07/11/2025: This is a gem of a place on the Main Street in Taormina. Lovely cozy bar atmosphere, with great ambient music. We went on a rainy evening and it was the perfect place to escape the weather. They offer a wonderful selection of cocktails, and light food. We were six people, and had 2 very nicely arranged cheese and charcuterie platters, and two pizzas, and the portions were generous enough that we had enough food for dinner. The wait staff were friendly and anxious to please. We would definitely recommend.

05/11/2025: Fine for a quick high priced drink, but the bartender special cocktail was overly sweet and they served prosecco in a regular wine glass than a sparkling wine glass. They never checked on us once.

27/10/2025: A fantastic experience. Let's start with the journey: fairytale landscapes that I was able to enjoy while riding my motorbike. Once we arrived at the property, the view didn't get any worse, and we were welcomed by the owners, who from the very first moment made sure that I didn't want for anything. I truly felt at a friend's house, but within a highly professional setting. In fact, the cuisine, also exceptional, offered me one of the best culinary experiences I've had on my trip, and probably the best value for money in my personal experience. In short, how could I not return, especially during mushroom season? Another notable gem is a spa within the property that the owners reserve for guests by reservation, leaving them free to enjoy it with whoever they want for two and a half hours without being disturbed. It also includes a relaxation area with herbal teas and cocktail and dessert service upon request. In short, I'm reluctant to leave this place, but I'll definitely be back.

19/09/2025: Tasty but overpriced food in an unfortunate setting. You're sitting on top of a main avenue and the noise/exhaust from constant traffic (mostly motorcycels, and buses) makes eating here a literal headache. Small portions and a 4 euro cover per person make this an terrible value despite the quality of the food.

The restaurant’s design is elegant yet cozy, blending modern style with classic Sicilian charm. The patio offers a truly unique panoramic view of the town and the sea, especially stunning at sunset. Dining here feels like an experience rather than just a meal, excellent service, relaxing atmosphere, and unforgettable scenery. Whether you’re visiting for a romantic dinner or a casual lunch, Le Orologio delivers perfection in taste, ambiance, and view. Definitely one of the must-visit spots in the area!

14/10/2025: My mother and I arrived here. We had planned to eat, but we decided to have a glass of wine. So we asked for the menu and ended up giving it back because we only wanted a glass of wine. A grumpy face immediately appeared. Well, we just accepted that until the bill finally arrived. €20 for two glasses of house wine. How badly can you get ripped off? I'd say if you only want a drink, go somewhere else quickly, because they'll rip you off right here.

11/09/2025: The owner is friendly, calm, and knowledgeable. The food is good, very tasty, with strong, bold flavors. The service is fast. The restaurant is located in the city center, just steps from Messina's Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. You can dine inside or outside on the sidewalk in front of the entrance.

07/10/2025: Ate at this restaurant several times during the week and ordered pizza to take away - the Brontese pistachio pizza is the best pizza I have ever had! Very pleasant service. Sicily is great, incredible people 😍

18/08/2025: The restaurant's location is beautiful, as it's the only one on that side of the island, very close to Zimmari Cove. The pros end there. MENU: Nothing exceptional, but not bad either. Many cold dishes and a few first courses are priced above the Panarea standard, which is already expensive (a €5 cover charge without bread, which they only brought at our request). LOCATION: Excellent view, although there are definitely better options in Panarea. SERVICE: The young man (I think he's a seasonal worker) was very attentive and friendly. The owner and right-hand man were much less so. PRICE: In line with what Panarea offers, perhaps a tad higher. Other restaurants at this price point, however, offer much more. A heartfelt recommendation from someone who's been coming to Panarea for a long time: if you're docking at Zimmari and arriving by tender, take a few extra steps to the port. You can find much better.

17/10/2025: Bread made with Tumminia flour is truly a treat. Even eaten two days later, it remains incredibly soft. What more can I say? Highly recommended, also for the excellent Messina focaccia.
