we ordered two enormous pieces of Pago fish. Grilled vegetables and eggplant caponata. Everything was very well cooked and generous portions. Water and wine were included. We spent €140 for two, but it's a fair price for the quality and quantity we were served. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Great customer service. Well done.

03/07/2026: Nestled on a street with steps, the lighting creates a charming atmosphere with many tiny lights that resemble an illuminated roof. Friendly staff. The highlight is the food, cooked according to tradition. The rabbit Nicastro style is delicious. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

11/07/2026: We fell in love with this place right from the photos, but it's even more beautiful in person! The view, both day and night, is breathtakingly beautiful. You can feel the tranquility typical of the countryside, and the structure is reminiscent of the farmhouses of the Hyblaean area. We dined outside for my son's first birthday and baptism. It was a wonderful location, with attention to detail. Mrs. Tumino and Astrid are kind people who made the most of the place and accommodated our every need. Our guests were delighted with this enchanting place.

28/05/2026: I was there with a group of friends, only to eat, I wouldn't know about lodgings. Old building(s), like a fortified farm/manor, with a large interior courtyard and verdant generous surroundings. Kind of difficult to get there (which is maybe better), we stayed about 10 km away, so no big effort for us. Quiet, almost eerie atmosphere, very relaxing, maybe we spoiled some of it laughing loudly, because it felt so good. True (I like to think) sicillian country experience. Nobody among us complained about the food (which is a very rare situation !). It was very good , ok maybe a confusion between a medium-rare fiorentino and a medium entrecote. It didn't matter. Best table red wine in ages. Grazie, Locanda Angelica!

09/05/2026: Trattoria al Borgo is located in Monterosso Almo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. It is located in the historic part of the village. You can enjoy typical local dishes such as ricotta-filled ravioli, excellent local meat dishes, delicious scaccioni (a type of pasta) in various flavors, and, to finish, a delicious ricotta-filled cannoli from the Iblean farms. The excellent tagliatelle with mushrooms are a must-try. Free parking is available near the trattoria.
