29/07/2025: Had the best food here in Giardini Naxos. The servers are very nice and know what they’re talking about. I loved the vibe of the restaurant. The food was amazing. The antipasti, pastas and the fish were so fresh. The wine was great too. They also sell all the wines they serve. We were also surprised by a band that suddenly performed in the restaurant.

29/07/2025: It is recommended to book a table in advance. We waited 2 days. The food is authentic and simply served at reasonable prices. Very tasty. The one waiter - perhaps the owner - was a whirlwind who created a hectic atmosphere rather than a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. His working style contributed to the overall experience.

20/07/2025: Recommended little place... a perfect choice... the village is a gem on top of a hill from which you can see a breathtaking view... the food is special and not at all predictable, meat that melts in your mouth... compliments to Fabrizio but above all to Mr. Pippo who knew how to entertain us with some pearls of his life without being at all intrusive... excellent host... we highly recommend the place because it deserves it... a hug from his friend Naso :)

19/07/2025: This was a unique a one of a kind experience - the place itself has absolutely wonderful atmosphere, nested within the beautiful historical town's center - but what made the experience truly special was a presence of the owner himself, who sat by our table and talked to us, making sure that we had everything we needed and just chatting with us about life. The service was very professional, the food was exquisite and we felt very welcomed and cozy during our time spent there. We will definitely come back again and I would wholeheartedly recommend everyone visiting Sicily to stop by in San Marco d'Alunzio to visit this restaurant. Unforgettable experience, thank you! :)

16/07/2025: “Spaghetti al sugo di nero di seppia” is the best I ever tried as a half-Italian. Ocean views, cool air from the sea and easy service.

13/07/2025: There were three of us, I can't help but rave about it, the food was excellent, the mussels were well-prepared and in good quantity, the swordfish cutlet was different from other places, served with baked potatoes and sauces available, I would go back right away.

08/06/2025: The BEST pistachio ice cream we ever had in our life. And I don't even like pistachio that much 😁 Everything else is also super delicious. It's a must-go when you visit Taormina...or even when you visit Sicily 😀

08/06/2025: Hermoso establecimiento. Hermosa pastelería. Lástima que el personal amontonó todo el mazapán encima de la bandeja llena de pasteles hermosos caros que traje en la bolsa para que fueran destruidos. Tristes como se veían hermosos, pero era una bandeja de desorden aplastado. Ahora al personal. TOTALMENTE DECEPCIONANTE. Rude y yo podemos hablar un poco de italiano, pero para ser burlados por las dos mujeres detrás del mostrador por una ligera mala pronunciación. Inaceptable y fuera de lugar para los turistas. Soy jefe de cocina y he trabajado en hostelería durante años, es una pena que el personal defraudara este establecimiento.

03/06/2025: Arriving at this place is like feeling at home, the environment is familiar as is the welcome, the staff is polite, patient and helpful... Added value is the little shop where Mrs. Luciana offers local products and especially her preparations jams syrups caponata.. We ate some appetizers that represent the territory, the pepper and aubergine rolls perhaps too small (aubergine and pepper) appear to be little present compared to the filling as well as the olives The fried stuffed egg is surprising, the cheeses and jams that accompany the fresh ricotta just warm are excellent... Quick but not very descriptive of what was brought to the table (I did not understand what a sweet and sour dish was, perhaps meat!?) The first courses were very generous and well thought out, but the risotto had a bitter taste (perhaps the hazelnuts were too toasted!?) The macaroni alla norma were good The busiate (they were not the pasta shape they were the twins....), full flavor, but no burrata (maybe finished....) and it was replaced by mozzarella, and it doesn't make the dish enveloping and blended like burrata can give... They manage to have many seats, maybe you can give up a few tables and be more excellent (they have all the potential) Quality and price appreciable right Coffee in a cup "hurray!" In many places they serve coffee on paper😆 I'll have to come back to taste the second courses...

07/06/2025: Nowadays, finding a dish that surprises you and makes you discover totally new flavors is definitely not easy. For this I am grateful to the chef. For example, I think that the spaghettoni with anemones and sea urchins can only be tasted here and it is really worth it! And in any case, all the dishes are prepared with care and attention to the raw materials. Just to give an example, for each dish the oil with which it is prepared is mentioned!

01/06/2025: Excellent. I don’t have a lot to say but this: The service is exceptional, the chief comes to present you your dishes, and everyone is nice. When it comes to the food, it’s simply amazing. And for the place itself, it’s decorated with taste and the place is calm.

03/06/2025: The restaurant offers delicious food and well-crafted drinks, all set in a lovely location that’s great for a relaxed outing. The service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. However, the strong floral scent in the space was a bit overwhelming and clashed with the enjoyment of the food. Despite that, it was an overall pleasant experience and worth a visit.

30/05/2025: This is a perfect place to make a stop and have a beverage. Cannot tell about food since we only had coffee. However, the view and the ambiance is very nice.

02/07/2025: Le Naumachie is one of the best places to eat in Taormina. Situated next to the remains of one of the most historic corners of Taormina (the Naumachia building), it is atmospheric and majestic. The restaurant’s chef offers his guests tasteful and stunning dishes, beautifully presented, equivalent to those of a Michelin * restaurant. In between each course, you are offered a (complimentary) amuse bouche, each one of them being a true state of the art! They have an excellent wine list, for every purse, starting from a fairly low price/bottle and raising up to thousands of euros/bottle, should you feel spendy 😊 (this is not to be considered as a drawback, though, since one can pick one of the value-for-money wines they offer at lower prices)! The restaurant has surely invested well and wise on their service, which was excellent -relaxed and friendly, as another client suggested- and always ready to discuss their menu options and offer analytical details about everything (including the site’s history 😊). The signora at the entrance (I believe the owner’s mother) invites you at the restaurant as if you were back home! We will surely enjoy another dinner at this fantastic restaurant, when we return to Taormina, and enjoy an even better bottle of wine (or even two), something that we weren’t able to do this time, since we had an almost 2-hour drive back to Siracusa and drinking and driving is not advisable! The price range below included a value-for-money bottle of wine, two starters and two main courses.

25/07/2025: Highly recommended! As soon as I disembarked, I found this pastry shop just steps from the port. I bought two cannoli and a granita, both delicious. The delicious treats were complemented by the cheerful and kind staff.
