11/05/2025: Menu not very varied...almost obligatory to choose their fixed menu

26/04/2025: It's been many years since I was so disappointed by gluten free food... I spent Easter Monday with you and if I stayed at home it was better... when I called I asked if it was possible to have a menu for celiacs and I was given confirmation... in 2025 I didn't expect to have rusks instead of bread (try eating the meat with the rusks) but the biggest disappointment is the frozen lasagna... we'll smooth them over pitiful..I once again felt out of the world of catering where food is not for everyone. Beyond gluten-free, I specifically asked for a slice of veal, underlining that I didn't eat lamb and you served me sausage and lamb..poor service..I personally didn't argue but I felt "robbed"..a pack of rusks and a frozen lasagna aren't worth the price of what I paid..if you're not equipped. to cook a gluten-free pasta dish or if you can't buy a pack of bread next time when they ask you if you do gluten-free say no... you would have been more honest

03/05/2025: Apparently they can't understand the customer's requests when asked FOUR TIMES on the phone FOUR TIMES, and for the umpteenth time they have confirmed that they just can't handle it. If you call to order and you have a specific request, don't ask because they won't do it regardless

25/04/2025: I stopped by Panyllo and immediately fell in love with it. Rustici, really delicious bread and focaccia, all super fresh and made with care. The staff was very kind and super helpful, the service was fast and attentive. If you are in the area, you can't miss it try it! Highly recommended!

20/05/2025: I think the average review of this place is too high, 4.3 out of 5. I have nothing against it but sometimes you should be criticized to go back to rolling up your sleeves and working well. Nothing to do with Ceraolo 10 or 20 years ago. This morning I went to get 2 margherita pizzas and 3 maritozzi. All (and I mean all) of the products were burnt on the edges and underneath. The pizzas only had a small piece of cheese in the center and were clearly from days ago. But to add insult to injury, you paid €2 each. The maritozzi were also clearly from days ago. In short, classic products that you only eat because you are starving or because you are in a hospital bed. Now I don't want to start talking about other products and their prices, otherwise the review would never end, but I still think that we should lower our heads and roll up our sleeves.

27/04/2025: Never again rustic, gastritis all night!! the rustic were all soaked in oil and you could feel that it was old....not to mention the exaggerated price for the very poor quality....

31/05/2025: Very good food but, the staff very rude, we asked for a mixed fried food and they told us that it would arrive soon... but after 20 minutes when we ask about this order, the annoyed waiter replies that we had to order from him and not from others! Definitely a place not to go back.

12/04/2025: Mi servo abitualmente in questo panificio. Pane sempre fresco e ottimo come anche la focaccia a me piace in modo particolare quella tradizionale. Personale sempre gentile e cortese pronto a soddisfare l esigenze del cliente.

24/04/2025: I came across this place by chance, with its welcoming environment and staff. Not knowing the dishes, we opted for the tasting menu for 2 people, but even 3 can eat easily. As a second course, a horse fillet accompanied by rocket, cherry tomatoes and fried potatoes. The pizzas have good dough. Positive experience, I recommend the place!

22/04/2025: A restaurant with good food and great service, perfect for dinner, large selection of pizzas, seasoned steaks are also available. Service 5*+ The boss behind the bar is always willing to help, I recommend it

05/06/2025: The waiters were incredibly unfriendly. We were approached by a waiter and said we only wanted an Aperol. When we ordered it and said we didn't want anything else, the behavior was immediately very unfriendly and rude. We might have decided to eat something there. The tables were so wobbly that we almost spilled the Aperol, and the food probably spilled all over the table. So please don't invite customers in if they just want a drink.

08/06/2025: All good, in keeping with the tradition of Messina rotisserie. Excellent focaccia with anchovies and arancini. To complete the evening, delicious croissants of excellent artisanal workmanship (not frozen).

08/06/2025: Typical Neapolitan cartwheel pizza, quality ingredients. Excellent! Traditional Messina Pidone delicious, flaky and crunchy, gourmet pistachio arancino!!!

15/04/2025: I ordered a coffee and a sandwich, the coffee arrived and 20 minutes later the sandwich, feta bread with ham for 4 euros and a cold cappuccino, it seems like Amsterdam but it is this ortho town. Not tourists. I do not use, I do not recommend, it will be good.

30/05/2025: We deliberately chose a fish restaurant that advertised regional specialties and, unfortunately, wasn't by the sea. The location, right next to the express train, wasn't particularly inviting! My husband ordered the house wine, two appetizers, and the fish from the daily special. The wine glasses were still on the table when the carafe of house wine was placed in front of us. Guests serve themselves here! Then the fries arrived on a plate with a paper napkin, waiting for the fish. Grilled fish, flaky, lukewarm, and old, so that after two bites, we were served by a bland, musty taste. The chef himself confirmed to us that the fish is exactly how it's eaten here, and after all, it is a specialty restaurant! We just wanted to leave and waited for the bill. And we were quite surprised that the chef hadn't charged us for the fish after all! We were literally served!!

19/05/2025: It's always a shame to review a place you've returned to several times, even if you've noticed a trend toward worsening. The last experience was disappointing to say the least, with decidedly high prices in relation to the quantity served, especially for the scampi first course (it must have been about sixty grams of pasta, if you're being generous). As for the quality of the dishes, it's a matter of personal preference and so I don't want to objectify, even if in my opinion the clam first course was unrelated and therefore not very tasty. It's a different story for the ingredients, where it's a shame to notice an industrial syrup in a dessert that was defined as artisanal and entirely produced by the restaurant. Slightly high price for the products served, good mussel soup and pleasant house wine.
