Piazza Scammacca - Ristorante Pizzeria In Catania

Very nice service! We went with my husband August, which was very hot and there were no fans for cooling! We ate 2 pizzas and they were very delicious, Italian dough and wonderful sauce! I recommend it!

Fantastic experience!! In the heart of Catania, just steps from Piazza Duomo, it was truly a pleasant discovery. The restaurant is very large with six single-themed kitchens offering different dishes on the menu, giving you the freedom to choose freely. In the summer, they use the outdoor terrace more, but the interior is truly a discovery, being an old 17th-century church elegantly renovated while preserving the historical part that has been preserved, an old chapel that now houses the wine cellar. Stefano, one of the managers, guided us with kindness and professionalism in our selection, recommending the delicious linguine with seafood guazzetto and a bottle of Nosiola, a native Trentino grape; they have over 200 labels to choose from. We finished with Rucolino, this truly unique arugula-flavored liqueur. We will be back on our next trip to Sicily!

Place is nice, but the food was mid. Ordered a swordfish fillet. The portion size is good, but the taste of food is lacking. The fish was just fish nothing more, no lemon no herbs no salt just fish. "Smash burger" was fine as well. The coctails was nice. After all decent place

Very good pizza. Great spot. You can feel the atmosphere of this city. The staff are friendly, but a bit lost. However, it's worth trusting them, because the food speaks for itself. Delicious.

Outstanding value for money at this local eatery where sicilian fare blends with more modern dishes. The plates were generous and flavourful, and the veggies also received star treatment. The service in English was fluid, friendly and attentive, and the locals who were at the tables around us all raved about the granité and brioche, which we tried and loved! Definitely a place I would return to and recommend.

In Catania I expected a higher quality of food and low service

A delightful evening among friends/colleagues... curated down to the smallest detail by Giorgia Tartaglia and impeccably managed by Giorgia Bruno, whose sweetness and attentiveness made the evening perfect. We had the opportunity to dine in the cellar... a very special, unique, and private place!!
