04/04/2026: A springtime outing, we finished visiting the castle and found ourselves hungry around 3 pm... One of the few places open at that hour, we sat down without the usual hassle of reading Google reviews. We've never made a happier choice! The very kind owner welcomes us and we enjoy an excellent pani cunzatu, bursting with truly delicious ingredients. Fair prices. A must-try!

25/02/2026: Amazing cocktails! Courtesy, friendliness, and customer care! Good food, great prices, friendly atmosphere... I recommend it to everyone, from breakfast to aperitif... Excellent lunches and a great evening cocktail bar.

01/01/2026: A memorable December 31st: we ate outside even though it was raining, warmed by blankets, the fire, and above all by the attentive staff who pampered us until the very end. Jacqueline was an excellent hostess.

21/12/2025: What an experience ! Fantastic apetizer (sardinas fried to perfection with a simple home made mayonaise) and ensalata de bacalao with grapefruit and olives. My taste sense just exploded. Luckily there was a glass of the finest sauvignon to help getting back to earth 🙈😇. Delicious it was. Thank you very much.

27/10/2025: Chance stop for lunch. Pizza square for lunch . Amazing. Brown dough with hand picked olives personally preserved by the owner. Best pizza I have had in Italy. Great cappuccino (no long life milk at this cafe) Friendly owner who suggested the almond granita with pistachio gelato. Perfect combination and so good. We even had a second cappuccino with the dessert. Thanks for such a kind welcome and a wonderful experience. Best culinary surprise of our trip.

02/05/2026: In a seaside location, you'll find fresh fish, an excellent lunch, delicious appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The service is also excellent. The owner's welcome is warm...we'll definitely be back and I highly recommend it. Congratulations!!!!!

04/05/2026: We had a wonderful lunch at Ritrovo La Macina during our trip through the Nebrodi mountains — and it truly felt like discovering a hidden gem. Pippo welcomes every guest personally and makes you feel immediately at home. He took the time to recommend a menu for us — and it was perfectly curated from start to finish. We enjoyed a variety of local antipasti, followed by pasta with mushrooms, and as a main course the famous black Nebrodi pig — a true regional specialty. The food was exactly what we were hoping for: authentic, honest, and full of flavor. Every dish tasted homemade, using high-quality local ingredients and traditional Sicilian recipes. There is no unnecessary sophistication here — just real, typical Sicilian cuisine prepared with care and passion. Combined with the charming atmosphere and the beautiful setting of San Marco d’Alunzio, it made for a truly memorable experience. We would come back anytime — and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic taste of Sicily.

03/05/2026: In the heart of the jewel of San Marco D'Alunzio, we discovered La Macina. A down-to-earth cuisine made with ancient flavors and local ingredients. My daughter, while eating her pasta, exclaimed, "The tomato sauce is better than grandma's!" We'll definitely be back!

10/05/2026: What an incredible hotel. If I go back to Taormina, we'll be staying there again. Our room had incredible views; the buffet breakfast was delicious, so much on offer! And the rooftop bar was just stunning. And the staff were amazing and so friendly. Could not recommend more!

16/04/2026: If I could give 6 stars I would. We have travelled a lot and this hotel is a dream of an experience. We stayed in room 105 with a balcony and panoramic view. Everything is delicious and of high quality and breakfast is served on the 6th floor where there is also a rooftop bar in the afternoon and evening. Located within walking distance of all the best in Taormina. Perfect for couples.

07/04/2026: Bam Bar is definitely worth the hype! There was a queue when we arrived, but it moved surprisingly fast, so don’t let that put you off. The place itself is beautiful, with an authentic and very special design that makes it feel unique and full of character — you can really feel the charm of Taormina. The granita was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and you can taste the quality in every bite. The atmosphere is lively and fun, and it’s easy to see why it was featured in The White Lotus.
