18/05/2025: Average food, terrible house wine, slow service, there was a middle-aged lady serving, I don't know if she was the owner or an employee. Very rude anyway, she probably had a bad day but you have to be friendly with customers. Overall a disappointing experience

15/12/2024: I missed this place and believe me, I wanted to write my review as a Google reviewer, here it is. Cozy place in a modern style. I paid 43 euros for two sandwiches with horse meat, chips and two drinks including a beer. Good appetizer of three types of potatoes. well fried frozen starter.Small sandwiches and honestly the horse meat was under seasoned.I have eaten better sandwiches.....

10/11/2024: Giarre CT. Via Aprile Finocchiaro, 17. We had a nice evening. Good food and nice place. Some reservations about the service. I have to make an observation about what is written on the menu. What is offered is the OCTOPUS Sandwich. The octopus is something else!

27/03/2025: Total scam. I should have known...cheapest cheese/ meat + drink combo price in town. The drink was decent. Meats and cheese were just out of supermarket package and did not look anything like picture. Smaller portion than pictured as well. At payment the dude tried to rip me off and ask for more than 7 euro. I should have just left when the meat and cheese platter did not match the picture. Will never go back!

22/11/2024: Svegliarsi prima del dovuto e come sempre voler iniziare la giornata con un buon caffè… Presto fatto ! C è chi ogni mattina si sveglia ancor prima di me per aver la macchina del caffè già bella calda per il mio caffè 😲🥰🥹…. Grazie miss!

02/05/2025: Negative review for the store. The site indicated continuous hours until 6.30 pm. Arrived at the front (12.40pm) closed. The billboard indicated the time was 2pm to 6pm... we decided to wait and lost an hour because the child wanted us. Result 2.15pm closed we waited 15 minutes with 40 degrees and a 3 year old child. (among other things we asked the girl in the guard room if they were opening and she replied at the time that exactly what it says) ... conclusion child in tears because we don't even know if this shop was opening.

20/04/2025: Good morning, we are grandparents of a 3 year old boy. This year we chose the DOLFIN company egg to ensure that it found Dragonball. This morning he opened it and what did he find??? NOTHING, it was empty. Do you know what it means for a child not to find a surprise? They eat chocolate every day but at Easter a surprise is a must. With Kinder in many years, it has NEVER HAPPENED. We are 2 super pissed off grandparents. But where did the person who made the package have his head? And we are also Sicilians living in the north. One word: SHAME

08/05/2025: Basically a very nice bar, you sit a little more quietly on the piazza instead of on the noisy thoroughfare. The Genovese/Panzerotti with mandarin jam are very tasty. The cappuccino wasn't perfect, but OK. However, the price level is completely exorbitant, the capuccino costs €3!! There is no service; you take the ordered food yourself from the counter to the table. I definitely won't be coming back

29/04/2025: This lovely little bakery turns into a pop up natural and local wine bar on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. A great introduction to local wines by the glass - there were more than 20 wines on offer by the glass - a rare treat!

09/06/2025: Our best culinary experience in Sicily! I had a perfectly grilled meat slice with a salad as a sidedish while my husband ate an excellent spaghetti frutti di mare. Waiters are nice and friendly, food came quickly enough. Pleasant background music, great relaxed athmosphere.

06/04/2025: I live not far away and for a lifetime (I'm 46 years old) I've wanted to use them. Finally last night I made up my mind and the dream came true: the pizza is excellent for the raw materials and for cooking in a wood oven; the service was friendly and professional; the setting is wonderfully 80s. Needless to say, I recommend it and I will first of all go back.

15/03/2025: I called at 5.30pm, they assured me that the pizzas would arrive by 9.45pm..at 10.05pm no pizzas had arrived so I called to get news and they told me "they are now coming out of the oven"..it's 10.27pm and still nothing..so they weren't coming out of the oven..the pizzeria is 100 meters from my house!! We trusted them three times thinking that being very close to home they wouldn't be late but every time it's the same thing! Never again! Also because the pizza is nothing exceptional!

12/05/2025: Seconda visita in questo locale, entrambe a pranzo. Questa volta ho optato x la pizza Ho preso un antipasto di fritti, composto x lo più da patatine. Avrei gradito qualche anello di cipolla o crocchetta in più. Pizza nella media Buoni gli ingredienti ma ho mangiato di meglio

A good coffee must be creamy brownish, where the sugar remains afloat in the cream of the same coffee... Maybe it's dosed incorrectly, they use less but the coffee I've had in this bar has always been rubbish, in addition to the watered down taste, it has a poisonous aftertaste. In a bar you also have to pay attention to the coffee and above all to the coffee you serve

04/06/2025: Sono venuto in questa trattoria prenotata da amici. Il locale fa servizio con menù fisso a 20€ dove portano tantissimi piatti di antipasti, poi a scelta un secondo e per finire caffè/ sorbetto o amaro. Siamo persone che mangiano di tutto ma alcuni piatti a nostro avviso erano poco buoni tipo la mozzarella (la lascerei per i ristoranti campani!), la parmigiana (non si può sbagliare!), i formaggi (abbondanti ma poco buoni, meglio poco e di buona qualità).

29/05/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo locale per caso su google maps. Ci fermiamo e ci propongono il loro menù fisso a 20€ che comprende antipasti, secondo, bibite e sorbetto finale. Tutto molto buono e tipicamente siciliano Personale altamente qualificato e gentile. Ci torneremo sicuramente nelle prossime permanenze a Catania.

25/05/2025: It's a typical McDonald's atmosphere. I thought the number would be displayed on the screen, but it wasn't and the clerk called me. I couldn't understand it and fumbled around for a while. I waited for the number I heard from Google Translate, but it was different. I showed my number just in case and got it. The taste is different from the McDonald's I usually eat. In particular, the potato chips taste the opposite. Is this the taste of Sicilian McDonald's? ... Anyway, it wasn't what I expected. The price is 10.6 euros for the set, and it feels very expensive without the discount.
