Wonderful little spot to stop at for some refreshments. Nicely shaded and in a quiet part of town. Highly recommend the Crema Café. Service was good and pretty affordable too.

A beautiful café with a lovely outdoor terrace, delicious French croissants, and incredibly kind waitresses and staff. This is one of the few places in Messina where you can relax under natural shade in a peaceful atmosphere. The coffee is excellent, and you can really tell they pay attention to how it's prepared. They also offer several types of milk, which is a big plus. Highly recommended!

A simple yet welcoming place. The classic Messina granita, coffee with cream, and fresh, fragrant brioche with "tuppo" are excellent.

Ristorante Main Palace Hotel

07/06/2026: Nice enough place however despite their website showing a host of facilities, they were all closed....no pool, no roof terrace, no outside bar. We were very disappointed. So check before you book, I would guess that if everything is open it would be a great place to stay. There's not too much in the area to do but the beach is lovely. Most of the local restaurants were also closed so unable to comment on local food.
24/05/2026: Located opposite the beach, the hotel is immaculate with spacious, clean rooms and terraces. One small drawback: we had booked specifically to use the pool... but on the day we arrived... we were told the pool wasn't open, which was a huge disappointment.
