20/09/2025: Yet another terrible experience! Order taken at 8:00 PM, confirmed by the owner for 9:30 PM. Max 9:45 PM....it's 11:00 PM and after dozens and dozens of calls, I'm contacted by the pizza delivery guy, because the owner doesn't even show his face, and he tells me they had a problem in the kitchen and he'll bring my order at half price. I don't know whether to laugh or cry, obviously I declined, and since it's not the first time I'll never order from them again.... I'm going to make dinner!

06/10/2025: Beautiful place, spacious and well-decorated. Several display cases with breakfast items and desserts. I had a chocolate breakfast pastry and a puff pastry with cream. Generous portions. I was particularly impressed by the chocolate cream—not the usual Nutella or a cheap brand, but an excellent chocolate custard. Congratulations. The staff perhaps suffers from the "hurry up, be efficient" attitude, etc. A few more smiles would make the experience fantastic!

12/10/2025: We already knew the place, and we already knew the pizza was superb! In fact, we celebrated our daughter's confirmation there and it didn't disappoint once again! Delicious pizzas, appetizers, and cake. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful, and exceptional! We spent an evening filled with good food, good wine, and a great time. Highly recommended for all types of events or just to enjoy their delicious food. Congratulations!

12/10/2025: I went there for my son's confirmation, returning for the second time because I had a good time for his first communion, I returned. But given the welcome I will not return. The food is excellent, I have nothing to say, only the children's appetizers they put smoked ham and the children did not even touch the appetizer and I had specified to make a simple appetizer of ham, salami and cheese for children but it was not so. The waiter Alfio who served us was very kind. Instead, speaking where I was very disappointed was that I had said that I had to set up the room for my son, since I was the one who had to set up the room and mother of the birthday boy, I asked if he could help me with the times to set everything up from the day before or in the morning. But none of this. He gave me the latest time. The head waiter arrived there and they didn't know where I had to set up, waiting until 4 pm. Then they gave me a minimum space after I had asked from the beginning for a little space to set up. But the head waiter, as I saw, did everything to not help me. I was very disappointed. Also because that evening I was the only one who had the set up while everyone else had huge tables with nothing just to put the gifts on. And if I say this, it's because I've been to many restaurants and I know how it all works. A real disappointment.

16/08/2025: Looking at the reviews, I thought it was a nice place. In fact, I drove an hour and a half to come and have dinner at your restaurant. I ate there with my wife and daughter. I sat down at 9 pm. I waited three quarters of an hour for a waitress to come and take my order. I hadn't noticed something until as soon as I turned around, I noticed the poor hygiene. You can't go on like this without a shred of cleanliness. Okay, another hour passes and the food arrives for my daughter, a pata pizza for my wife and me. A somewhat good seafood appetizer, but now comes the worst: my wife and I get the first course, which was a first course of pasta with fish and pasta with clams. My wife and I didn't even have time to finish them and immediately threw up, and our daughter had diarrhea for a week and was hospitalized at the Cannizzaro hospital in Catania with food poisoning. You don't even deserve a star, not to mention the prices and the terrible service. 07/08/2025: We had dinner this evening for three at the Javj restaurant in the old station. We had a fish-based dinner... Everything was excellent, delicious, and the products were high-quality... the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable... the owner was kind, helpful, and very professional. We will return to Javj as soon as possible... absolutely recommended.

25/09/2025: Worst experience ever. Non-existent welcome, awkward service with staff who didn't even understand Italian and made it difficult to even order. The food? Poor, frozen, and overpriced. We ordered an aperitif and it was served with several items missing; when we pointed this out, we received charred bruschetta (inedible). In fact, instead of the sliced ​​beef, they brought us just any old meat, passing it off as such: a complete and utter mockery. Not to mention the sky-high bill for such subpar food. After our complaints, they made us pay, not even offering a bitter apology. A place to absolutely avoid.

09/10/2025: Absolute scam. Make sure that you pay prior to eating your food. They charged us 37 euro for 2 microwaved cotolette and some cold contorni as apparently we had ordered “double” portions - but there was obviously no way to prove this after we had eaten. Really disappointing behaviour.

13/11/2025: The worst attitude from the manager of this place... We were staying at the hotel next to this restaurant. We arrived at 7 pm (the opening time listed on the website), and the manager told us it wasn't open and we had to come back at 8 pm (a very polite way of brushing us off), which we did. When we returned, we were seated, but all evening, we were the only table that didn't receive complimentary bread or oils. Similarly, when it came time to pay, this rude manager threw the receipt on the table without saying a word. He just handed me the card reader, gave me my receipt, and left the reception area without thanking us or saying goodbye. We really didn't feel welcome. The rest was fine; the food was good, and the waitress who served us was friendly, but this manager's attitude ruined everything.

02/09/2025: Historic sandwich shop in Santa Venerina... what can I say... the legend finds form and flavor in a unique location. The structure recalls the characteristics of an Irish bar... without neglecting typical Sicilian flavors, friendly and helpful staff. I hope everyone can stop by!

30/10/2025: Sorry to say that the pasta alla norma here was disappointing here compared to other preparations in Catania. The style of the dish was cool, but the larger pieces of eggplant weren't our preference and the sauce and cheese didn't stand out. The wait time is long but I don't fault them too much as it's one nonna cooking to my knowledge.
