19/08/2025: Everything is good, but the aperigranita isn't like in the TikTok videos; it's served with two large brioches and five paper coffee cups.

18/08/2025: Never again!!! Six of us order three meat aperitifs. A platter for two should contain at least two portions of everything, but no: we're served three platters, two of which have only orange without meat, and one a slice of pork loin with orange on top. We point this out to the waiter, but nothing is replaced. The worst part? We find a slice of cheese already bitten off in the middle of the platter. I immediately report it to the cashier, and not only do they not apologize, they don't even try to replace the platter. Absolute silence, as if it were normal to serve leftovers from other tables. Result: €100 wasted, without eating practically anything. After seeing that cheese, I had only one feeling: recycled food. Totally disgusting.

28/06/2025: Siamo andati a pranzo ed abbiamo ordinato tonnarelli alla carbonara e mia moglie il duetto. Premesso che con grande sorpresa ce li hanno dati quasi immediatamente, i tonnarelli erano crudi ed immangiabili tanto che dopo due assaggi li ho lasciati nel piatto, il duetto invece mia moglie lo ha quasi finito con molte critiche. Risultato, dopo poco entrambi col mal di pancia. Credetemi, Mai Più e lo dico con dispiacere tenuto conto che nello stesso ristorante di Roma la qualità era tutt’altra.

14/06/2025: We've been here three times now during our vacation in Catania. The service is excellent! They serve fabulous coffee and a very good breakfast. You can tell that it's made with love and effort. If you sit outside, it can sometimes get a bit noisy from passing buses, but only for a short time. Inside, there's quiet (good!) music, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend the Teapot to anyone looking for good coffee or a delicious breakfast/brunch!

28/05/2025: A typical brunch place, but with regular food, nothing too fancy or unforgettable. I took a Teapot egg Benedict - was okay, but the portion small - only one small egg and the sauce is really mayonnaise. The coffee lacked strength and you cannot take coffee to go from there. Waitress was really pissed off, she had a pretty bad attitude towards us from the beginning. She spoke a lot in Italian, very low - I barely heard her, she didn’t even looked at us. She seemed like she had enough. The place looks nice in the inside and outside.

28/07/2025: A place to forget! We waited over an hour for some meat dishes and sandwiches to arrive. We immediately realized the poor quality. I don't recommend it.

28/07/2025: Yes, the food is good, the location is top notch, but the service is disappointing, sometimes rude. Prices are rising significantly over time compared to what they used to be. It now costs 40 euros to eat two sandwiches and a Coke.

16/03/2025: I think the worst experience I've ever had. From the table booked days and days before which once arrived was not yet ready to the cocktails which arrived up to TWO HOURS after ordering, not all together but one at a time. Extremely rude staff. Never again

10/07/2025: My experience at this bar was terrible. They're serving breakfast at a nearby tourist accommodation, and despite having informed me when I made the reservation and in the days prior that a gluten-free breakfast would be required, they didn't specify that it wouldn't be possible, nor did they give me anything at all to eat. At Bar Ambasciatori, they only offered me a coffee and a glass of water each of the three days we stayed. On one occasion, they even told me that if I wanted another coffee, I'd have to pay for it, but I didn't get anything to eat. I went hungry the first two days, and on the third, I brought food I bought at Lidl myself. The accommodation tried to talk to the bar, but the result was the same. I ended up paying double, for the supermarket shopping and for a nonexistent breakfast. A very bad experience with the bar and the waiter who served us the three days.

23/08/2025: I don't know if the dough was frozen, pre-cooked, or even a biscuit... Extremely confused in describing the consistency, which is somewhere between a piadina and a cracker, much smaller in diameter than a traditional "pizza" and about half a millimeter thick, with no edges and lots of holes... Tomatoes taste sour and decidedly raw, aged, smelly cheese passed off as mozzarella... Come on! The aesthetics of the place also need attention, if it can be called that: dilapidated, dark, and with balconies that look like they're about to collapse... A nightmare experience! Biochetasi galore. Should be completely abolished.

16/08/2025: One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to, with a truly unique location and view, completely neglected, neglected, and terrible service. The food was appalling, to say the least: melted granita served in tiny ice cream cups, and supermarket-quality brioche, dry and subpar, as were the first courses. I was very sad to return and find all this... What a shame.

25/08/2025: Excellent pizza...very light dough and fresh, high-quality, and generous toppings. The sushi was sublime! The staff were very friendly, from the guy who answered the phone to the girl who greeted us, to the guys who took care of table service. The place is beautiful, with soft lighting on the terrace and background music...even our little dog was made very welcome! We'll definitely be back. Really well done!!!

13/07/2025: 45€ per cosa, esattamente? Un menù fisso che sa di fregatura. Sono stato a La Bettola dei Marinai con la speranza di gustare un buon pranzo vista mare, ma sono uscito con la sensazione di essere stato truffato. Il famigerato “menù fisso” da 45€ a persona è una trovata ben confezionata per attirare clienti e svuotar loro il portafoglio senza offrire nulla di realmente all’altezza del prezzo. Nessuna trasparenza su cosa includa esattamente il menù, nessuna possibilità di scelta, e soprattutto un'esperienza che non vale nemmeno la metà di quanto pagato. Alla fine il conto arriva senza sorprese… ma con tanto amaro in bocca: 135€ in tre per qualcosa che altrove sarebbe stato classificato come “menù turistico” da massimo 20€. Un’operazione ben studiata per sembrare autentica, ma che puzza di marketing ingannevole lontano un miglio. Non tornerò, e consiglio a chiunque di informarsi bene prima di sedersi. Unico aspetto positivo.. i ragazzi che lavorano li come camerieri

02/09/2025: Visited a takeout pizzeria for dinner on Monday, September 1, 2025. Ordered four different pizzas: Margherita; Margherita with fries; Rossa; and arugula with prosciutto, shaved parmesan, and cherry tomatoes. Total price: €31. The pizzas are good, and, fresh from the oven, they're reminiscent of "contemporary Neapolitan pizzas." Honestly, if I'd tasted a lighter dough (as is typical in Naples), I would have given it an extra star.

23/08/2025: Excellent pizzeria with top-quality ingredients! Attentive and qualified staff, especially the friendly and helpful maître d' Carmelo. The restaurant is also top-notch.

26/07/2025: I started out with excellent pizza and Pizzoli in particular, then over time the pizza got worse, it always arrives cold and is often stuck to the cardboard, delivery service terrible experience, I always book at 5.30pm to be the first at 7.30pm, then they bring it to you after several phone calls at 9pm😤😤😤
