28/07/2025: Rude staff, dirty bathrooms, and terrible service, especially on weekends. I've been to a lot of McDonald's, not just in Sicily, but it's unacceptable to wait two hours for two menus my daughter and her friend had ordered. Despite repeatedly asking how their order was progressing, they were ignored simply because they were teenagers. Given how much time had passed, my wife intervened, showing the receipt with the time of ordering, asking for a refund for the menus, but they refused. So she demanded that they provide the items she had ordered immediately. Only after she made herself known because they couldn't help it, after a few minutes they gave her the order she had paid for two hours earlier. Absolutely outrageous!!! I don't recommend it, especially on weekends.

07/07/2025: They used to work well, now I don't know what happened but it's a place where you don't eat even if it's the only one on earth. Today an hour of waiting, I can understand the confusion and that's fine, but then half an order arrived first and it was all cold, I had everything changed and they gave me a big tasty with only meat and sauce, the chips with cheddar and bacon with frozen cheddar sauce. The last time I came they gave me cold and soft nuggets. Courteous staff, I give them that without any hesitation, but be less distracted for goodness' sake.

05/07/2025: I give one star because you can't give less. I ordered home delivery and they delivered it to me after two hours. Really poor quality pizza. I ordered a pizza with chips and they put them raw on the pizza and cooked them in the oven... I'll let you imagine the final result.

17/06/2025: Da evitare, da evitare ,da evitare!!! Cibo scadente e sicuramente non all'altezza dei prezzi che mediamente si aggirano sui € 20/22 sia per gli antipasti,che per i primi e per i secondi. Vino sicuramente non eccezionale a 25,00 euro a bottiglia e bottiglie portate al tavolo giá senza tappo (sic !!) nemmeno nei ristoranti più scadenti... Lunga attesa per essere serviti... Per un assaggio di antipasti, alcuni primi ed alcuni secondi, oltre ad acqua,vino e caffè 74,00 euro a persona !!! Lo splendido panorama della terrazza che si affaccia sul mare, unica nota positiva. È consigliabile andare a prendere un semplice caffè ed ammirare il panorama

16/06/2025: Avoid, avoid, avoid!!! Poor food and definitely not up to the prices which average around €20/22 for starters, first courses and second courses. Wine definitely not exceptional at €25.00 a bottle. Long wait to be served... For a taste of starters, some first courses and some second courses, plus water, wine and coffee €74.00 per person!!! The splendid view from the terrace overlooking the sea, the only positive note. It is advisable to go and have a simple coffee and admire the view

14/06/2025: We've been here three times now during our vacation in Catania. The service is excellent! They serve fabulous coffee and a very good breakfast. You can tell that it's made with love and effort. If you sit outside, it can sometimes get a bit noisy from passing buses, but only for a short time. Inside, there's quiet (good!) music, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend the Teapot to anyone looking for good coffee or a delicious breakfast/brunch!

28/05/2025: A typical brunch place, but with regular food, nothing too fancy or unforgettable. I took a Teapot egg Benedict - was okay, but the portion small - only one small egg and the sauce is really mayonnaise. The coffee lacked strength and you cannot take coffee to go from there. Waitress was really pissed off, she had a pretty bad attitude towards us from the beginning. She spoke a lot in Italian, very low - I barely heard her, she didn’t even looked at us. She seemed like she had enough. The place looks nice in the inside and outside.

13/07/2025: 45€ per cosa, esattamente? Un menù fisso che sa di fregatura. Sono stato a La Bettola dei Marinai con la speranza di gustare un buon pranzo vista mare, ma sono uscito con la sensazione di essere stato truffato. Il famigerato “menù fisso” da 45€ a persona è una trovata ben confezionata per attirare clienti e svuotar loro il portafoglio senza offrire nulla di realmente all’altezza del prezzo. Nessuna trasparenza su cosa includa esattamente il menù, nessuna possibilità di scelta, e soprattutto un'esperienza che non vale nemmeno la metà di quanto pagato. Alla fine il conto arriva senza sorprese… ma con tanto amaro in bocca: 135€ in tre per qualcosa che altrove sarebbe stato classificato come “menù turistico” da massimo 20€. Un’operazione ben studiata per sembrare autentica, ma che puzza di marketing ingannevole lontano un miglio. Non tornerò, e consiglio a chiunque di informarsi bene prima di sedersi. Unico aspetto positivo.. i ragazzi che lavorano li come camerieri
