15/01/2025: Terrible service, rude and incompetent staff. I ordered Ramen and the dish did not have boiled egg, as the photo shows. Then the waiter, the only one of 3 who spoke Italian, said he would make me add the egg. At this point I couldn't believe my eyes, they brought an omelette over the noodles. I thought it was a joke and the waiter told me that the photos were old, too bad he doesn't know that Ramen are only served with boiled egg. If you want Japanese food, don't go to this restaurant. Very bad experience

07/03/2025: We found ourselves by chance, a wonderful aperitif, they take care of customers with class, very high quality products. Kindness of service, infinite cleanliness and lots of CUDDLES. Basically everything we tourists always want. Great 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

29/04/2025: Camminando per le vie del centro di Catania, siamo stati attirati dalla location intima e tranquilla di questo locale situato in uno scorcio pittoresco a due passi dal Duomo. Pranzo a base di pesce tipico catanese con materia prima di qualità e porzioni generose. Nota di apprezzamento per lo staff, cordiale, disponibile, allegro e scherzoso senza però risultare invadente. Decisamente consigliato!

27/04/2025: Auf Empfehlung unseres einheimischen Vermieters, Santo, einem sehr netten Herrn, gingen wir in das Giglio Rosso. Es sieht von außen unscheinbar aus und der Chef ist ein selbstbewusster jedoch auch herzlicher Sizilianer. Wir ließen uns dann inspirieren von der Karte und seinen Empfehlungen und bestellten für uns 5 diverse Vorspeisen, Primi Piatti, Secondi Piatti und Nachtische. Und wirklich alles, was auf unseren Tisch kam, war ein ganz außerordentlicher Genuss. Sardellen, Schwertfisch, Garnelen, Tintenfisch, Rinderfilet, Pasta und Dolce. Zum Abschluss ein hausgemachter Marsalla. Alles vorzüglich um nicht sogar zu sagen einzigartig. Bei diesem Essen beschlossen wir, dass es eine weitere Reise wert ist wiederzukommen. In der Nacht entfaltete die enge, dunkle und für Catania sehr typische Straße einen ganz besonderen Charme, wie man ihn nur hier erleben kann. Ein schönes Erlebnis, das wir gerne in unserer Erinnerung behalten. So geht Urlaub ☀️😄 Top-Empfehlung 👍

07/12/2024: Food was decent, however prices are quite high so you would expect at least a decent service and that was NOT the case. One of the waiters (with mustache) was extremely rude and did not care about customer service at all, he did not introduce himself and was very evasive. Disappointing for such a lovely place. Atmosphere was ok but music played from the DJ was too loud making it almost annoying. Wouldn't go back. The food was decent but the prices quite high so we would have expected at least decent service and this was NOT the case. One of the waiters (with a moustache) was extremely rude and did not have the slightest interest in customer service, did not introduce himself (which could also be accepted) and was extremely evasive. All very unpleasant things considering the place. Decent atmosphere but the music played by the DJ was a little too loud in my opinion, almost creating disturbance. I wouldn't go back.

21/12/2024: In Catania sandwiches are mediocre and this place is average. Limited menu, inedible as a whole because all the seasoning falls out, the barbecue sauce contains all the flavours.

19/05/2025: First of all, delicious pizzas. I ordered at 8:30 pm, arrived at 10:15 pm, absurd things in my opinion. Not to mention that you made me feel sick being LACTOSE INTOLERANT. I'll explain everything: I ordered on glovo, then they called me and asked me what they shouldn't have put in my lactose-free one. (I'm not from here, and having arrived late I couldn't wait any longer for another pizza, so I chose not to call and go to sleep) I also started eating it by mistake, thinking it was the requested flakes when I noticed the salted ricotta and fiordilatte. These mistakes are serious!! It's been 2 days and I still don't receive an apology. If I were from there I would have come to get my money back too. I'm a good person, but having also felt bad because of the pizza, I could have reported you!!

16/05/2025: I ordered a vegetarian pizza and a small Lete, delivery not entirely on time but that's okay, it's Friday! I never received the water, even though I had given the euro in addition to the price of the pizza, the delivery guy didn't have the foresight to tell me that he forgot the water. I called to tell them about this kindly, the lady told me that she would have the water delivered to me... but I didn't think it was fair to have them go back and forth for a simple bottle. However, I said to remember this thing and to put it on the bill for the next order. But unfortunately I don't think I'll order again. The pizza wasn't cooked well as I had asked, the vegetables and tomato were bitter... you couldn't even taste the fresh onion! While I was eating it, it all fell apart, too bad... I expected a good pizza. It wasn't like that!

11/03/2025: Bad home delivery experience, wrong order full of tabasco in the bag, wrong delivery, pos forgotten, overcharged the payment as if delivery had been made with the pos. Piadina inedible grease full of Tabasco which later made me feel bad (After the first bite I obviously left it alone), truly inedible nuggets. Never again.

24/09/2024: Now La Fazenda, staid decor, terrible service, passable food but they often get the dishes wrong and the waiter on duty replies: "this is what the chef gave me, surely what you wanted is finished!" Place equipped with Karaoke and frequented by loyal over 60s! Average prices. Courses: Sandwiches, pizza, grilled meat, salads, no first courses! Very slow in bringing the ordered dishes and often wrong but very quick in bringing the bill!! I don't recommend it!

14/05/2025: Very nice place on the slopes of Etna. Rooms not brand new but very clean. Beautiful landscape. I really appreciated the kindness of the staff and especially the availability of Mrs. Giusy (affectionate and thoughtful) who runs the facility with her husband. Excellent restaurant and especially delicious pizzas! We will definitely be back!
