Delicious: you can find something to eat any time of day. Breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner: the menu offers everything, along with the catch of the day (not included in the menu). Highly recommended.

In Messina, I have my go-to places, and this bar is one of them. Today, I introduced some relatives from Lazio to your granita, and they were extremely satisfied. Excellent product quality, and extremely friendly waiters; even the new hires were well-chosen.

24/03/2026: Super hospitable and the food was delicious.
16/03/2026: Natasha and owner Giovanni gave us a very warm welcome and took excellent care of us. Despite the foggy, gray weather, the view was beautiful. A fantastic property, situated on a hillside. The appetizer platter with fish and seafood was plenty for two and absolutely delicious. The pasta with cherry tomatoes, shrimp, and lemon was perfect. The spaghetti with mussels was also excellent. In both cases, the pasta was cooked to perfect al dente!

Pizzeria Napoletana Lo Scugnizzo

07/09/2025: One of the nicest small family restaurants in town. It was a wonderful experience to have dinner here. Both the small appetizers and the spaghetti vongole and lasagna were delicious. The very friendly service and the pleasant surroundings, set back from the road, are simply fantastic. Simply a wonderful atmosphere! And we weren't surprised at the end by the bill (as is often the case in this area) because some kind of service charge or something else was added on. And I've rarely seen such genuine appreciation for my generous tip. Highly recommended!
