02/06/2025: Esperienza da mai più ripetere. Hanno perso da subito la nostra comanda. Piano piano tutti tavoli si riempivano e mangiavano tutti tranne noi. Dopo un ora arriva l Antipasto che ti fanno pagare a peso d'oro e che anche solo a livello di quantità non ne vale assolutamente la pena. Dopo aver aspettato un' altra ora per l arrivo dei primi e nessuno dei camerieri ne sapeva niente.. abbiamo deciso di alzarci ed andare via. Con due bambini che a questo punto sono rimasti digiuni. Il proprietario invece di capire e venirci incontro e comportarsi in maniera umana cercava il pretesto per litigare. Siamo rimasti scioccati da questo individuo perchè neanche signore si può chiamare , che ad una certa età dovrebbe sapere come ci si comporta. Che delusione.. per non parlare dei servizi igienici ridotti in maniera catastrofica. Non meritate dei clienti come noi. A mai più.

27/05/2025: I returned after many years and found the same welcoming atmosphere and the same kind service. The rich appetizers are definitely the strong point. The menu is fixed and ends with a selection of sweets and liqueurs of all kinds, a nice final gesture! It's a shame that the tastings of first and second courses are rather insignificant, without any particular flavors or ideas. Overall an experience without infamy and without praise: you eat, but it doesn't leave a mark.

01/05/2025: Oggi 1 maggio 2025...da Giarre e senza nessuna meta prefissata...un transitare da Giardini Naxos, da Letojanni ( solito nostro ristorante ma...impossibilitati per problema parcheggio e quindi continuare la strada... ), Sant'Alessio...nulla di visto gradito...il continuare ed entrare nel sempre più bel lungomare di Santa Teresa di Riva...ecco che qui si riesce a trovare un posto-parcheggio-auto e quindi provare a chiedere la disponibilità in alcuni posti di ristorazione aperti...Chiedere per due soli posti al responsabile di sala ( Federico o Francesco ?...che ci farà da cassiere alla fine e ancora prima alle nostre scelte del Menù...) la possibilità di pranzare da non prenotati...e lui dopo un pò ci trova un buon tavolo per sederci...Si ordina e si mangia...tutto meravigliosamente bene, ogni cosa cercata e servita...dall'antipasto di mare, al pesce, al pane, alle bevande...è mancato solo il dessert ordinato ( al momento deciso già tutto mangiato...dessert Delizia al Limone...) ma in ogni caso soddisfatti da due buon caffè e al tirare delle conclusioni...soddisfatti e sorpresi dalla bontà, dalla qualità, dalla gentilezza mostrata da ogni componente che ci ha servito e dal prezzo normalissimo pagato e senza quegli esagerati numeri €uro di alcuni Ristoranti di locazione mare e di vista spiaggia. Complimenti meritati a loro. Noi ? Appena in zona...se dovessimo cercare dove mangiare sapremo dove andare. Angela e Mario

26/09/2024: What a lovely time! We had read reviews on Villa Carla and called asking about a cooking class for dinner. The class, the food, the hospitality were all outstanding and lots of fun! Classes are only during the shoulder seasons when they aren’t so busy…we understand why! And the view at sunset is breathtaking.

01/09/2024: Locale molto gradevole alla vista in collina con bella terrazza e splendida vista Apparecchiatura curata Cibi molto buoni e finalmente alternativi a quelli che vengono proposti sull’isola dalla maggior parte dei ristoranti Piatti curati e cibo di giusta quantità Molto scorretta l’assenza del menù scritto e della carta dei vini. Per questo non ho dato il massimo

23/05/2025: Quaint, very local establishment in the tiny enclave of Serre di Rapolano. Lucky for us it was the only restaurant open in the town that accommodated our group of 5. I imagine the server was perhaps tired from a long day of serving and we were the last customers at almost 10pm. So although the service suffered a bit, the food was great!

03/05/2025: Very disappointing experience. I went to the "Chiosco dei Colli" on May 1st for a picnic with friends. The place is nice, with wooden tables and seats, but for 23 euros I was served a miserable menu (the mixed grill consisted of a small knot of sausage each and a skewer of chops...) The most unpleasant thing, however, is that, despite having paid and consumed there, I was denied the possibility of using a bathroom for the child, with the excuse that "they don't have it anymore". I find it absurd that an establishment that serves food on site does not provide a toilet, as required by law. I will not return and do not recommend it, especially to families or people with healthcare needs.

06/04/2025: Very bad. Unjustifiably expensive. To be avoided. Supplement of €1 for the choice of having the dish on the plate (plastic) to be added to €8.50 for 4 cutlets and 2 lettuce leaves. I leave aside the quality of the poor chops in terms of quality and quantity. Very disappointed. I'm sorry because I respect other people's work.

17/06/2025: We discovered this place by coincidence at a moment we were craving for bruschetta. Very delicious and fresh! Cute atmosphere, hidden in a side street away from the crowds. Wide range of menu, many to choose from. Staff are friendly and helpful too. Highly recommended this place if you want to have wine and appetizers

08/03/2025: Focaccia con impasto poco lievitato e troppo colloso, ma la vera "sorpresa" sono stati gli arancini: nessuna traccia di ragù, ma salsa di pomodoro con cubetti di würstel e pochissimi piselli! Non credo nemmeno si possano chiamare arancini. Un insulto per Messina.

18/04/2025: La comida era excelente. Vi a los camareros 3 veces reutilizar el pan no comido y los palitos de pan de las cestas de las mesas. De hecho, vi a un camarero sacar dos trozos de pan de la cesta que parecía medio comido y luego rellenar la cesta con un par de panes nuevos para otra mesa.

27/03/2025: very characteristic and well-kept environment, parking available. the dishes, even using the all you can eat formula, are really of the highest quality. the service is professional, the staff very kind and always available. in the area it is the best sushi, even better than many others around Italy. I will be back very willingly!

02/05/2025: Don't expect anything. No animals, no beautiful views, no special things. There's just nothing. I've never seen such a bare farmhouse.
