What can I say, an excellent experience! Starter of local cured meats and cheeses (exquisite), accompanied by an excellent wine! Followed by a pork cheek with potato cream, toasted chestnuts and artichokes (one of the best I've ever eaten)! The plus is the competence of the guys who manage the place who immediately showed impeccable competence and professionalism! The only flaw, EVERYTHING IS TOO GOOD AND YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO LEAVE!

Savory and well presented unique dishes with a Sicilian twist. Great selection of wines that you can choose directly in the cellar. Best meal we have had since we arrived in Sicily 3 weeks ago.

Hier kun je heerlijk buiten eten in een met doeken overdekt straatje. Lekkerder dan hier at ik nog niet in Sicilië. Spaghetti carbonara met zwarte truffel. Zeer vriendelijke en attente bediening, lekkere wijn en goed eten dus. Probeer ook eens de lokale kaasjes als voorgerecht. Een omrijrestaurant wat mij betreft.

This is a must-visit place when you’re in the neighborhood. Friendly hosts, great selection of local and natural wines - and I really mean ‘great’ - and inspirational food. We had a superb ‘beef tongue kebab’ as appetizer- wow, these people really show how undervalued beef tongue is as a product, especially if prepared the ‘Vitis-way’. It was followed by two great pastas, one with fried zucchini and yellow tomatoes and one with swiss chard cream (can you imagine getting this in Sicily?) and bottarga. In short, kudos to the vitis-team, they made our evening!

Vuciata - kitchen market

06/04/2024: Excellent pasta dishes, specifically the mussels with clams brought tears to our eyes, good service, fast and friendly, the touristy neighborhood although if you go first thing in the morning you will find the peculiar market with the fish and vegetable sellers.
06/04/2024: I'm a Japanese person living in Northern Italy. I visited with a friend on vacation in April 2024. Vuciata was one of the restaurants recommended by the hotel we stayed at. I had grilled octopus, layered eggplant and fish, and spaghetti vongole. My friend had squid ink spaghetti instead of vongole. The vongole was average, but my friend said the squid ink spaghetti was the best in the world. I also shared a bite, and it was certainly delicious to the highest level. The service from the staff was also great.
