10/06/2025: I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gattopardo Hotel in Brolo, Messina, for a five-day holiday with my partner, Grace. From start to finish, our experience was absolutely wonderful. The hotel boasts a charming and welcoming atmosphere, complemented by clean, comfortable rooms with modern amenities. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and eager to assist with any needs, which made us feel truly valued throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the hotel's location, offering picturesque views and easy access to local attractions. The dining options were delicious, providing a delightful taste of regional cuisine that complemented our relaxing getaway. Overall, Gattopardo Hotel provided a perfect setting for our holiday—combining excellent service, comfort, and scenic beauty. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Brolo, Messina. Our five-day experience was truly wonderful, and we look forward to returning in the future.

02/06/2025: Very nice hotel, there is a breathtaking view that leads directly to the sea, the room was clean and tidy, the food was quite good, for the rest it was a good holiday. To return!

Pasta alle vongole da stella Michelin. Frittura spettacolare. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente considerata l alta stagione. Da consigliare a tutti i turisti qui a Vulcano

29/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo locale (La Bottega, Vulcano) e, onestamente, non ci ha lasciato nessuna impressione particolare. Un posto senza infamia e senza lode. Il cibo era discreto ma nulla che giustifichi i prezzi piuttosto pompati rispetto alle porzioni ricevute. Il coperto è davvero spropositato (7€ per due persone!), e il servizio non si è distinto né per gentilezza né per attenzione. 60€ per due grigliate di pesce che erano nella norma, 3,50€ per una bottiglia d’acqua da 75cl, e 4€ per un semplice cannolo: tutto risulta sopra le righe per ciò che viene effettivamente offerto. In zona ci sono decisamente alternative migliori, sia come qualità che come prezzi. Non lo sconsiglio in modo assoluto, ma non ci tornerei.

03/06/2025: I recently went to this Italian restaurant and, although the environment was clean, unfortunately my overall experience was disappointing, especially regarding the service. The dining room staff, made up of foreign waiters, showed evident difficulties in understanding the Italian language, making even simple communication difficult. This aspect is particularly worrying when it comes to fundamental information such as allergens or food intolerances: when I asked for clarification, no one seemed to be informed or prepared on the subject. In an era in which food safety should be a priority, I consider this a very critical point. The staff was also very rude. The cuisine overall was decent, in line with the expectations of an Italian restaurant, but not enough to compensate for such a poor service. I hope that the management invests in staff training and communication, especially to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all customers.

24/04/2025: Very unfriendly staff, expensive and coffee was the worse we ever had in sicily! To top it off, when we asked the lady at the bar for the menu she felt uncomfortable and we noticed that she removed the drinks paper from the plastic folder so we won't see the actual prices because she definitely charged us extra because we are turists

07/07/2025: Excellent choice and variety of pythons, a little complicated to find parking because it is right in the center, better to go by scooter to collect the culinary delights, then at the table they eat as if there was no tomorrow!

26/07/2025: We had a lovely dinner here during our visit to Taormina! We tried the carbonara and lasagna bolognese — both dishes were absolutely delicious, with rich flavors and perfect texture. The service was great, attentive but relaxed, and the overall atmosphere was simply wonderful. What makes this place truly special is the outdoor seating: the tables are set up on charming stone steps, creating an intimate and unique setting. To top it all off, there was live music the evening we visited, which added so much warmth and energy to the experience. Highly recommended if you’re looking for good food and a memorable dining experience in Taormina!

20/03/2025: If you want to eat Messina focaccia, this is certainly the least suitable place. Focaccia in which the only sensation was grease, but not a tasty grease, a grease devoid of any taste. Terrible service, the staff made comments as if the customer couldn't listen to them, also not very attentive.

07/08/2025: Highly recommended bar, the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. I recommend trying the brioche with granita, truly spectacular. I'd avoid the arancini; they weren't bad, but I think there's much better elsewhere.

07/08/2025: The atmosphere and food were good, but I found the prices to be out of line with Sicily. Two iced coffees and a small granita cost €9.

21/07/2025: Pizzeria in a slightly dated old house, probably in need of renovation. The terrace overlooking the Aeolian Islands is beautiful, but it's noisy because it borders the main road, with roaring motorcycles... impossible to talk. The pizza is average, perhaps a bit too large.

16/06/2025: I entered this bar with huge expectations. First of all when you enter the ice creams they didn't even write the names. I noticed the laziness of the gentleman with white hair in making the ice creams. I saw an episode of a young girl who was choosing an ice cream but he rudely quoted "Entro oggi u gelatu" with a lot of encouragement with a noise through his hands. When we asked for water the taste wasn't the best it seemed like tap water or rather from the toilet. The air conditioning at 16 didn't even work. The ice cream I chose tasted like cocoa but the flavor was Nutella. Uh another episode I experienced was that of the lady who was given a small decanted one instead of a large granita. Then he told her one less brioche and then in the end he gave her 3. How careless! This bar should change
