09/06/2025: In 16 years that I have lived in this town, I have never had the brilliant idea of ​​trying this pizzeria. We enter this bar/pizzeria at 9 pm, we are immediately told that there were a couple of people before us, so we quickly decide to order a seasoned bread. What a disgrace! We waited 1 hour and 20 for a horrible product! I don't think you can ruin a bread like you did. Everything completely burnt, wrapped in foil, and it tasted of cinnamon. I don't know how it is really possible, I have never seen such a squalid product. Further along there is a pizzeria that opened less than 1 year ago, I won't say the name out of respect, I can only say that it is located in the place of the old Elison pizzeria. Try it and believe it. Super low prices but they certainly don't give you burnt food.

02/06/2025: Tonight, since the takeaway pizzeria where we get our supplies was closed, we wanted to try the seasoned bread from this pizzeria: well, in addition to the lack of kindness from all the staff (including the owner, who as a good local "takes care" of the customers he knows, ignoring the new ones), the pizza chef, thought it was a good idea - once this UNSALT bread was baked (as it was completely devoid of oil, as well as "made do" with very few ingredients) - to wrap it up quickly, putting it inside the appropriate cardboard, so as not to show that said bread was burnt! What can I say... Shame! Making fun of people, believing that we were dealing with petty and venal people like you! It would have been more appreciable to remake the bread, but I understand that only honest and loyal people, as well as professional and skilled, would have done that! Shame on you! A place to avoid!

16/11/2024: Probé este bar un par de noches durante el fin de semana largo y lo que más destacó fue la rudeza del personal. Aprecio que estuviéramos en Italia y que hablar inglés es una ventaja, pero dejaron muy claro que estaban molestos por nuestra asistencia. Solo una persona hablaba inglés y atendían solo a los lugareños, cada otra parte del servicio tenía que ser solicitada. Bebidas muy caras y aunque pedimos exactamente lo mismo dos noches después, ha subido 4€ de precio? En términos de jerga, "estaban en ello"! Pequeño bar pintoresco en una calle tranquila pero no vale la pena al final.

28/01/2025: For me, this hotel has become a regular stopover when I work in the Catania area. My company and I choose it for its excellent location. There's ample parking, and the building and rooms are a bit dated, but they're spacious and equipped with everything you need. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. We usually opt for the half-board option, and the evening meal service is excellent. The food is generous and tasty, but breakfast is a bit basic.

11/06/2025: I had high expectations considering the exorbitant amount I spent on this sugar paste cake. It looked nice, but as soon as we cut it… total disappointment! Terrible flavor, strange consistency, almost inedible sweetness as if the cream were a bar of butter. A real disaster, especially considering how much I paid for it. Never again!!!

03/05/2025: Absolutely zero. They don't respect anything that is asked of them. I wonder how they are not ashamed of delivering certain products. Beyond the arrogance and rudeness that can be felt inside the place. NEVER AGAIN. A total DISAPPOINTMENT.

Unfortunately, when you're with others, you're forced to stay until the end, trying not to further exacerbate the oppressive atmosphere of this nightmarish place that conveys nothing but uneasiness and a sense of loss.

12/07/2025: We stopped here for dinner after a trip to Etna, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was dreadful. There was no signage, no welcome, no guidance – we wandered in and had to make an effort just to get noticed. Eventually, a waitress acknowledged us and seated us. We ordered some water and received menus. Barely two minutes later, another waitress approached to take our order – we were still reading the menu. She visibly rolled her eyes and walked away without a word. When she returned just a couple of minutes later, I placed an order for myself and my daughter. My husband, who speaks Italian, was trying to communicate his choice politely and thoughtfully. As he paused for a few seconds to recall a word, the waitress sighed dramatically and gestured impatiently for him to hurry up. She then huffed loudly again, with clear frustration, leaving my husband flustered and embarrassed. When he asked her not to behave that way, she simply turned and walked off. Let me be clear: the restaurant was far from busy – only two other tables were seated, both already served – so there was absolutely no excuse for the sheer rudeness and hostility we were met with. There was zero patience, zero professionalism, and absolutely no effort made to engage with us as customers – let alone human beings. The interaction was so upsetting that we decided not to stay. We paid for the water and left, shocked and disappointed. Avoid this place if you expect even the most basic courtesy. We’ve never experienced such disrespect in any restaurant before.

