A wonderful discovery right in the center of Malfa. We stumbled upon this place for lunch, overlooking the square. The pane cunzato is HUGE; we each ordered half. The prices are more than fair for the island average, and the quality of the food is even better. There are places on the island that are half as expensive. Excellent! If we ever stop in Salina again, we'll definitely be back.

The pane cunzato was very good, prepared with generous and well-balanced ingredients.
We chose the Lipari, with baked ricotta shavings, grilled eggplant, mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, and cherry tomatoes: flavorful, rich, and truly satisfying.
The location is also lovely, overlooking the small square of Malfa. Recommended for a simple yet tasty break.

Courtesy and friendliness, excellent service, the swordfish steak was delicious but the menu, although not very extensive, is well worth returning a second time.

We ate outside, enjoying a pleasant breeze, sharing a pane cunzato; it was a good meal, well-seasoned. With a bottle of water, we paid €23. There's a bus stop across the street for buses to various destinations on the island.

If you're looking for a light bite rather than a full restaurant experience, this is the place. The food is reheated in the microwave before serving.
The highlight of the meal was definitely the dessert the Nutella and ricotta cheesecake! It was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all our expectations.
The Aperol was OK (below average), I expected a place that calls itself a bar to know how to make the most precise Aperol on the island.
To eat, we had the arancini, which was delicious, and the prosciutto and pistachio pesto calzone, which was the best of the bunch. We also ordered a pesto pizza with mozzarella, black olives and cherry tomatoes that was really not good. the dough was bland definitely not worth the calories.

Popped in for lunch and was politely & friendly shown to a table where the table top was a sheet of lava 😃 I ordered the Salad, tomato tuna capers & balsamic vinegar on toccata. It was superb, fantastic. I had hear that this was a tradition Salina dish. Honestly, try it it’s fabulous here.

A friendly waitress who treated us to delicious snacks. Locals gather there. We saw kids playing football in the square. Italy as we love it!
