30/03/2025: We had dinner two consecutive days in this beautiful restaurant in the center of Scicli. The environment is truly relaxing, the staff attentive and very friendly, the food delicious. The starters in particular deserve praise because we tried several of them and really liked them all! The grilled octopus is very good. Perhaps the first courses deserve slightly less, but they are still pleasant and overall light despite the generous portion. Excellent desserts. We will definitely be back!

21/02/2025: For lovers of Porsches and cars in general... the owner is passionate and very kind. "The bissa is good, better than the bizzeria great biramids of Egypt". Nothing to say, when passing through or from casuzze, stopping is a must. Bon appetit everyone.

18/12/2024: We had in total 7 pizzas in Disco pizza during our holiday and all were really tasty. It is more like take away than restaurant you would sit in for a dinner, however the quality of food is very good.

10/02/2025: Very nice and clean environment, which makes the stay truly pleasant. A note of merit certainly goes to their donut: soft, tasty and prepared with quality ingredients. The staff is always smiling and available, ready to satisfy every request. An added value that makes customers feel welcome. Overall, this bar definitely deserves 4 stars. An ideal place for a coffee break, a delicious breakfast or a simple moment of relaxation.

16/02/2025: Sono di Roma e ho una casa a Modica alta, per fortuna vicino alla Pasticceria Fede. Vi assicuro che scendere la bellissima scalinata della chiesa di San Giovanni e entrare da Fede... beh, vi fa iniziare bene la giornata! La scelta dei lievitati è ampia e tutti buonissimi. Io d'inverno prendo cioccolata calda con panna e cornetto alla ricotta, esco con il sorriso e giro per Modica con energia positiva. Tanti sono i dolci da provare, tra i vari il Tartufo di farina di carruba sua specialità, i Macalle e tutto ciò che ha crema di pistacchio o mandorle per gustare la Sicilia nel suo cuore. Ieri ho portato a Roma i cannoli di ricotta, in una bella scatola con crema in sac a poche e i cannoli separati, squisiti anche il giorno dopo. Fede e il suo staff molto gentili e disponibili, locale ben arredato. Insomma, pasticceria da non perdere!

16/03/2025: The Baqqalà Restaurant, located in the heart of Scicli, is known for its suggestive position in Piazzetta Ficili and for its welcoming atmosphere.  However, my experience was disappointing. The first courses were decent, but the cod, the restaurant's signature dish, was practically non-existent, wrapped in a hard vegetable leaf on a bed of cold chickpeas. Considering the high prices, I expected higher quality. Unfortunately, I had the impression that the place is more oriented towards tourists, offering an experience that does not reflect authentic Sicilian cuisine.

11/03/2025: One of these unexpected but wonderful experiences. From the moment we arrived there was a lovely atmosphere of familiarity. The waiter, Corrado, greeted us with the biggest smile, and gave us the table I had had my eye on from the start even though they were fully booked. He made us aware of the specials of the evening, from which we ordered 2 dishes. The tuna tartare and calamari and gamberi fritti. Both AMAZING. Fresh produce and perfectly prepared. We shared the swordfish nuggets on cheese fondue for our main which, once again was wonderfully balanced and so tasty ! A little ricotta cheesecake and coffee to finish with a glass of dessert wine. We got recommended a beautiful bottle of wine to accompany the meal. They are very knowledgeable, very kind and very attentive ! If you are looking for a beautiful place with good food and good wine to spend your evening. This is the place to go ! Thank you to Corrado and team for making our evening perfect ! 😍
