My favorite dish is the Chianina Antipasto, which is filling and delicious in itself. It's my entire family's favorite restaurant. Ironically, even though it's a steakhouse, they also offer a variety of vegetarian options.

24/03/2026: Renovated old farmhouse, very welcoming and with attention to detail. Excellent pizza dough (made with ancient grain flours), generous and sophisticated toppings, excellent prices. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, smiling, and very professional. On Sunday, we booked for lunch. The set menu was varied, but not overdone, featuring typical and seasonal products. Generous portions and local wine. Since the ground-floor restaurant was full, we were placed in one of the rooms on the first floor, and even though we were the only customers in the room, the staff was always discreet, attentive to our requests, and always kind and smiling. At the cashier, Mr. Fabrizio, an elegant and empathetic man. Although he hadn't been a restaurateur his entire life, he has managed to combine modern technology with culinary tradition without sacrificing quality. For Mr. Fabrizio and his team, food is culture, conviviality, and above all, inclusion. Places like this have allowed Italian cuisine to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Seeing is believing!

23/03/2026: A rustic and charming place, with friendly and helpful waiters. The service is quick and efficient. The pizzas are large and really good, with a crispy crust. Some ingredients, like the baked potatoes with speck and potatoes, were slightly less successful than the rest of the dish, but overall, everything was very good. Recommended, I'd gladly return!

First, I found a friendly voice who answered the phone, then a welcoming environment, delicious pizzas, and a dessert that makes my day better 😉. Moreover, and most importantly for me, I found true and spontaneous inclusion for my son. That doesn't always happen, it doesn't happen often. I highly recommend it in every way.

25/02/2026: The meatballs with lemon leaves and pork in sauce represent a perfect balance between tradition and the identity of the Giarre area. The citrusy note of the lemon leaves is not invasive, but works in the background, enhancing the natural sweetness of the pork and creating a distinctive aromatic signature. The same goes for the pork in sauce. Highly recommended.

21/02/2026: The place feels like home… The photos hanging there testify to the strong connection with Etna and Sicily! The pizza and meat are truly delicious… You have to try them! The service is excellent and, despite the crowd, they were very quick. Recommended.

02/03/2026: Dear Owner, ​We want to respond to your reply because our lunch experience was profoundly different from what you described. ​I consider myself a very polite and respectful person, and I would never have allowed myself to make a gesture like pouring water into a glass if I hadn't been driven to exasperation by treatment that we perceived as hostile from the very first moment. We chose your restaurant precisely because it was declared "dog-friendly," but the welcome we received from our dogs (who were very well-behaved) was cold and almost irritating. We were rudely reprimanded for even briefly picking up our dog, only to be told he should stay under the table or tied up outside. ​Throughout lunch, we felt observed and uncomfortable. The gesture of pouring water was born out of pure frustration: I want to point out that the water in the bowl was clean because the dogs, terrified by the hot weather, didn't even drink. Being dog-friendly means welcoming guests with a smile, not making them and their pets feel like a burden. It's a shame, because hospitality is just as important as the quality of the food (when it's available, and not in your case). A warm farewell.

The second night I tried the linguine allo scoglio, which was really good. I would have preferred not to find the seeds and tomato skins, but overall it was really good. Two excellent evenings, really good value.

29/03/2026: Disappointing. We discovered this place through The Fork thanks to an ongoing promotion. However, upon arrival, we were informed that the platters were excluded from the offer. Since there were very few dishes available on the menu (some with variations), we decided to opt for a platter and bruschetta anyway. For what you see in the photo, and 1.5 liters of tap water, we paid €40. A truly outrageous amount, even for a tourist-oriented establishment. The quality of the food was mediocre, the cured meats were nothing special, and the pickled products were completely tasteless. In short, we definitely won't make this mistake again.
