Been here twice with my family. Received a good and warm welcome from the staff, and Davide in particular. The quality and taste of the dishes are incredibly good. Highly recommended!!

We had a wonderful meal with our family of 4 (2 children aged 8 and 14). Anna and Davide, in particular, served us very kindly. The food was fresh, plentiful, and prepared with care and love. Quality food for a quick evening is fine... The pizza is a bit heavy due to the dough. But the ingredients are excellent, the meat could be cooked better, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Delicious food and beautifully located in Catania's old town. Slightly away from the hustle and bustle, therefore very cozy.

Excellent Sicilian cuisine. A nice, unpretentious locale vibrating with positive energy, offering a pleasant respite between old town attractions. One of the best Aperol Spritzes I’ve had in Sicily.

On the evening of April 8, 2026, around 9 pm, a group from Târgu Mureș gathered and booked a table on the terrace/entrance hall of the La Quartara restaurant. The reservation was very simple: the first ones to arrive said that we were still waiting for people, and the waiter readily took care of it. The selection was sufficiently extensive, but I was craving a Sicilian specialty, which was the very delicately prepared horse meat: pecseneye and meatballs (polpette). The presentation and taste of the dish created a fantastic gastronomic experience. My tablemates ordered other dishes, but everyone was very satisfied. The place is cozy, the staff is kind, their English is impeccable, and the price-value ratio exceeds expectations. The service is professional, the presentation is aesthetic, the tableware is likewise, the colors and shapes match... well, let's admit it, no one can beat the Italians in this. I highly recommend this lovely place to everyone!

I had a lunch at La Quartara a week ago with my friend. We had sea food. The taste was amazing and the ambience was also too good. One of the best restaurants to eat delicious food in Catania Center. However, the prices wer a bit high.
