The restaurant is located in a small alley perpendicular to the main shopping street. Once seated, the view is magnificent. The welcome and service are impeccable, and the pizzas were delicious. The prices are in line with Taormina standards.

Great restaurant . Hidden away with lovely balcony and views to the see . Food very good .. some traditional Sicilian items away from the pizza / pasta norms … a calm oasis .. definitely recommend. Lovely staff too 🤩🤩.

Anyone who hears the name Taormina inevitably thinks of picturesque Sicily, ancient theaters, and blissful idleness. The Ristorante Pizzeria Taormina captures this very spirit and looks back on a long tradition where recipes seem to have been guarded by Nonna herself. Instead of cold, modern design experiments, the focus here is on pure, cozy rusticity. In summer, the restaurant unfolds its full magic when the roof opens, revealing a view of the beach – an absolute dream for any romantic. I had the pleasure of visiting the restaurant outside of peak season. Reservations are hardly necessary at this time; you can simply drop in. Only when things get really busy in summer is a reservation absolutely essential. Without the usual tourist crowds, the clientele was a delightful mix of curious vacationers and seasoned locals – the latter, as everyone knows, being the hallmark of any truly authentic Italian restaurant. From a culinary perspective, the journey got off to a fantastic start: The octopus appetizer was incredibly tender and simply delicious – an absolute dream on the plate, proving that the kitchen truly understands its craft. The experience continued at the same high level, as the pasta here is also absolutely divine. The truffle pasta, in particular, deserves a standing ovation; it was technically perfect and bursting with flavor. I can't comment on the pizza, as my stomach gave up after the pasta, but the restaurant employs its own pizza chef. This clearly demonstrates that they take pizza making very seriously. To be honest, the dessert was just okay and didn't exactly set my palate on fire, but it rounded off the evening nicely. For those who want to skip the excellent wine list and prefer tart drinks, I highly recommend the Etna Spritz – a bittersweet taste sensation that does justice to the famous volcano. I can't comment on the pizza, as my stomach was full of pasta, but the restaurant does it justice. To be honest, the prices here are definitely on the high end and reflect the exclusive location. However, since the service is extremely friendly, attentive, and charming, you ultimately pay the price for this Sicilian getaway with a smile. If you want to leave the wonderful crew a well-deserved tip, be sure to bring cash. The terminal is currently stubbornly refusing to process tips via credit card. Typical Italian – stubborn in character!

Great view, only to be surpassed by an excellent meal. Wife enjoyed the eggplant ravioli, and I had the steak. Will come back to Taormina and eat here multiple times next time. Should be multiple Michelin stars!!!

It's been a while since we visited RISTORANTE TAORMINA PIZZERIA. I have wonderful memories of the restaurant; it's a hidden gem. RISTORANTE TAORMINA PIZZERIA is beautifully situated, with a breathtaking view of the coast from the terrace. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious.

Unexpected beautiful coastal view, entrance tucked away on Vico Teofane Cerameo. Pizza was great but other options are also on the menu. Visited on a late June afternoon and immediately got a table without a reservation and service was friendly and mostly attentive.
