06/09/2025: As for the pastries, I don't know. I had the pizza. The dough was tough and a bit rubbery. The sauce and cheese were decent. I've never found a pistachio arancini.

03/09/2025: I've dined at this lovely pizzeria several times. In the summer, it's set among the trees in a garden, and in the winter, in the spacious rooms inside a farmhouse. The pizza is excellent, both in size and quality of ingredients. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

23/07/2025: My boyfriend and I went to this place based on the more or less positive reviews. First of all, I booked, mainly because I knew from their website and online that they had hookah. I arrived and was told it wasn't available. I should have at least let them know. Anyway, we sat down and they pushed us to order the all-you-can-eat option, but in the meantime, we decided to try the sushi. The prices were really high, but anyway, we ordered a few pieces of sushi from the menu. As soon as they put the tuna sashimi on the table, it looked normal in color. As soon as I took the first piece and put it in my mouth, I immediately noticed the unpleasant fishy odor. Nauseous. I won't even tell you about the taste, it was awful. The most disgusting sushi I've ever eaten (and they just put it on the menu, and I don't even mention the prices because they're so exorbitant). I wouldn't have given it a cent! We ate with hesitation about the quality of the fish, and I'm of the opinion that sushi should be treated with care, as you don't mess with raw fish! We ate these raw pieces of sushi, almost having to force ourselves to eat them, because it was like eating spoiled fish. It was definitely a result of improper freezing and terrible preservation in the July heat. We ate, hesitant, thinking something might happen, and it did. In the evening, we went home and I felt terrible! It wasn't even Saturday, and there was no one there! Weekdays are usually when they take more care of the food and the customers, as there's less commotion. The food was poor, extremely low quality; I even felt sick! Who knows how it could have ended! No, no, no! And then the value for money was completely outrageous. I've eaten quality sushi at quality places for much less... It's a shame because it could have been a nice place and made a good profit. The waiters were a bit rude, and after we finished the sushi without asking for anything, they brought us the bill without asking, almost as if they were kicking us out. Bah!

20/07/2025: The thing I'll definitely remember about this place is the utter rudeness and listlessness of the young man who greeted us. When it was time to order, he seemed indisposed and rolled his eyes at every request we made, including mentioning a food allergy to strawberries. His attitude was one of utter annoyance and condescension. Fortunately, he was replaced by a young woman later in the evening. It's a shame because the sushi was decent. I wouldn't recommend it for celiacs, considering my husband had a twinge shortly afterward.

07/10/2025: Everything was simply delicious, high-quality, and reasonably priced. The staff was also super friendly!

02/09/2025: Historic sandwich shop in Santa Venerina... what can I say... the legend finds form and flavor in a unique location. The structure recalls the characteristics of an Irish bar... without neglecting typical Sicilian flavors, friendly and helpful staff. I hope everyone can stop by!

06/10/2025: Beautiful place, spacious and well-decorated. Several display cases with breakfast items and desserts. I had a chocolate breakfast pastry and a puff pastry with cream. Generous portions. I was particularly impressed by the chocolate cream—not the usual Nutella or a cheap brand, but an excellent chocolate custard. Congratulations. The staff perhaps suffers from the "hurry up, be efficient" attitude, etc. A few more smiles would make the experience fantastic!

08/11/2025: Delicious, creative farm to table mostly vegetable dishes. Staying nearby walked in for lunch, had the Cauliflower Pumpkin and nuts dish, Black. Chickpea Hummus and Broccoli ‘Meatballs’ along with a couple glasses of wine. Family run, English speaking, personable and excellent service. Multiple seating areas, space for events. I’m glad I was able to experience this excellent restaurant!

12/10/2025: I went there for my son's confirmation, returning for the second time because I had a good time for his first communion, I returned. But given the welcome I will not return. The food is excellent, I have nothing to say, only the children's appetizers they put smoked ham and the children did not even touch the appetizer and I had specified to make a simple appetizer of ham, salami and cheese for children but it was not so. The waiter Alfio who served us was very kind. Instead, speaking where I was very disappointed was that I had said that I had to set up the room for my son, since I was the one who had to set up the room and mother of the birthday boy, I asked if he could help me with the times to set everything up from the day before or in the morning. But none of this. He gave me the latest time. The head waiter arrived there and they didn't know where I had to set up, waiting until 4 pm. Then they gave me a minimum space after I had asked from the beginning for a little space to set up. But the head waiter, as I saw, did everything to not help me. I was very disappointed. Also because that evening I was the only one who had the set up while everyone else had huge tables with nothing just to put the gifts on. And if I say this, it's because I've been to many restaurants and I know how it all works. A real disappointment.

12/10/2025: We already knew the place, and we already knew the pizza was superb! In fact, we celebrated our daughter's confirmation there and it didn't disappoint once again! Delicious pizzas, appetizers, and cake. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful, and exceptional! We spent an evening filled with good food, good wine, and a great time. Highly recommended for all types of events or just to enjoy their delicious food. Congratulations!

16/08/2025: Looking at the reviews, I thought it was a nice place. In fact, I drove an hour and a half to come and have dinner at your restaurant. I ate there with my wife and daughter. I sat down at 9 pm. I waited three quarters of an hour for a waitress to come and take my order. I hadn't noticed something until as soon as I turned around, I noticed the poor hygiene. You can't go on like this without a shred of cleanliness. Okay, another hour passes and the food arrives for my daughter, a pata pizza for my wife and me. A somewhat good seafood appetizer, but now comes the worst: my wife and I get the first course, which was a first course of pasta with fish and pasta with clams. My wife and I didn't even have time to finish them and immediately threw up, and our daughter had diarrhea for a week and was hospitalized at the Cannizzaro hospital in Catania with food poisoning. You don't even deserve a star, not to mention the prices and the terrible service. All this food for 122 euros, but as a man, I paid because I'm not a beggar and I had the chef cook it and it was right to pay. From yours truly ⤵️ Gianfranco Russo

07/08/2025: We had dinner this evening for three at the Javj restaurant in the old station. We had a fish-based dinner... Everything was excellent, delicious, and the products were high-quality... the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable... the owner was kind, helpful, and very professional. We will return to Javj as soon as possible... absolutely recommended.
