28/02/2026: A restaurant in the center of Milazzo, just steps from the town hall. First time... we came for lunch. The restaurant was practically empty. It was just us and maybe two others. Despite being almost alone, the wait times, the wait, and the courses were slow and confusing. The appetizers were supposed to arrive first, then the meat. The meat arrived first, served on a cast iron plate to keep it warm. In fact, the plate was cold and the meat lukewarm. They forgot the drinks, and the appetizer arrived last after a very long wait. Terrible service. I'm sorry to say this. The meat wasn't bad, but being cold is unacceptable. The price was high for the service and the dishes ordered. We definitely won't be returning.

21/10/2025: I don't think I've been more offended than this experience! We were recommended this place by a sweet shop owner down the street. We arrived at 7:15 pm and asked the waiter (a tall, thin guy with black hair and glasses) when they close. He said 7:30 pm, which we knew wasn't true. He then said he doesn't understand Italian, so I spoke English to him. Then he said he didn't understand English. He hands me his phone with Google Translate, and it was "English to Italian." He was clearly jerking me around and didn't want to serve us. This was petty and childish. I don't think I've ever been more offended than this experience! We were recommended this place by the owner of a sweet shop down the street. We arrived at 7:15 pm and asked the waiter (a tall, thin guy with black hair and glasses) what time they close. He said 7:30 pm, which we knew wasn't true. Then he said he didn't understand Italian, so I spoke to him in English. Then he said he didn't understand English. He handed me his phone with Google Translate, and it said "English to Italian." It was clear he was making fun of me and didn't want to help us. It was mean and childish.

14/10/2025: This has to be one of the best Bars in Salina. A MUST GO!!!! Emiliana, Christopher, Bartallo & Fedarica could not have been more accommodating to all our drinking and food needs. In a month that I stayed in Salina I went there almost everyday. The atmosphere was exactly what you want while you're on vacation in summer. I LOVED IT!!!!!

16/12/2025: The Riva Smeralda location is truly beautiful and evocative: overlooking the sea, with an atmosphere that promises a pleasant and relaxing evening. Unfortunately, however, the quality of the food didn't quite meet expectations. There were 15 of us, and we all ordered pizza: mediocre dough, with toppings placed haphazardly and carelessly, truly disappointing. The service, if anything, was even worse: the waiters were rushed, giving you the constant feeling that they just wanted to take your plate away and vacate the table as quickly as possible. A real shame, because the location has enormous potential, but considering the (very high) prices, the overall experience was disappointing. I reiterate a fundamental point: exorbitant prices.

16/10/2025: I don't think there's a more beautiful place than this. The 5 stars are only for the location; everything else provides an excellent backdrop for this stunning view.

21/03/2026: The girl at the entrance was very rude and unsuitable for working with the public. The beers arrived 40 minutes after ordering, and the meat was cold. Rating: 0

14/03/2026: Terrible service. You call in the morning to reserve a table for 8:30 PM. We show up at 8:45 PM and the table was already taken because we were "10 minutes late"... so I wonder why they make reservations? Tolerance is appreciated, but if it were an excessive delay, losing a table for being 10 minutes late... the time it takes to find a parking spot seems pretty ridiculous to me. Respect for customers is below zero... I definitely wouldn't recommend it. Service and respect for the customer come before the quality of the food. Their reliability is truly precarious.

24/10/2025: Probably the most confusing place we’ve been so far. Based of the mixed reviews we still decided to give it a shot; the menu had some promising vegetarian options we wanted to try. It turned out to be really expensive for the quality of the food, Coperto of €5 per person AND a 15% service charge. A simple pasta for a whopping €35. Panzanella for €15, the quality not bad but I could make it at home way better. A bottle of tap water? €5. One sprite? Also 5€. Would not recommend it to anyone, but I have to say they really tried to give amazing service.

20/10/2025: We popped in for a quick lunch were pleasantly surprised but the delicious dishes. The amuse bouche was a great addition as well.

09/10/2025: Our waiter recommended the Caudu cocktail and it was fantastic - best cocktail I’ve tasted. He was a lovely guy, a local, prepared to offer his advice and we took it. Wonderful experience

23/09/2025: The sky bar is relatively hidden, so it's worth getting there right at 5 p.m. You can still enjoy the peace and quiet and the beautiful view. The staff was very friendly throughout. A cocktail costs €24. It's not exactly cheap, but the view and the ambiance make up for it. It was a truly great visit!

30/11/2025: Tiziana and Peppe have become a local institution. Their establishment is located in one of the most beautiful spots in Messina, and the quality of their aperitivo is simply superb. The squid ink arancini are highly recommended.

27/08/2025: A lovely little restaurant right on the shore. The owner is friendly and his wife is a fantastic cook, making sure you enjoy the delicious flavors of yesteryear. The place is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. When we go to Messina, we always make the most of it by having dinner at "Sfizi e fritti"—it's truly worth it. Thanks, Peppe, the owner.

22/10/2025: A really cute and welcoming place, close to the cable car and the steps to the beach. The place offers several daily specials. We had spaghetti carbonara and gnocchi with tomato sauce.

26/08/2025: I'm sorry to write this review because I've always had arancini and they've always been excellent! However, if something goes bad or you've had them for a while, you shouldn't sell them. The negative note is that the pistachio arancini were acidic, so something went bad and they fell apart. I ate a few bites and obviously felt sick to my stomach.... So, a piece of advice if you have arancini that were made too long ago, taste them before selling them, otherwise you risk making the customer feel bad and you'll get a negative review in the best-case scenario!!

29/08/2025: Last Saturday, I spent an evening at this bar on the Roccalumera seafront, strategically located with a picturesque view of the Strait. The modern, pleasant atmosphere puts you at ease, allowing you to relax and enjoy an excellent aperitif with background music. I had an excellent whiskey sour, expertly crafted with a perfect blend of various ingredients. I recommend this lovely establishment because the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing, with excellent bar and cuisine. Affordable prices.

03/01/2026: The granita and croissants were exceptional! Nothing to complain about. The service, however, was terrible, leaving much to be desired. The girls were rude and rude, especially the girl with long hair, who was arrogant and very unprofessional.
