I migliori ristoranti in Messina

13/05/2025: Siamo tornati dopo qualche anno in questo ristorantino nel centro storico di Taormina (fra il corso principale e il duomo) e tutto ha confermato l’ottima impressione avuta in precedenza. Abbiamo mangiato dei ravioli con ricotta e crema di pistacchi e degli gnocchi con pesto e gamberoni. Poi abbiamo diviso del calamaro gratinato con panatura e verdure. Tutto ottimo. Il locale è dotato di un delizioso giardinetto e di un balconcino più riparato con due tavoli. Prezzo assolutamente nella norma. La gestione è a carattere familiare con personale gentile e cordiale. Torneremo senz’altro.

07/04/2025: Lugar tranquilo justo detrás del duomo bajando unos escalones. Recomendado por el hotel. Acogedor lugar familiar, comida siciliana. Albóndigas y carne muy buena. Ravioli estaba bien. Los bandos eran generosos.

29/10/2025: Amazing coffee and delicious pastries with a view of the sea and Stromboli. Loud, but relaxed and laid-back.

12/10/2025: I haven't tried all the bars in Lipari, but this is DEFINITELY the best for spectacular breakfasts and aperitivos!!! The prices are truly Sicilian, not the exorbitant tourist fare you'll find on most islands. We've tried the pastries, the granitas with cream, and the croissants; everything has always been delicious and served in the best possible way. Not to mention the aperitivos!! The price is incredibly low for everything they serve! If you go to the island, you MUST stop here at least once; besides, there's a bus stop right in front.

20/10/2025: We have been there twice, and only ordered pasta. In my opinion they have the best pasta in the area as a home restaurant.

12/10/2025: The food is not special, the portions are small, but it is expensive. Maybe because it is surrounded by hotels and villas.

24/06/2025: Very clean and welcoming place. The sofas are nice and the seats are very comfortable. The prices are more than fair and the staff is always friendly. The owner is very kind.

12/08/2025: Nothing to say. Everything was perfect. They seated us, despite the late hour, welcoming us with great courtesy and kindness. All the dishes served were excellent and carefully prepared. Honorable mention for the lobster sauce: special.

04/08/2025: The best pastry shop in Messina. Welcoming premises, courteous, fast and helpful owners. Small pastries, ricotta cannoli, almond paste, croissants and pignolata are truly good and delicious. The granita with cream and brioche is stratospheric!! The best cream I've ever tasted!! The private internal room and the terrace with the garden are very comfortable. Maximum cleanliness, polite and kindness of all the staff. The home delivery guy "Giuseppe" is exceptionally kind and polite. Prices are normal. I truly recommend it‼️‼️For me you are truly number 1. I invite you to try it.

20/07/2025: The best cream I've ever tasted in Sicily. The granitas, especially the pistachio ones, are a bit subdued. Excellent prices!

01/11/2025: A couple of months ago, it changed hands, keeping the restaurant's name, but not only that, it also maintained the high quality and deliciousness of its pizzas, first courses, and second courses. The staff is professional and knowledgeable, and the prices are affordable, but it's worth it. I highly recommend stopping in, even if just out of curiosity—you won't be disappointed.

13/09/2025: Delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly, courteous staff. The beef burger was delicious, not to mention the pizza and appetizers. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Recommended! See you next time...

15/04/2025: In the premises of the former covered market, for 10 years now Perditempo has lived up to its name by offering a space in which to meet with friends and have a chat while sipping creative and original drinks, where culture is added to the mastery of the excellent barman. The aperitif formula is pleasant, refined and generous.

08/09/2025: BAD EXPERIENCE...!!! We ordered several pizzas with PROSCIUTTO CRUDO (raw ham) as the main ingredient, and were told it was unavailable because it would be the last day of the season...!!! So we changed the pizza flavors, choosing the "Messinese" pizza, which arrived with burnt (black) curly lettuce. We called the owner, and in his defense, he told us that this was normal, given the high temperatures of the oven. We replied that in such conditions, it was inedible. At that point, he was "forced" to ask us if we wanted another pizza made, meaning he was willing to REMAKE it... Annoyed, we said, "Let's make a MARGHERITA..." After a couple of minutes, he returned with the SAME Messinese pizza (not the Margherita we ordered), CLEANED of the black lettuce leaves: "Here, ma'am, we've made you a NEW PIZZA." At that point, we were speechless and, of course, didn't eat what he had served. Another pizza was served with very salty bresaola. When it came to the final "reckoning," we even paid for the burn..!!! As mentioned, it will be difficult to return.

04/09/2025: A perfect location for a day of relaxation and fun! I visited this establishment on a Sunday in late August and was pleasantly surprised by the people still working there with such professionalism and dedication. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the food, the attention to detail, the cleanliness. Added to all this are the competitive and super affordable prices, especially considering the high quality of the service offered. The only flaw, if I could offer a suggestion for improvement for next season, is the booking management: I admire the fact that they allow reservations and reserve a spot without any strings attached. However, since people generally have little regard for others, they might call a week in advance to secure the best spot, then never show up, and they don't even have the good sense to call to cancel. As a result, perfect spots remain sadly empty while new requests are rejected, or families are assigned spots far from the children's pool, forcing them to wander around the area for the whole day. But despite this, I can only recommend this place and say that I will definitely be back!

23/08/2025: The Jeep guy owes me an apology. Last night I was abused for leaving my car in the unloading lane, which has a 12-hour time limit. From 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, I parked after 9:30 PM, and the guy thinks he owns the road. You couldn't unload the drinks in 12 hours? And you attacked us, saying you shouldn't park there and using foul language. Last night was my son's birthday, and you got us off to a bad start. I'm very careful when I park, and there were no handicapped spots. If there had been, I would have parked there. You weren't right, even though my children and I had to put up with your bad temper. The most rational thing would have been to admit your mistake and apologize.

15/10/2025: We arrived there by chance and were seated on a small veranda with tables nestled together like a Tetris. Nonetheless, the atmosphere was welcoming, which I think was normal—since it's Sunday, they try to accommodate as many customers as possible. The dishes were really good, though perhaps a little overpriced for a trattoria. Now for the main problem: the service. I'd say it was an exhausting experience, to say the least! The people milling around the dining room looked like they were on their first day on the job, and not even... total disorganization, never a smile or a friendly word, not even when faced with the most obvious mistake! I highly recommend reviewing a few points because, given the good food, this place could offer so much more.

14/10/2025: We ate at this restaurant recommended by the B&B where my girlfriend and I were staying. What can I say, everything was truly delicious! The freshest, most traditional, and delicious products, from appetizers to desserts, from house wine to coffee, were so delicious that we asked the owner where we could buy some of the cheeses and cured meats we'd enjoyed. She was kind enough to direct us directly to the farm where they were produced, and where we decided to go the next morning! Everything was excellent value for money. Highly recommended to anyone who has the opportunity to visit the beautiful village of Montalbano Elicona and its stunning megaliths.
