06/11/2025: As a tourist, you absolutely MUST try the pistachio ice cream. It's the best ice cream I've ever eaten, even though I don't usually like pistachio ice cream. Absolutely sensational!

22/11/2025: The table service outside could be a bit better; we had to wait quite a while for our menus to be handed out and our order to be taken. Nonetheless, the sushi here is the tastiest in the city. The quality and combinations are refined and elegant; the eel was exceptional. It's definitely high-end sushi, which is reflected in the prices, but you know, quality comes at a price, and you need a treat every now and then!

23/09/2025: We were sitting on the beach in front of the restaurant. The smell of food made us hungry. I then found cozze (mussels) on the menu. The portion was a generous €15. I've never tasted better. Slightly spicy, with garlic, tomato, and white wine. Coperto was €1.50. The cozze is a dream. Good service with a sea view. Moretti draft beer is too expensive at €6 (0.4l).

22/09/2025: Lack of transparency... a well-kept beach in an excellent location... but what we consumers cannot and will not forgive is the lack of transparency and the unclear information regarding prices for admission, sunbeds, umbrellas, etc.

30/10/2025: Pretty setting, cold decor and bad lighting. Not well equipped for yoga retreats. The entire staff smokes, the yoga room is a dining room next to the kitchen, good breakfast, the dinner menu had some good pasta dishes but was challenging for vegans and vegetarians (some had to go buy food), the ‘double rooms’ have a bed and a sofa, not adequate for 2 adults sharing. This required costly changes after arrival, though we had confirmed there would be 2 beds. Also, there are 2 buildings, one 100m away by the road and much less charming than the one pictured. BEWARE of unpleasant surprise charges at check out! They charge 30€ for a 5 min ride to or from town! I also got charged 8€ for 2 cups of tea (!), despite having unlimited tea as part of our retreat… Not the hotel's fault but I had a sleepless night due to a mouse in my room, they helped remove it but I never received an apology from the staff and was told it was because I opened the door to the balcony, although the mouse had made a hole in the mosquito net! Swiss hospitality, I suppose. That said, our yoga teacher was absolutely wonderful and would gladly join her again elsewhere!

26/10/2025: My partner and I had a wonderful weekend stay there! The property is beautiful, we had a great welcome drink, and the room was very comfortable 🤗 The still-warm October morning was perfect for spending time by the pool. On Saturday afternoon, the owners took us to the olive harvest in a neighboring grove. It was incredibly interesting to watch and even get involved ourselves! Afterwards, we pressed the olives in the nearby press to make the finest oil. It was an unforgettable weekend 🫒✨

05/03/2026: Wonderful place! The new management is incredibly helpful, courteous, and professional. The food evokes the typical flavors of the Nebrodi Mountains and traditional cuisine. All in all, a flawless evening: highly recommended!

13/11/2025: My wife, I, and some friends went to Il Gabbiano restaurant. We had dinner with various seafood dishes, all rigorously fresh and carefully prepared. The staff was polite and well-prepared, and the owner, Vittorio, and his wife, were truly knowledgeable and very professional. When you're in Capo D'Orlando, go there. We highly recommend it. 12/10/2025: A nice cafe near the highway entrance. Good pastries, pasta, and lunch specials are also available. There's also a large selection of Sicilian souvenirs and decorations.

27/01/2025: We found this place by chance. We wanted to try the rustici, but ended up ordering pizza as well. Everything was very good. We'll definitely be back.

26/09/2025: September 12, 2025, will forever be etched in our hearts as the most beautiful day of our lives... and we also owe all of this to Castello Pensabene, which gave us a magical and unforgettable experience. Our outdoor ceremony, under a fairytale starry sky, was enchanting. Every detail was taken care of with love and professionalism, creating a romantic and timeless atmosphere. The staff was simply exceptional: friendly, attentive, always present but never intrusive. The food exceeded every expectation—everyone showered us with compliments! A huge thank you goes to Dario and Alessandro, two extraordinary people who accompanied us with rare dedication. Their precision, availability, and kindness were essential to making everything we dreamed of come true. Without them, nothing would have been so perfect. We wanted to add a personal touch by making the wedding cake ourselves, which was greeted with enthusiasm and so much affection. And to conclude the evening, stratospheric fireworks lit up the sky and our hearts. Castello Pensabene is more than just a wonderful location: it's a place where you feel welcomed, listened to, and pampered.
