25/10/2025: A decent mussel soup and a sadly overcooked seafood risotto can happen, but poor service can't be ignored. • Point one: the waitress's obnoxious insistence on telling us what she was saying, pretending not to understand our requests. • Point two: the wine-by-the-glass scam, with a terrible, sour white wine that we had changed and which she then immediately passed on to the table behind us. The response was, quote: "If you ask me for wine by the glass, this is quality!" An unspeakable response, especially since any restaurant offers a choice of at least two whites and two reds. • Point three: the mockery about the mussels, quote: "They're small these days, but frankly, they're the ones I like best," and a few minutes later, at the same table behind us, quote: "Mussels are small these days, but I don't eat them anyway, neither large nor small." Frankly, we've never encountered such a bizarre place. And then when the owner, perhaps unaware, said goodbye to us by saying "See you next time," and we replied, "Frankly, next time won't be here," she remained speechless, not even trying to understand what had happened, not just to try to improve herself, but not even out of politeness. Speechless.

24/10/2025: Food was amazing staff helpful and patient with us as we don't speak Italian (we are English). One of the more expensive restaurants in the area but a must if you love seafood.

14/09/2025: A quiet and clean place. Popular with well-mannered people and quite busy in August, it unfortunately empties out in September, but the sea and beach remain very pleasant considering the persistently high temperatures. Recommended!

21/09/2025: I went for breakfast, the girls were very kind and prepared everything perfectly for me to take with me on my trip, pastries and bruschetta, everything was really excellent.

21/09/2025: We had granita with brioche, a croissant, and chocolate ice cream. They were delicious, everything very fresh. The service from the lady in charge was very friendly and always had a smile. I would definitely come back! ☺️

27/07/2025: A wonderful discovery! We dined on high-quality local produce: two rich and beautifully presented platters, both beautiful to look at and delicious to taste, with cured meats, cheeses, and traditional pane cunzatu. The horse meatballs were delicious, as were the delicious caponata and the simple yet flavorful grilled vegetables. The atmosphere is quiet and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing evening. Daniele welcomed us with great warmth and availability, making us feel the warmth of Sicilian hospitality. One small suggestion: it would be helpful to have a menu with prices, to better guide our choices. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

20/07/2025: There were 20 of us for dinner, a tasting menu with sandwiches and cured meats, wine and soft drinks. The bill was exorbitant, not to mention the desserts, which were stale and had an unpleasant aftertaste. We had them taken away, and he conscientiously didn't charge for them. Out of a total of €540.50, he gave us a €0.50 discount. He charged a cover charge for a 2-year-old girl and my nephew, who was sleeping in the stroller. Not to mention the bill, which he counted on a sort of receipt, several times for people with different menus. It was a terrible experience for us. We will never return.

28/10/2025: Fast, friendly, yummy! Quality fresh ingredients and a wide variety of made-to-order sandwiches with drink choices of beer, water, soda. The Nazionale with bresaola and lemon was brilliant. Clearly a local hang. Recommended!

27/08/2025: First and last time! After this experience, I think that's enough. I called at 7:00 PM to order 1.5 kg of focaccia with three different flavors: traditional, Tyrolean, and porcini mushrooms. I told them I'd be back at 8:00 PM. I took the focaccia away, and as soon as I got home, we saw they'd made 1.5 kg of traditional with a black olive in the center! A truly awful service! There's no shortage of focaccerias in Messina anyway.

30/04/2025: It's a unique place. You arrive in a special place, with incredibly good gelato, a wonderful Aperol Spritz, and a splendid view. It's not too touristy, which allows you to experience the real Italy. But the real highlight is the girl at the counter. She's incredibly kind and helpful, brilliant yet modest, cheerful and sociable. It's the best place in Messina.

13/11/2025: There isn't a better pizza in the entire province of Messina (and beyond), I've tried ALL of them, all the flavors... every time it's a dilemma deciding which one to choose... but I recommend the Segreto di Ape Nera... try it... and prepare yourself... it's addictive. Ps. I'm attaching some of my favorite pizzas...
