25/06/2025: Fantastic pasta, pasta carbonara and alla Amatriciana - brilliant taste, the best in Catania.

18/06/2025: We went to GG Bistrot in Catania and the experience was really pleasant, the restaurant offers Roman cuisine. We started with a mix of really tasty appetizers: carpaccio, meatballs, potatoes and amazing battered cod, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Then, caprese canapés and, taking advantage of the promotion of the first courses at €5, we tried the gricia, the carbonara and the amatriciana. The first courses were well made, tasty and served in generous portions. At the end of the dinner they even offered us three glasses of Passito di Pantelleria, a kind and much appreciated gesture. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent value for money. We will gladly return!

11/06/2025: We had a wonderful trip through Sicily and visited many campsites. But this place has something magical about it. It's an old winery with wonderful red and white wines. We were warmly welcomed by the young winery owner, Paolo, who also treated us to an interesting tour of the winery. A very friendly dog ​​named Berta guards everything here... We had a wonderful pitch. There's electricity, the showers and toilets have hot water, and there's a washing machine—what more could you want! There's a pool, and you have a breathtaking view of Mount Etna! We highly recommend this place... There's also a restaurant, and in the evenings it's bustling with life! Typically Italian... We highly recommend this wonderful place.

17/05/2025: A landscaped company that revolves around viticulture and wine production, managed by the winemaker-winemaker-owner, Peppe, with a passion and expertise that few can match on Etna. The main residence, the cellar and the small wine museum put together by the owners are also worth a visit. The company also includes some facilities where you can spend the night magnificently in the middle of the vineyard, a swimming pool and an excellent restaurant. Recommended for stays on the northern side of Etna or if you are a wine enthusiast.

11/06/2025: In the heart of Catania, in an inconspicuous place hidden in one of the side streets, I discovered a real gem – a pizza that delights with every bite. The dough is perfectly baked, crispy on the edges and soft in the middle, providing a perfect base for fresh, aromatic ingredients. Although the place does not attract attention from the outside, the level of the dishes served is easily comparable to the best Italian pizzerias. It is a culinary surprise that you want to return to again and again.

29/06/2025: My friend and I had dinner at Le Tre Bocche on our first night in Catania. The quality of the seafood was excellent. We ordered the raw red prawns, the Tre Bocche antipasti mix and the mussels & squid in tomato sauce. This way, we could try all different types of seafood and the local specialty like stuffed sardines. Everything was delicious and the price is reasonable. The ambiance was not that great because of a large tourist group that was very loud and noisy. The service was ok, only one waiter spoke English but at least he was friendly.

23/05/2025: Excellent ice creams, black chocolate ice cream: superb. The white cream and fresh fruit cake is very good. The chocolate cream breakfasts are excellent. The cartocciata is good. Average prices. Recommended The place is a bit small, only takeaway or standing on site. Parking is sometimes not easy.

02/07/2025: Day 29, we celebrated our wedding and I have to say, to say the least, everything was enchanting, perfectly organized, everything we chose and wanted together with my husband was followed to the letter, the chef cooked delicious dishes and all the guests complimented us. In the evening it became an enchanted place! The photos that were taken with the photography staff will be truly dreamlike and we can't wait to see them🥹 thank you so much to Metre and the girls, Stefania followed us until the end and the other girls were also really professional and sweet. Congratulations! Even though three days have passed, thinking back to everything I get emotional. They followed us for everything, one-of-a-kind organization! 09/07/2025: I don't recommend it. Everything is very greasy, not to mention the menu isn't in English, even though tourism is a source of income for them! It's simple, even the ice cream isn't arranged, just in a glass with nothing! A tourist trap like so many others, and by the way, the waiters are helpful, but the gentleman at the cash register doesn't look at you or thank you! Having been to Catania several times, I say avoid it. Remember to smile, it'll be more pleasant!

08/07/2025: Best pizzas I ever have ever. I spent 5 days in Catania and went there 3 days. I tried 3 most popular pizzas there and they’re all amazingly delicious. Deserts are delicious as well. Service is really good. If you order multiple courses, they’ll wait until you finish your 1st dish before bringing out the pizza so you can get hot and delicious meal. Price is affordable. It costed 50€ for 1 salad, 1 fried fries, 1 pizza and 2 drinks

24/06/2025: The pizza was tasty, the place was nice, but the waiting time for service, pizza, and then the bill was exceptionally long. Before the service came to take the order, almost 30 minutes passed. We waited 20 minutes for the bill.

03/07/2025: Nice place, especially compared to the average of Acicastello, but the quality of the food is not adequate. Maybe because of the high number of customers we waited a long time. Prices a little high for the average of the place, but in line with the level of the place.
