He advised us on our choices, making us feel immediately at ease. Being celiac, it's essential for me to find knowledgeable and competent staff. Pietro was able to confidently point out the gluten-free options and advise me on what to order, demonstrating great knowledge and attention to dietary requirements. Impeccable service, always courteous and with a smile. Kudos to Pietro for his excellent work! Highly recommended.

11/05/2026: Busy place full of locals run by a family. Only Italian spoken but they are so friendly you'll get by somehow even if you have no idea what is going on. Food is proper homecooked Sicilian with seafood a speciality. Super cheap too.
09/05/2026: Super good seafood at a regular price. It's very crowded during lunch hours. The menu is in several languages, but the elderly waiters only speak Italian, which adds to the atmosphere of this local restaurant.

21/04/2026: We’ve been to this restaurant four times in a row for dinner, and it’s been the best decision. The ingredients are always fresh, there’s a different daily special every day, and the waiter who served us could answer all our questions and even recommend places to visit as a tourist. If we ever go back to Sicily I’m sure we’re gonna visit this place again.

Tasted the apple buns, croissants and chocolate tarts and bread. (We took some back to our hotel) go early as products sell out fast. All made in house.
17/05/2026: It felt like a dream. Seeing all those gluten-free wonders and being able to taste them was wonderful. Everything was delicious, from sweet to savory. A+

25/09/2025: The food here was very creative and tasty. I had the "lasagna" which was layers of steak and vegetables with melted cheese on top and it was excellent. My wife had the gluten free pasta and that was also very good. One of the best meals we've had in our two weeks here in Sicily. Anil the waiter was very friendly and attentive.
Unfortunately there was hardly anyone there when we were there and the interior was a bit basic.

More than fair prices.

09/10/2025: I discovered this pastry shop about eight years ago, thanks to my daughter's work.
The place is small, but the food inside is exceptional.
I've never had the cassata with that fine ricotta anywhere else, nor the dried fruit baskets. It's a shame that many items can't be shipped, and time flies.
