21/03/2025: It's a welcoming place and the staff are friendly. The food is delicious and very filling, generous portions and delicious. Unfortunately, in the heat of the moment I don't have any photos of the appetizer and main courses, but this fry was extraordinary. I will definitely come back next time I come down

24/01/2025: Excellent location, I had pasta for my lunch break. Huge and abundant dishes. Menu offering both fish and meat variations. Room with many seats. Both lunch and dinner. Personally I was undecided between seafood carbonara and pasta with breadcrumbs and sardines. In the end I got the latter, I'll try the carbonara next time. Very good chef, friendly dining room staff. Fair prices. I would stay here again and recommend

24/10/2024: Abbiamo avuto la segnalazione del locale come trattoria alla buona ma con prodotti di qualità’ da un pescatore e siamo andati due volte a tentare di cenare visto che la prima sera era pieno. La cena è stata invece deludente perché nonostante i prezzi fossero allineati con gli alti prezzi di tutti i ristoranti delle Eolie e la qualità fosse buona la realizzazione era trascurata tanto che uno spaghetto alle vongole da 20 euro aveva 6 vongole, era cotto in modo non uniforme, slegato dal sugo ed anche freddo. Comunque alla fine il proprietario ragazzo,giovane e volitivo,è venuto a scusarsi motivando il disagio dovuto alla distanza della cucina dal servizio in dehors e dalla forte affluenza di ospiti, anomala per ottobre. Dovrà’ attrezzarsi alle emergenze se vuole sopravvivere anche con i turisti italiani e non solo con gli stranieri che, a parte pochi casi, non sono molto ferrati in cucina!

27/09/2024: Simple and nice place overlooking the Ionian coast. The food is excellent thanks to the choice of products that tend to enhance the territory. The service is good with trained and polite guys and although the place was full we didn't wait long to have dinner.

12/09/2024: They look very appetizing, the bun is very crunchy and the ingredients are very fresh. A rustic dish, easily satiating. Fast service even though there were many of us and there was a lot of confusion! I would suggest booking before going to this place. The problem, however, is parking, you have to be careful, because there is a road, the sooner you arrive the better.

28/08/2024: To start the day well, the ideal place is the glorious bar. Wide choice of croissants and especially the brioche granitas with tuppo. I recommend you take the granita with almonds and the one with coffee and cream. Excellent

26/01/2025: Given that it is not the first time I have had breakfast (cappuccino and small or large croissant) at this meeting place, I must however complain about an unjustified increase in prices. You can't charge a cappuccino of 2.50 euros and 2 small croissants with jam (small I would say mignon!!) 1.60 euros each, before they were proportionally larger and less expensive. As far as the service and quality are concerned, I don't argue, the price is disproportionate paid. Not even at Igino Massari's pastry shop in Verona did I pay 1.60 for a mignon croissant!! Just for comparison, today Sunday 26th I consumed the same breakfast, the only difference is a large croissant and jam, in a well-known pastry bar in the city centre, paying the same amount, but here we are talking about pastries and superior quality!! It's a shame because the kindness of the staff and the pleasant environment are not enough to get the best of the stars!!!

15/01/2025: Monday 25th November around 9.15pm I was craving some Sfogliatelle, My wife and I entered the Pastry Bar, it was clear that we weren't local, they took us for tourists, because we actually live in Northern Italy, I asked the lady if they had Sfogliatelle she said yes, and went to the laboratory and took the 4 Sfogliatelle that I asked for. For 4 Sfogliatelle I paid 8 euros Tourist price, I wasn't a local. We went home to Arienzo to try the Sfogliatelle, and we noticed that the Sfogliatelle were not fresh, they were from Sunday. In the end I paid 4 Sfogliatelle from the day before for 8 euros, because they saw that we were tourists we also paid with ATM, I will never set foot in this bar again and one bad thing is not to sell products from the day before as fresh and then a very high price for the prices in the country

17/11/2024: In the fall of 2012, my family and I spent eight days at this quaint, cozy art hotel. We had a wonderful time there. The hotel is right on the beach. The rooms are comfortable, and the walls are hung with original art by Peppe. Sculptures by the artist can be admired in the hallways, corridors, and stairwell. Dinner was served to us by the artist in a restaurant right next to the beach. There were all kinds of pasta. Peppe was very hospitable and was able to converse with us a little in German. He also gave me a cookbook with his original autograph. We had a wonderful time in Sicily. I would love to vacation at his hotel again.
