15/05/2025: Excellent products, from bread to biscuits, focaccia...

04/05/2025: My rating is halfway between 5 stars for the scaccia (very good, it felt like eating a take-away lasagna) and 1 star for the pizza, too thick, it felt like eating seasoned bread. I spent 2.50 and 4.50 and I think what cost the most was that heavy pizza which seems like a bit of a half to me! Excellent service but the tinfoil, in addition to not being eco-sustainable, is hardly noticeable

27/04/2025: Avevo sentito parlare da amici di questo locale e nel mio immaginario pensavo a una trattoria ubicata in un edificio storico di una località agricola. Mi sbagliavo in quanto il ristorante è costituito da una grande sala e da una più piccola che funge da ingresso. Purtroppo in un ambiente così concepito, quando il locale è pieno (e pare ciò sia ricorrente) vi sono problemi di insonorizzazione. Per il resto il locale ha soddisfatto le aspettative: - ottima qualità del cibo e buona cucina; - servizio soddisfacente sebbene il locale fosse pieno e in un giorno festivo (25 aprile); - molta attenzione alle esigenze dei clienti (cibo senza glutine e senza formaggio); - ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Sicuramente ci tornerò e, possibilmente, concorderò i piatti tipici di stagione.

02/06/2025: Discovered this place by chance while we were on our way to Catania. We stopped and they immediately sat us down, welcoming us with a smile. Fast and efficient service, friendly and kind staff, wide choice on the menu and all the dishes with local and quality ingredients. We will be back!

31/05/2025: This one was a bit hit and miss for us. Some dishes were great, others we weren’t so keen on. The waiting staff were lovey, friendly and attentive. What spoilt it for us was the atmosphere. The entrance to the restaurant has nothing more than the name over the door, and there is nothing inside other than a spiral stair case going upwards, but nothing inviting or telling you you are going in the right direction. Once you get to the top still nothing of notice other than glass door, where we were met by the friendly staff once we walked through, but nothing inviting a very welcoming entrance. The atmosphere was completely lacking, not helped by the fact that it is a large room in pleasant surroundings, but being a Sunday evening there was only us and two other couples which made for a very quiet environment. Don’t think my wine choice this evening helped either. This one missed for us which was a shame.

15/05/2025: Esperienza fantastica! Un viaggio alla scoperta di sapori e interpretazioni di piatti locali e non. Tutto veramente molto buono! Il menù segue le stagioni e i prodotti tipici. La chef Francesca é veramente impressionante. Complimenti anche a Carla e Paolo che in sala ti fanno sentire a tuo agio e sono attenti ai minimi dettagli.

18/06/2025: I have been a guest at Shoreline Restaurant for more than a month, and I must say that the quality, imagination and difference of the dishes offered was excellent, beautiful, good and abundant portions, friendliness and cordiality of all the staff, made each meal a unique and cordial moment. Recommended restaurant, to try absolutely.

25/04/2025: Excellent freshly cooked meat in a suggestive place overlooking the main square of Scicli. Welcoming owners let us taste a mix of the delicacies that the house offers including arancini, homemade bread and fresh chard from the garden. Absolutely recommended for a quick stop in the center of Scicli

13/06/2025: We were recently invited to a wedding held at Villa Bacchus and the experience was nothing short of enchanting. From the moment we arrived, the villa presented itself in all its magnificence, offering an atmosphere of elegance and refinement that immediately won us over. The outdoor spaces are immaculate and ideal for such a special event. The lush and well-kept gardens provided the perfect backdrop for the aperitif and for taking memorable photographs. The transition between the different areas of the villa was fluid and organized, allowing guests to fully enjoy every phase of the reception. The service was impeccable. The waiting staff proved to be attentive, professional and discreet, always ready to satisfy every request with a smile.

04/06/2025: A truly enchanting place, immersed in a typically Sicilian atmosphere that conquers from the first moment. The context is relaxing and well-kept, ideal for a regenerating break or a simple dinner. The staff is very kind, attentive and quick in their service, always with a smile. The food? Simply excellent: authentic, well presented and full of flavors as you would expect in Sicily. The busiate alle sarde are highly recommended! An experience definitely worth repeating.

25/05/2025: Run away! A charming restaurant for a disastrous dining experience. Don't get the pizza. I'm attaching a photo of mine, which was very bad. Frozen peas, plasticky sausage and ham, industrial tomato sauce, and dried mushrooms. A disaster! And that's not to mention the completely uncomfortable seats. In short, avoid it.

31/05/2025: New and well-kept place, exquisite sandwiches, as well as appetizers, excellent selection of draft beers, kind and precise service.

12/05/2025: I put one star because I couldn't put zero. To start with, the head of the room was grumpy and did not want to work. We waited for more than two hours for a table that was never given to us. When a table became free they gave it to other people, we continued to wait patiently for our table and after we saw that there were three empty tables we asked if we could sit, but the girl did everything she could to not let us sit, creating non-existent problems. A piece of advice if you don't feel like working, sometimes it's better to stay at home and not ruin the evening for others.
