12/05/2025: The food was very tasty. I had "Pasta Norma" as a main course and the tomato sauce and eggplant were very good! We were served very friendly and felt comfortable.

31/05/2025: We really enjoyed visiting La Caravella while on holiday in Taormina. Our hotel recommended it to us and arranged for their shuttle to come and collect us. This was great as we later found out that taxis to go down the hill from La Taormina are extremely expensive. We were very warmly greeted and offered a pick of sun loungers. This excellent service continued all day, with the waiters and beach boys quick to offer any help or service you required. The beach is stony with small pebbles so bring water shoes or flip flops. This place is clean and well maintained but does not have the glossy chic ( or cost!) of some fancy beach bars which are perhaps for younger people more interested in a party vibe, but the service and atmosphere were exactly what we were looking for. A great team of people supervised by a hands-on, friendly proprietor. The highlight of the day was the food. Julio recommended the daily specials on both of our visits, and both were outstanding. They have a very talented chef for sure. I have never tasted tuna steak so moist and flavoursome. The pasta with fresh anchovies prepared Sicilian style was also delicious. There are also much plainer offerings on the menu. The shuttle bus returned us to our hotel at the end of the day. Thoroughly enjoyable day and I highly recommend.

07/04/2025: Innanzitutto un consiglio: visto che il posto è fuori mano, e probabilmente dovrete utilizzare il navigatore, NON inserite subito l’indirizzo di destinazione perché vi farebbe fare il giro delle montagne; meglio arrivare a Tripi e poi inserirlo (dista solo 5 minuti). E veniamo al ristorante. Accoglienza calda, servizio veloce, ambiente semplice ma funzionale. Per quanto riguarda le pietanze, posso commentare solo l’antipasto perché l’unico primo e secondo che c’erano non erano di mio gradimento e abbiamo optato per un’insalata. Bene, antipasto squisito! Ogni “pezzo”, dal piatto freddi di formaggi con marmellatine fate in casa, alla sfoglia ai funghi, alle polpettine con cipolla fino ad arrivare ad un delizioso pitoncino erano fatti con maestria e gusto. Brava chi ha cucinato tali delizie e arrivederci alla prossima volta.

Particolare apprezzamento per il primo, una pasta con gambero rosso, cozze, vongole e calamari la fine del mondo.. Dio salvi la signora, il valore aggiunto

03/06/2025: Although there are 21 varieties on the menu, they offer certain varieties according to the season, and naturally the fruit flavors are very nice. We tried Strawberry-Bitter Almond and Coffee-Bitter Almond. It tastes like sorbet, very nice, but for my taste it is more of a dessert in the afternoon than a breakfast. I will come again. The ambiance and communication of the staff are very nice.

02/06/2025: Lo storico BamBar e le sue granite top!!! È la mecca della granita.. mandorla..fragola..di tutto e..la fila di attesa è piu che giustificata. Personale gentilissimo. Qualità top. È la tappa d obbligo a taormina. Vivamente consigliato.

11/03/2025: We have just been to this place for an aperitif. Impeccable service, fast and punctual. Cocktails of the most varied and food beyond expectations. Also super appreciated that the cutting boards were separated per person. The mixed fried food is a little too expensive but highly recommended!

30/05/2025: After our week-long sailing trip, we finally ended up at Ristorante Jessica. It was the highlight of our entire vacation. Excellent seafood and fish dishes. Extremely attentive staff and a very personable chef. Truly worth a visit! Despite the very high quality, the prices are reasonable, and the location right on the beach is sensational.

16/05/2025: Best Restaurant I have ever been too. The cook is absolutely delightful and serves with deserved confidence the most authentic and delicious dishes I have had. He asked me and my girlfriend if we had any allergies and after telling him that I have celiac disease he perfectly handled it. He can cook perfect gluten free dishes. In my opinion this restaurant is worth the whole trip (3 Michelin Stars)!
