22/03/2026: A nice place, but with a few negatives that somewhat detracted from the experience. I'll start with the less convincing aspects: the sauces were very few compared to the quantity of fries (three large portions). I would have preferred a more practical solution, like a container in the center of the table with various sauces, like many places do. We also asked for barbecue sauce, which was supposed to be included with the fries (provolone, guanciale, and barbecue sauce), but it was forgotten. We asked the waiter for it, but he only brought two sachets, not really enough considering there were six of us. As for the food, the sandwich ingredients were good, especially the onion, which was really tasty. It was a shame, however, that the burger meat was a bit dry and tasteless. The service was rather slow: we waited about an hour and a half for our sandwiches. I understand that the place was busy, but the ordering process was also a bit confusing. The waiters repeatedly told us that they would send someone to take our order, but no one ever arrived, or else the waiters who didn't take our orders would repeatedly ask us if our colleague had arrived.

22/03/2026: We arrived at 9:00 PM. It's a nice place, with plenty of tables. We asked about five times to order, but no one ever came. Finally, a girl came and took our orders, visibly annoyed by our voices. The fries arrived at almost 10:00 PM. We couldn't understand anything on the menu, as there were asterisks that took you to different parts of the page; so we ordered dippers. The description of the fries said they would come with bacon and provola cheese. After an hour, they arrived without toppings, and a very kind waitress made us understand that the description didn't refer to the ones we'd ordered, but to others that were listed at the top of the page. So, basically, we couldn't understand anything. We also had to pay a €2 surcharge per portion. The sandwiches arrived exactly at 10:40 PM, after almost two hours of waiting. The sandwiches were good, the meat lacked flavor, and the toppings were only in the center of the sandwich. With the fries, however, despite ordering three portions, we only got three small packets of mayonnaise and three of ketchup, which was a bit paltry. The place is nice, the food isn't bad, but you should improve the service.

21/10/2025: For me, this hotel has become a regular stopover when I work in the Catania area. My company and I choose it for its excellent location. There's ample parking, and the building and rooms are a bit dated, but they're spacious and equipped with everything you need. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. We usually opt for the half-board option, and the evening meal service is excellent. The food is generous and tasty, but breakfast is a bit basic.

12/04/2026: The parking lot is okay, but the price of €6 for less than two hours is excessive. It's the most expensive parking lot in all of Sicily; it's better to drive a bit further and use another one. There's no machine that shows how much you have to pay – the person at the counter might as well give you an outrageous amount.

26/03/2026: I couldn't see the Scala dei Turchi; they put up parking signs making you think you can leave your car there and see the Scala dei Turchi, but you can't.

22/02/2026: We ate at this restaurant with a coupon, located next to the Castagno dei Cento Cavalli. What can I say? The attentive service and delicious food, especially the antipasto with caponata, parmigiana, and olives, were truly excellent, along with the truly delicious bread. In short, home-cooked food that tastes like grandma's. A special thanks to dear Paolo, who, in addition to being attentive to his customers, is also a witty and prompt serviceman.

15/02/2026: On Sunday 15th February, after a snowshoe hike on Mount Etna, we stopped at a restaurant in Fornazzo. We ate very well. The restaurant was well-furnished and the quality of the food was truly excellent. I recommend the strozzapreti with mushrooms and the pistachio tortellini prepared by them. The chef deserves 4/5 stars for the quality. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and welcoming.

29/09/2025: Excellent, well-stocked delicatessen with a wide selection of cheeses and cured meats. I bought the arancini with tomato sauce, butter, and eggplant, all excellent both for the breading and the top-quality ingredients. I bought them raw and fried on the spot, truly delicious. Perhaps the best arancini in Catania.

24/02/2026: We booked through The Fork, which confirmed the reservation correctly, and when we arrived at the restaurant, they told us it was actually full and there was no room. Of course, the waiter who spoke to us was kind and apologized for not letting us know there was actually no room, but there were five of us with a three-year-old daughter, and this made us uncomfortable.

19/02/2026: A very beautiful and elegant venue, the food is truly delicious. You can taste the chef's passion in every dish. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.
