Très agréable surprise. Endroit charmant. Petite rue de centre ville.Cuisine inventive et de qualité. Personnel très avenant et attentif et parlant français de moins en moins évident!!!!. .vin de l'Etna tres bon.Conclusion très bonne table.

Great food, delicious wine, beautiful setting

We had the 4 course fish taster plus dessert menu with the wine pairing. The raw fish dish first course was explained well, and was good, but neither of us were fond of the Amberjack, but that was down to personal preference. The pasta dish was my favourite, dessert was good too as were all the wines.

From the restaurant setting to the staff, from the ambiance to the table wear this restaurant gets it just so right. The food- oh my goodness- the presentation of each plate is simply a work of art. Lastly the food itself! Every dish we had was breathtaking. Congratulations Kiste!

This place is absolutely fantastic. Very quaint and the pictures I’ve seen don’t do it justice. Every detail is classy and elegant and yet unpretentious in terms of the decor. The food? Out of this WORLD. Every bite was a dream. It’s a 2 minute walk from Four Seasons. A tiny bit hard to find as Google Maps will take you around it, unfortunately. Just turn left from the hotel entrance / exit, and it’s the first alley on the right. Go to end of street and look left and you’ll see it. Staff is lovely, it’s nice and quiet and romantic, very interesting lighting features. Bar is fine, possible some would say it could be expanded a tiny bit but they have the basics all dialed in. You go there for the food. I was shocked that on a Saturday night, it was not jam packed. I attribute that to other places being more over hyped and this place feels like a family restaurant and zero touristy vibe to it. Oozes authenticity. My wife and I are foodies and I’m here to say this restaurant is a MUST for anyone visiting Taormina!!! Feel like a dummy for not taking more photos because I mentioned above, the photos you find on Google are just not adequate at all. The only suggestion I have for management other than expanding the bar a little, is to dim the lighting a tad. But we LOVE Kiste!!!! Would go back again in one minute and tried to talk my wife into a return but our itinerary is packed with other places. I’ll keep trying.

The food was beautiful in both taste and appearance, I went with my family of 3 and we shared 2 antipasti, 2 pastas, 3 mains and 3 desserts which was honestly too much food but was still easily finished due to its quality. My only criticism of the food is that a couple of the more decorative sauces were used more than once which slightly took away from the character of the dish, namely the mint sauce which was used in 2 of the antipasti and 2 of the desserts, but even with this all the dishes and wines were well explained and tasted great.

Ambiente accogliente e molto intimo. La ricercatezza e qualità delle materie prime rende i piatti una vera delizia per il palato e al tempo stesso un tripudio di emozioni. Consiglio vivamente di fare questa esperienza. Complimenti allo chef e a tutti i collaboratori.

Sensationelles Menü - aussergewöhlich gut. Sehr nettes und professionelles Service. Große Weiterempfehlung. Achtung - wenn man nicht direkt im Ort wohnt mit dem Taxi nach Taormina fahren - Grund mega Stau und noch wichtiger - bei unserem Besuch - keine Parkplätze mehr in den riesen Garagen....

We had an amazing experience at Kiste last week. We couldn’t decide so we went for the full 8 course tasting menu and 5 wine pairings. Was it expensive? Sure. Was it worth it? Absolutely. We spent 3.5 hours having an amazing dinner with exceptional wines. If this quality of food and type of dining experience is not for you then feel free to look elsewhere. The negative reviews from our experience are not warranted, just people not accustomed to a fine dining experience and cost. We loved it!
