22/03/2025: I celebrated my graduation here, a place that takes your breath away thanks to its garden overlooking the sea. What can I say, it was a successful evening! Everything was perfect, Villa Garbo is a jewel by the sea, I received a lot of compliments from my friends from the north who came for the occasion. Thanks to all the staff for making everything perfect! I'll be back soon.

30/09/2025: I regretfully begin by saying that, despite being a chef accustomed to working in Michelin-starred restaurants, my experience at I Ruggeri restaurant last night was extremely disappointing. We ordered two tartares: one tuna and one albacore tuna with sun-dried tomatoes. The tuna tartare was decent; the other, however, had an unpleasant odor and, upon tasting, was fizzy and acidic, a typical sign of spoiled fish. When we pointed this out, the waiter dismissed the issue, claiming the flavor was due to the sun-dried tomatoes, ignoring the real issue related to the quality of the fish. At their suggestion, we replaced the dish with a sea bass tartare, which, however, turned out to be equally slimy and spoiled. When we pointed this out again, the waiter, in an almost arrogant tone, told us he would have the dish tasted in the kitchen. Shortly afterward, as I was going to the bathroom, I clearly heard shouts coming from the kitchen: "If something isn't good, you shouldn't take it out." Returning to the table, I noticed that a customer next to us had ordered the same sea bass tartare and, upon first bite, was having trouble swallowing it. Through all this, neither the wait staff nor the owner bothered to apologize, preferring to pretend nothing had happened and bring the previously ordered entrees. Unfortunately, the quality was also terrible: the mezze maniche with basil pesto and clams was full of sand, forcing me to discard the clams, while the seafood carbonara was too al dente and had curdled egg. We finished with a pistachio truffle that tasted more like almond than pistachio, and a tiramisu. A negative experience from every perspective: I absolutely do not recommend this place, both for the food and for the staff's total lack of professionalism.

28/09/2025: While passing through Messina, we stopped at this restaurant for lunch. The food is good, the presentation is meticulous. We were treated to an appetizer worthy of a gourmet restaurant. At first, the service was good, but as the customers arrived, even though the owner had helped out, things started to drag...

22/09/2025: Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Spent two days here and enjoyed both of those days. Drinks were good food was amazing.

15/09/2025: Very beautiful beach, the water is clean. We were there as early as 9 a.m., and it wasn't very busy. For me, swimming here is much nicer than in Taormina, but everyone has their own preferences. Parking is available for tourists a few streets away; you can't park directly on the beach.

28/09/2025: Pizzeria on the seafront, food offerings for all tastes, perhaps the waiting times are a bit long but it's worth it

23/09/2025: At the end of the season (September), I found this place by chance, and outside of regular hours (there were just my wife and I), we ate a huge portion of baked pasta. Excellent!!! 🧏🧏 Drinks and coffee, very fair prices! Definitely worth a try.

05/09/2025: Spectacular ice creams and granitas with super-fresh brioche col tuppo, helpful owners, truly top-notch preparations, spotlessly clean place with long closing hours... all right by the sea... TOP... 👍 Highly recommended!

29/08/2025: No service. SEWER MANIA. Next time I'll bring a waiter. Disrespectful to customers: tables adjacent to the drain without a cover... with a strong sewer smell. The staff had no experience whatsoever... they tried in vain to clean the tables with the same gray cloth, without water or spray... basically self-regenerating sponges! Also: tonic served by the glass without opening the bottle... already poured. The origin and the product were unknown... practically blind.

11/07/2025: Luogo incantevole perfettamente in sintonia con il piccolo borgo. Vista mozzafiato, atmosfera magica, musica di sottofondo gradevole e sofisticata. Piatti della tradizione siciliana rinnovati con gusto e ben presentati esteticamente, materie prime di ottima qualità e gustosi piatti. Ottimo il servizio e personale gentile e disponibile

29/09/2025: Absolutely the best dinner experience in Malfa. Pizza was neapolitano style and oneof the best we ever had. Ambiente was great, with live music! Service was more then just friendly! Highly recommended!

15/09/2025: A charming place with fabulous high-quality culinary choices in a beautiful setting. Alessandro provided excellent service and made the whole experience truly memorable and authentic. Definitely worth the short walk off the main strip! You won't regret it.

22/08/2025: The granitas are excellent... a bit too long to wait, perhaps due to an unfortunate moment of overcrowding that could have been handled differently... but the granita—especially the pistachio one with cream—is worth the wait! Very friendly and helpful staff!

15/07/2025: After having a last minute emergency with a VRBO property, Hotel Villa Paradiso welcomed us with open arms. Francesco was quick to check us in and get us in to our rooms after traveling for multiple hours. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The hotel is in a great location and a close walk to everything you need. The private beach club access and shuttle service is a huge perk! Breakfast lounge is beautiful and the food is great. So glad we stumbled on this place - highly recommend!!

17/05/2025: This is a warmth and lovely hotel, truly one of the best hotels that I have stayed throughout 20 years of traveling the world. Staff service is excellent. Everybody here is friendly and helpful. Francesco and Stefania are lovely and the guy has genuinely helped us on our traveling matters 🙏🏼 Can’t say enough about this hotel, but I will definitely stay here on my next trip in Taormina 😊

15/06/2025: Ogni qual volta vengo a Lipari per vacanze, questo ristorante è una tappa fissa. Personale gentilissimo e molto preparato, piatti della tradizione eoliana rivisitati con maestria e delicatezza. Il gelato al rosmarino ormai è un must che non puó mancare! Mangiare in questo giardino curatissimo è un momento che ormai non può mancare durante le mie vacanze a Lipari. Lo consiglio vivamente!

08/06/2025: La location di questo ristorante è unica a Lipari in affascinante giardino di piante secolari curatissimo e rigoglioso. Mise en place semplice ma spettacolare e raffinata . Il cibo, di tradizione eoliana, è rivisitato ma non stravolto ed è superlativo dal primo al dolce . Impiattamento molto bello pur mantenendo porzioni abbondanti Ci ritorno da anni e non delude mai

01/09/2025: We stayed at the Agriturismo for 3 days. We had a wonderful time, welcomed by Antonia, the owner, who was very kind and attentive to our every need. The food was also delicious! I recommend it for its strategic location near Milazzo and Messina.

21/08/2025: Excellent experience, simple but very nice location, professional service, excellent value for money. We had mixed appetizers, each one more delicious than the last, of the highest quality, as were the first courses. The grilled meat was good, and the side dishes, which I would make more delicious, were on par with the other courses. The house wine was good. There's a short stretch of dirt road to access the agriturismo, but nothing particularly challenging. We'll definitely be back.

10/08/2025: I was at a friend's house. We ordered pizzas for 9:30 PM, and the food was good. The only downside was that the pizzas were 30 minutes late.
