23/07/2024: Non vi è alcun'ombra di dubbio, la più buona pizza che si possa gustare nella provincia di Messina è solo da Acqua e Farina a Milazzo. Non appena assaporate l'inebriante fragranza degli impasti, uniti a un' incantevole combinazione di ingredienti tutti freschi e di altissima qualità, vi renderete conto che quello con questa pizza sarà un amore a primo morso. Impasti studiati e curati nei minimi dettagli con metodo scientifico, con farine grezze, alta idratazione e con ampi tempi di maturazione e fermentazione,rendono la pizza di una leggerezza e digeribilità uniche che ne viene voglia di mangiarne un' altra dopo la prima. Il cornicione non è decisamente pronunciato nella ormai assodata forma " a canotto" della diversamente napoletana, ma se ne apprezza la consistenza ed il suo sapore. Da provare, come antipasto, le caratteristiche "bombette" e i "sospiri", un leggerissimo impasto dolciastro di pizza fritta, farcito con cotto/ crudo/ bufala/burrata. 03/08/2024: Elegante ristorante nella parte alta del borgo. Servizio curato e non invadente . Ottimo cibo e pesce fresco scelto con cura. Grandi crudi e piatti di qualita' Eccellenti per noi siamo i primi e i secondi. Solo un piccolo appunto per il quale nn ho dato l eccellenza : se il tappo del vino si rompe ,anche nn rilasciando sughero nell interno, in un posto così di livello si cambia la bottiglia.

30/06/2024: We wanted to try some nice seafood dishes, and as we stumbled upon this restaurant when we strolled around the castle in Milazzo, we decided to give it a chance. It's a fine dining restaurant, and even though we didn't have a reservation the staff let us in. Great food, great wine, great service. Everything was fine and delicious.

11/08/2024: Meraviglioso! Vista con tramonto spettacolare, personale gentilissimo, tutto perfetto. Antipasti, primi e secondi tutti da ricordare. Tappa obbligata quando torneremo a Lipari!

08/08/2024: Frequento le isole Eolie da decenni e, mediamente, non ci sono ristoranti particolarmente interessanti. Ma il ristorante Al Tramonto, in località Acqua Calda a Lipari è stato più che una splendida sorpresa! Rarissimamente abbiamo mangiato pesce VERAMENTE freschissimo. Qui l'abbiamo trovato. Il personale è cordiale ma non invadente. Il servizio più che soddisfacente. La location in terrazza panoramica fa il resto. Da non perdere. Indispensabile la prenotazione, anche se c'è la massima ddisponibilità ad accogliere, anche all'ultimo momento. Complimenti!!!!

27/07/2024: I spent 3 nights with my family, we had a great time. Room, swimming pool, play area, parking, breakfast, everything 💯, not to mention the kindness and helpfulness of the owners and employees. Congratulations!!!

25/07/2024: We stayed at the Borgo San Francesco in the first two weeks of July. It was fantastic, we loved it there. We are a family of 5, kids 17,14 and 12. Beautiful grounds, lovely duplex room, nice pool. Breakfast if you want it was very nice and not expensive. We had dinner at the Borgo only a couple times, good quality but we preferred to go out. The Borgo staff are great, very helpful, and we loved the area and the nearby town, Gioiosa Marea, where we often went to eat dinner, walk around and have a gelato. Nice bakery at the bottom of the hill and two wineries also walking distance. Very nice supermarket only 5 minutes away by car. We would definitely recommend staying here.
