A variety of pastries and gelato! That day I only tried gelato and pastries there. It’s all good, especially I like their tiramisu cause it’s not too sweet. They also had a gelato with pana cake that is quite interesting to try.
For gelato, I like chocolate, fruity flavors (sour as I like) and stracciatella.

I have been going here alo. The staff are so nice and i am in love with the granita here.
I highly recommend granita pistachio e fragola or caffee panna con brioche , these are the must-try there!

The brioche col gelato here is, more precisely, gelato in a brioche!

Coffee and an excellent cannoli at the counter for €3.50...a fair price, and an excellent cannoli by Messina standards, which aren't exactly high for superlative cannoli! The pastry shop isn't the most beautiful, but it offers friendly service and quality at more than fair prices, unlike other cheap places in the area with exorbitant prices for much lower quality! Congratulations...

This review is dedicated to a historic establishment on the Riviera Nord in Messina, once the flagship of the city's pastry shop, ice cream parlor, and café, but sadly no longer enjoying its former glory.
🌟 The Glorious Past
It tells of a golden age, led by the historic pastry chef owner, whose experience and passion raised the quality level to unparalleled heights. His products were renowned, a symbol of Messina excellence. His passing, unfortunately, marked the beginning of a downward spiral.
📉 The Decline and Current Management
The family succession failed to maintain the standard, apparently leading to a crisis and the subsequent takeover of management by a third party. Today, the establishment is in a state of disrepair, stripped of its former splendor.
Ambience and Decor: The interior shows the weight of the years. The lack of renovation is evident, and a general tiredness can be felt throughout.
The Glass Counter: Perhaps the most painful aspect is the old glass counter, so worn and opaque that the pastries inside fail to shine, hiding the beauty and freshness of the products.
👍 The Bright Side: Quality and Effort
Despite the structural issues, it's important to emphasize one fundamental aspect: the intrinsic quality of the products remains good, and the credit goes entirely to the staff.
The employees work hard and passionately, preparing desserts, ice creams, and specialties that still express the flavor of tradition and craftsmanship. It's a real shame that so much effort and deliciousness are penalized by such a dated setting.
This place is a clear example of how excellent craftsmanship and ingredients can clash with the neglect of a renovation.
If you're looking for quality products, it's still worth a visit.
If you're looking for a modern and impeccable environment, you'll be disappointed.
