28/06/2024: Good place now well equipped with QRcode menu and order directly from the table via smartphone (it seems: I haven't tried it). I had a few granitas in the past and a gin and tonic last time and found everything to meet expectations.

19/08/2024: Pension in the heart of Furci Siculo, 100 meters from the beautiful seafront and spacious, well-kept beaches. Very friendly and welcoming owner and managers. I don't rate the rooms because I haven't seen them, we stayed in another property in Rina, a hamlet of Santa Teresa di Riva and the rooms are large and clean. Excellent breakfast with lots of fresh products. Advised

01/07/2024: Abbiamo cenato 2 sere in questa pizzeria/ristorante direttamente sulla spiaggia di Mongiove. Ottima la frittura di pesce, freschissima. Super la pizza, impasto favoloso, cotta nel forno a legna. Peccato che la nostra vacanza finisce domani, altrimenti saremmo tornati. Simpatico e cortese il personale del locale. Grazie dell'accoglienza.

21/06/2024: It's real street food, you have no pretensions, you eat a pizza which isn't bad and then you go away. The value for money is good. It's a shame that everything happens with tables placed on the street between the cars. The food is certainly better than many places where they charge you a cover charge and perhaps a certain semblance of service. I recommend it for fleeting meals.

19/08/2024: Saturday 08/17/2024, I make a phone call to the restaurant del sole and they tell me that they have a fixed fish menu, we arrive and the pseudo waiter tells me that they don't have a fixed menu, anyway we opt for the menu that the waiter told us ... They serve us the appetizer that is beautiful and nightmarish after I find a label inside a pseudo meatball, I call the waiter and tell him to inform the chef, he takes two forks and takes out the label and leaves , for the whole lunch he doesn't show up at the table again, you understand that an embarrassing situation has been created... So we taste the first course and ask the waiter to stop the second course because they didn't trust us anymore than they could happen, the waiter replies that the order couldn't be stopped now, they bring us the second one in a cardboard box, we kindly went to pay without saying anything... I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

11/06/2024: Location moderna.. Pesce fresco.. Camerieri cortesi, attenti al cliente, preparati ed educati. Banco del pesce con vasta scelta.. Un menu alla carta semplice ma con piatti gustosi.. Ci sono anche i fuori menu coi piatti del giorno buonissimi (sinonimo di freschezza) prodotti genuini abbondanti e di bella presentazione,sono uscita soddisfatta. Esperienza da rifare. Prezzi nella media, non ha nulla da invidiare ad altri locali della zona. Ottima cucina.

30/07/2024: Beautiful setting right on the beach, food is good, prices excellent. Attention, it is unnecessary to wave at the waiter when paying, just stand up and pay at the exit of the restaurant. You just say the table number. You can pay by card or cash.

12/08/2024: We went to Messina last year for the concert at the San Filippo stadium, we found this place near the boarding point, it's nice and large, quite crowded, self-service with a lot of variety of Sicilian cuisine products, rotisserie, fish, pasta and desserts, we opted for for light food but excellent flavor... recommended!

04/08/2024: 11.20pm, we get on the Caronte. Cost of arancini: €3.50. We asked if it had been fried to gold. The answer was that we could always not take it and that these are the prices. Which, said to 2 Sicilians from the province of Messina, makes you laugh. The most expensive one costs €2.50, but it is very expensive. Terrible, luckily there are no tourists. 24/06/2024: Ho ordinato una torta al gelato di 2.5 kg e mi è stata consegnata di un chilo in più. Ovvero 20€ in più. Sicuramente quando si ordina una torta si mette in conto che non verrà esattamente del peso richiesto ma questo eccesso di 1 kg su 2.5 kg mi sembra esagerato anche perché vi corrisponde ovviamente un prezzo maggiore e nel caso in questione lo scarto è stato di 20€ in più. Non lo trovo corretto . Se avessi voluto una torta di oltre tre chili l'avrei richiesta tale.

09/02/2024: Abito a Genova Sono siciliana ma manco da quella che è la mia terra da più di 20 anni. Ho deciso di cercare una pasticceria che facesse spedizioni dei prodotti che mi mancano da tanto tempo. Dopo attenta analisi di varie pasticcerie di Messina, la scelta è caduta su Pasticceria Frisenda Mai scelta fu più azzeccata. Spedizione immediata e accuratissima, i prodotti freschi sono arrivati senza alcun tipo di variazione di gusto. Mi sono sentita nuovamente a casa coi gusti della Sicilia. Esperienza da ripetere anche per fare conoscere agli amici le paste di mandorla, la pignolata e gli arancini veramente siculi. Emozione unica tornare a mangiare quelli che per me erano "ossi di morto". Spettacolari
