I migliori ristoranti in Messina

06/08/2024: Nothing different from all the cannoli I can find in any Italian pastry shop. I also asked why there is sheep's ricotta in August (which is actually impossible as it is produced in the winter/spring periods). I was told that their ricotta is only fresh. After a bit of chatting I was told that the milk is frozen so in my opinion it couldn't be defined as fresh! A piece of advice if you want a cannoli made with fresh sheep's ricotta, go there in cold periods!

29/07/2024: La prima affermazione detta quando siamo usciti dal negozio è stata: “che bella persona”. Il signor Roberto (al pari dei suoi figli) è assolutamente l’esempio migliore di come dovrebbe comportarsi un commerciante. Super ospitale, umile e chiacchierone, ci ha fatto assaggiare di tutto e di più dei suoi prodotti gratuitamente, e devo dire che erano tutti spettacolari. Se cercate il classico luogo turistico in cui consumare prodotti mediocri a prezzi elevatissimi, lontani da Roberto: lui ha a cuore la tradizione, la qualità, la bontà ed i prezzi giusti di ciò che vende. Assolutamente da provare se passate per Taormina, a mani basse il migliore.

15/07/2024: Seasoned bread and focaccia excellent for toppings and cooking!! I particularly liked the rustic environment which takes you back to a period in which simplicity and goodness were a perfect combination. Well done Nino👏👏

05/07/2024: The atmosphere of this place is indescribable. The owner plays the guitar and creates a wonderful aura of this place. Smiling waitresses and beautiful views. It's worth taking a look at them.

26/07/2024: Simply wonderful experience. First of all it felt like we were at home, in a truly familiar environment. The impeccable service, the excellent quality buffet starter, and the first course simply magnificent with the tagliatelle handmade by the owner and the freshest courgette flowers. We finished with an exceptional homemade liqueur and biscuits always made by the lady; finally the absolutely low bill for the quality of the raw materials used. From now on when we pass through Messina, it will be our obligatory stop +++++ 🤩😊

11/08/2024: Enchanting location, with terrace overlooking the Gulf of Taormina. Truly excellent quality food, generous portions, prices not exactly within everyone's reach but commensurate with the quality. Friendly staff. Although it is difficult to reach and there is no parking except in the streets below, it is absolutely worth it!

10/08/2024: Less than one star, very rude staff, no vegan options on the menu and very salty and expensive pizza. I will never go there again.

09/08/2024: We were visiting a friend and he took us to Giannino, the staff was very courteous, we were really at ease. The place is very nice but the cuisine is what enchanted us. We hope to return soon

05/08/2024: A trattoria at its best. The Antipasto di mare is a taste explosion with lots of small bites. The Maccheroni alla norma is simply fantastic. The service was excellent.

29/08/2024: Sono stata stasera a cena con mio marito e i nostri due bambini. Abbiamo cenato divinamente: le portate sono abbondanti ma mangi tutto con molto appetito. Veloci nell' ordinazione e dopo pochi minuti si viene serviti ...personale cortese, locale accogliente e cibo veramente buono.

30/08/2024: During our holiday in Lipari, we decided to try this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised, in fact we returned before leaving. We tried different courses, starting from the chef's seafood appetizer, then seared tuna in a pistachio crust, caponata, swordfish rolls, spaghetti with sardines, stuffed anchovies, octopus salad and finally the inevitable cannoli! All really very good. Possibility of seating both inside and outside, fair prices for the quality offered! Very friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend

22/08/2024: We called to book a last minute dinner. They proved to be very kind and very helpful. Once we arrived at the restaurant, our point of reference was Alessia who made us enjoy one of the best dinners in the Aeolian Islands. Very fresh fish. Well-selected wine and cuisine that adapts to customer needs! Absolutely recommended!

17/08/2024: Always a guarantee for an exquisite dinner, from the first course to the dessert or the Malvasia... very fresh fish, attention to every detail, fast, kind and friendly service, you feel at home. An obligatory stop several times during the Strombola holiday, it always remains our favorite restaurant on the island ❤️

20/08/2024: Unmissable experience! Restaurant with a retro feel, a beautiful view of the Nebrodi. But the food is the real highlight! Incredibly generous portions, sensational homemade pasta! All at a price that really left us speechless, perhaps even too low for the incredible quality! If you are looking for a place where you can eat very well and spend very little, I don't think you could find anything better anywhere else!

18/08/2024: I'll just say that coming here I felt great! As soon as we entered the waitresses welcomed us in a pleasant way and are also very nice. The food was spectacular, delicious and above all not abundant (especially the red prawn risotto and the squid ink arancino 😋). The setting was gorgeous but I recommend putting a bit of a marine theme outside, while for the rest, it was spectacular! Go there

14/08/2024: But how well do you eat at Non solo pizza!!! Very nice atmosphere, excellent quality of food and lots and lots of courtesy. We didn't eat pizza, but we opted for first courses (excellent and plentiful), a platter with local cured meats and cheeses and a very good caponata. We will definitely return to try the pizzas. Highly recommended!
