10/09/2025: I had the pleasure of dining here last night. The place is very elegant and pleasant. We were served by very kind and helpful waiters, always ready to recommend the right food. We started with a delicious shrimp cocktail, followed by spaghetti with clams and gnocchi with pesto and shrimp, all accompanied by a fruity white wine that made the dinner incredibly tasty. We finished with a panna cotta and an apple tart. Nothing to add, everything was perfect. The sound of the waves in the background created a magical atmosphere. If you love good food, this is a must-try, highly recommended!

We arrived at 7:15 pm and asked the waiter (a tall, thin guy with black hair and glasses) when they close. He said 7:30 pm, which we knew wasn't true. He then said he doesn't understand Italian, so I spoke English to him. Then he said he didn't understand English. He hands me his phone with Google Translate, and it was "English to Italian." He was clearly jerking me around and didn't want to serve us. This was petty and childish. I don't think I've ever been more offended than this experience! 14/10/2025: This has to be one of the best Bars in Salina. A MUST GO!!!! Emiliana, Christopher, Bartallo & Fedarica could not have been more accommodating to all our drinking and food needs. In a month that I stayed in Salina I went there almost everyday. The atmosphere was exactly what you want while you're on vacation in summer. I LOVED IT!!!!!

It's worth checking out here and trying, for example, the setteveli, which is not bad, and the babà; the other assortment of sweets is excellent. At the same time, the ice cream is very ordinary, and the service is unpleasant. Be prepared to pay more than usual. 2025. I've visited this bar a couple of times recently. I didn't like it at all. The almond granita had a bad taste, the brioche was so-so, and the cappuccino smelled of the specific smell of shelf-stable milk, which also interrupted the aroma of the coffee. At the same time, the prices are high. 7.20 euros for: bad granita without cream, old brioche, cappuccino and croissant. Also, the smell of tobacco smoke when eating and drinking inside the establishment. Tasteless and expensive. Not recommended.

22/10/2025: A riot of croissants and other sweets that won't let you leave until you've tried a little bit of everything. Excellent, tasty products...fragrant croissants In short, the best!! We stopped by chance, we were passing through...now when we're in Messina, it'll be a must-visit.

03/10/2025: Let me start by saying that the products are good. The staff doesn't wear identifying uniforms, and it's hard to tell whether those entering and leaving the shop are employees or not. The staff, poorly trained in ingredients, give answers based on hearsay; perhaps they've never read the ingredients book, which is mandatory if you want to serve at the counter. Another point to note: they have a wide range of fillings, all as good as the LOTUS, but they have no idea which ones are lactose-free, and for the record, they'll only tell you the lactose-free Nutella. So, for those with lactose intolerances, don't order jams because the counter assistant claims they contain lactose, of course not! P.S. The ORIGINAL LOTUS IS LACTOSE-FREE. For those in the area, I recommend the Lotus croissant.

05/11/2025: To some, it may seem like just a bar, but to me, it's always felt like home. The girls are always smiling and very kind. Even if they only see me once a year, they remember me and save my favorite lobster tail for me. The pastas are simply perfect, always fresh and perfectly balanced in flavor. You absolutely have to stop by.

13/11/2025: Last night I ordered a pizza from SIKULA and it was fantastic! Exceptional flavor and excellent ingredients! Perfectly cooked in the wood-fired oven... plus, the delivery was on time and the pizza was piping hot, as if it had just come out of the oven. Excellent place, definitely worth a try!
