Everything is excellent, a wonderful discovery, and you'll finish your meal very late. Take your time to savor everything that's offered.

06/07/2026: There was a man sitting nearby having a video call with a prostitute on his phone. Our group was shocked and told our waiter, Carmelo, that this was completely unacceptable. He immediately handled the situation by moving the man a few meters away, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, the food was very good, and Carmelo was an incredibly entertaining, warm, and generous waiter. He managed to turn around the atmosphere after the shameless behavior of that man and made it possible for us to enjoy the rest of our visit. Thank you, Carmelo—you are the best!

13/07/2026: What a wonderful find on Via Risorgimento. We dined here last night and were truly impressed by the quality of the ingredients. The pizzas are excellent, with a beautifully airy crust and perfectly cooked. We loved the freshness of the olives and cherry tomatoes, which made everything exquisite. Even the dessert to finish, a dome garnished with a drizzle of chocolate and a dusting of cocoa, rounded out the evening beautifully. We'll definitely be back.

12/07/2026: I recommend this pizzeria if you want to eat pizza and feel at home. The owners and staff are friendly, helpful, and ready to please. Exceptional pizzas with quality ingredients. The gluten-free pizza is also excellent, with careful attention to cross-contamination. Delicious desserts made in-house. Highly recommended for excellent pizza.

09/07/2026: We are true gelato lovers, and during our stay on Sicily we made it our mission to try as many gelato shops as possible along the entire east coast. We even visited the famous award-winning gelaterias in Taormina. But without any doubt, Ice Go-Go is the absolute winner. The gelato here is simply exceptional. Every flavor tastes pure and authentic, never overly sweet, allowing the natural ingredients to shine. Even the waffle cones are delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The owner is incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about his gelato. The shop itself is spotless and impeccably clean. Although Ice Go-Go is slightly off the main tourist route, it is absolutely worth making the trip. If you’re anywhere near Giardini Naxos, don’t miss it. I’m quite sure that after your first visit, you’ll keep coming back for more. Our personal favorites are the Nocciola and Mandarino—both are absolutely delicious. Another big advantage is that they’re open every day from early morning until well after midnight, so there’s always a perfect moment to enjoy an amazing gelato. Highly, highly recommended!

02/07/2026: I'm a regular at this restaurant, and I must say the quality of the products is truly remarkable, from the appetizers to the meat and desserts. The service is excellent, especially from the Venezuelan woman, who is always smiling, cheerful, and very professional. The restaurant has an outdoor gazebo, a quiet space ideal for summer evenings.

13/06/2026: I've never had slower service. Waiter was inadequate, the least to say, messed our order and made us wait for 2hs for 3 main dishes and 2 appetizers. I confronted him more than once and just couldn't wait one more hour for the desserts. He also lied about moving us to the balcony at some point, mind u we were there for 2 hours! Food was average.

13/06/2026: The place is nice, but they try to make it seem elegant with plastic bottles and paper napkins, and they charge you for cutlery. The only food worth it is the expensive stuff; I had the ragù (Bolognese), the meat was dry, and the supposedly "fresh pasta" wasn't all that fresh. The waiter was a bit arrogant; the only decent one was the younger one. And finally, DO NOT order the pistachio shot.

07/07/2026: Our family reunion brought 35 of us from the USA to Giardini Naxos, and La Spelonca Restaurant could not have been a better choice for our welcome dinner. A very special thank you to Chef Cristian, who was incredible to work with throughout the planning process. Since we were traveling from the U.S., I wanted to offer our family a true taste of Sicily. Chef Cristian thoughtfully created a fixed-price menu featuring wonderful local specialties, then happily worked with me to customize it until it was exactly what we envisioned. Every course was outstanding. The food was fresh, authentic, beautifully prepared, and gave our group the opportunity to experience many traditional Sicilian dishes. Our servers were warm, patient, and incredibly accommodating, making such a large gathering feel effortless. They also arranged the perfect space for our celebration. If you’re planning a large group event, I highly recommend La Spelonca. Just organize it in advance, and you’re in excellent hands. The best part? A few days later, just the four of us returned for dinner, and the experience was every bit as exceptional. The food, service, and hospitality were just as memorable. Our favorites: caponata, eggplant cannolini, seafood salad, red shrimp ( first time having them) and a must try the Pistachio cream pasta!! For dessert, cassata, cannoli and tiramisu. Thank you to Chef Cristian, his wife Irena & Mario and the entire team for helping make the beginning of our Sicilian adventure so special. We can’t recommend La Spelonca highly enough. It is an absolute must-visit when you’re in Giardini Naxos or Taormina which is just a short taxi ride away! Grazie Mille Chef. Ti aspettiamo in Arizona!

16/05/2026: It was recommended by our local host, Isabella. Casa Niclodi was easily the best meal of our entire trip—we’re still talking about it days later. Every dish was incredible, and you can really feel the care behind the food. The service made it even better—so warm, genuine, and attentive without being over the top. It just felt special from start to finish. Don’t miss this place.