29/05/2025: They called me "idiot" just because I didn't have a mask, ergo I haven't been there since November 2020. Buffoons and pains. I decide what to wear, but do you think it's carnival all year round?

08/05/2025: Basically a very nice bar, you sit a little more quietly on the piazza instead of on the noisy thoroughfare. The Genovese/Panzerotti with mandarin jam are very tasty. The cappuccino wasn't perfect, but OK. However, the price level is completely exorbitant, the capuccino costs €3!! There is no service; you take the ordered food yourself from the counter to the table. I definitely won't be coming back

21/07/2025: Proprietario e camerieri maleducati e disgustosi non rappresentano per nulla lo spirito siciliano. Incolpano il cliente per loro mancanze. Sconsigliato, da evitare per me.

17/07/2025: Siamo clienti da anni e ieri, dopo diverso tempo, siamo tornati al locale, ma purtroppo non siamo rimasti soddisfatti; in primis, perché abbiamo riscontrato una qualità inferiore dei prodotti e poi perché abbiamo avuto un’esperienza spiacevole per un piccolo inconveniente con la cameriera che, per sbaglio, ha fatto cadere il calice di vino su di noi, macchiando i miei vestiti e quelli della mia bambina. I vestiti purtroppo non si potranno recuperare, ma non ci soffermiamo su questo perchè sono cose che possono capitare, ma ciò che ci rende amareggiati è stato il non ricevere alcun riguardo nei nostri confronti, come, ad esempio, versare un altro calice di vino, dato che il precedente non era neanche stato bevuto o quantomeno ricevere uno sconto proprio per il disagio creatoci. Noi, per educazione, non abbiamo voluto creare polemiche o discussioni, però ci aspettavamo più rispetto, in quanto clienti.

The food is really excellent, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. The staff is friendly, attentive and always available to satisfy every need. We felt pampered from start to finish! Highly recommended for those looking for an authentic and high-level culinary experience. We will definitely be back! Thank you very much to all the staff!

18/07/2025: Un giovedì sera di lunga attesa per delle pizze arrivate in ritardo e per giunta sbagliate . Essendoci un bambino al tavolo abbiamo chiesto che la sua pizza arrivasse prima e invece è arrivata per ultima!! Bibite arrivate con molta calma , ghiaccio richiesto più volte . servizio lento che deve essere sempre sollecitato . Ci siamo seduti alle 20:30 e ci siamo alzati alle 23:50. Consiglio di migliorare l’organizzazione… perché se in un semplice giovedì accade questo , non oso immaginare un sabato !

16/06/2025: In my opinion, the best pizza in the world! I've traveled a lot around the island. These days, I book flights to Sicily so I land in the evening and can eat at this pizzeria right afterward. The two brothers who run the pizzeria are very friendly!

The dishes are all delicious, but a special mention goes to the baked pasta: rich, flavorful, and made just like in times past… a true treat for the palate. The cannelloni are also unforgettable: creamy, generously filled, and incredibly tasty! Highly recommended for those seeking the taste of tradition and quality products. I'll definitely be back!

12/07/2025: In questo posto ci siamo spesso venuti e sempre trovati bene. Stasera ci siamo veramente trovati male su tanti aspetti io primis ho notato la mancanza di professionalità e soprattutto concentrazione del personale. La ragazza che ha preso l’ordinazione non riusciva neanche a capire cosa volessimo ,ho dovuto fare 3 volte io il riepilogo dell’ordine poiché non capiva. In seguito ad un ragazzo abbiamo ordinato una bottiglia d’acqua che non è mai arrivata . Per 3 aperitivi abbiamo dovuto aspettare molto piu Di mezz’ora poiché li portavano uno ogni 10 min….. sono molto delusa. Anche perché spendere 36€ per un apericena in cui le cotolette sono suole di scarpe pasta molla e scondita mozzarella insipida… sarei andata altrove.

09/06/2025: Well done place, only plus point, for the rest everything leaves much to be desired from the service to the food not to mention the staff at the cash register and at the lottery very disorganized and unprepared always distracted by their cell phones and other things ... female staff too young and not adequately prepared, ten years ago it was much more organized then over time it has gotten much worse I was a regular customer at the beginning then as the years go by I go there very rarely, also they have exaggerated prices on hot food and breakfast and pastries, everything needs to be reviewed .... I no longer recommend it to anyone as a place to visit. If it were to improve I might even change my mind ... but knowing the place I don't think they will make improvements.
