24/10/2025: La Prima Dea in Erice was such a lovely surprise. The food was beautiful, full of genuine Sicilian flavour, and made with top-quality local ingredients. The olive oil was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted — I could have happily eaten it on its own! What really stood out was the hospitality. The waiters weren’t pushy or trying to grab tourists’ attention like you often see elsewhere; they were genuinely proud of the amazing food they serve. Service was super quick too, which made it perfect for a relaxed but efficient lunch. We tried the arancini, pane cunzato and panino — all absolutely delicious. And the friendly chap outside, calling people in with his charming Italian accent, really made my day. La Prima Dea is one of those places that reminds you what good food and genuine warmth are all about. Highly recommended!

04/10/2025: We booked this restaurant after reading the excellent reviews, and I must say our expectations were more than exceeded! Fresh fish, carefully prepared dishes, and authentic flavors: you can immediately taste the quality of the ingredients. Impeccable, attentive, and smiling service. But what's truly impressive are the details: spotlessly clean and fragrant bathrooms, even with hand cream available, and a bin under the changing table for both diapers and sanitary pads. Small touches that demonstrate great care for their guests. When quality meets kindness, the result is an experience that makes you want to return. And we definitely will! ⭐️🐟 me

10/11/2025: We loved everything about it: excellent food and service. The atmosphere can get very noisy quickly, probably often on weekends. The only thing that left us perplexed (and a little embarrassed) was the lady at the cashier's reaction during payment. Otherwise, we had a good time.

06/09/2025: In short, it was simply fantastic. And that would be an understatement. The brioche was the best I've eaten in Sicily. The little rolls with olives were simply fantastic. The granita, which we had to be persuaded to try, was simply delicious. But the best part was the lady who worked there: she didn't speak English, but we understood each other. She was so friendly, smiled the whole time, and even opened the room with chairs and tables for us, even though it was actually still closed. Thank you so much, it was great!

03/12/2025: Great experience! The restaurant is located in the center of Agrigento, on the main tourist streets, just a few meters from the town hall and the Pirandello theater. It features elegant, soft furnishings, a mostly tourist clientele, and several dining rooms. We ordered pizzas: mine was pesto with prosciutto, the other Turkish. The first was delicious; the pesto wasn't too sweet and blended perfectly with the ingredients. We didn't like the second; it tasted like pizza with breadcrumbs and no other flavors. The staff is kind, friendly, and helpful; they welcomed us immediately, and the wait was minimal. They were super efficient. The only downside is the prices are a bit high. €38 for two pizzas, a water, and a small Coke; it's worth it every now and then.

01/12/2025: I'd say the seriousness and professionalism are completely lacking. On Saturday night, they offered the option of physically taking turns to get a table, even requiring a woman to write down her last name in a notebook. I couldn't tell if she was an employee or the owner. In any case, we were a couple, and we were booked ahead of other groups of four or more, some as many as twelve. Evidently, the lady (who lacks professionalism and competence) saw fit to repeatedly "pass us by," allowing larger groups to be seated, to the detriment of the couples who found themselves waiting unacceptably long waits. Absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED. Via Atenea offers excellent pizzerias, with at least professional staff (I repeat, they're out of sorts here).

14/12/2025: The pizza is always excellent; I tried the new Roman dough, which was really good. The place is modern and welcoming. We had a reservation, and the table was ready. The staff is knowledgeable and polite. The only downside was the wait time for the pizzas, about 45 minutes from ordering. But considering it was a Saturday night and the place was packed, that's understandable. I also had a really good chocolate dessert. The price is fair, about €17 per person for pizza, water, Coke, and dessert!

12/12/2025: I'd like to take this opportunity to leave a well-deserved review for this wonderful establishment. It's a place that truly deserves so much praise, both for the professionalism of the staff, the welcoming location, and—most importantly—the final product. I believe it is, without exaggeration, the best pizza we've eaten in Sicily in the last twenty years. A masterpiece: perfect in size, balanced in ingredients, all fresh and high-quality. The dough is truly out of this world. Something that's never happened before: I started by eating the crust, and it was so good I didn't leave a single crumb on my plate (and I usually always leave the crust!). The pizza was *exquisite and very digestible*: no thirst, no bloating, just the pleasure of a truly well-made meal. Sincere compliments to the owners, because these days it's increasingly rare to find places so attentive to quality and customer service. I wish you all the best, and keep up the good work! 09/11/2025: This place would deserve 5 stars if it weren't for the way they handled reservations. We called to make a reservation, and the call center told us we didn't need one for the aperitif and that we should go there directly. Well, when we arrived, they asked us if we had made a reservation, and we explained what had happened... their response was that they were sorry, but that's the call center set up for the summer season, so it wasn't truthful. For this reason, we weren't able to sit at a table with a nice view... too bad, they should have written that somewhere, it's not correct! Otherwise, the platter and wine were good! And the location was stunning.

17/10/2025: A beautiful and secluded spot on the northern tip of the island. The aperitif was plentiful and truly delicious (from panelle to arancini to meatballs). Everything was strictly vegetarian. The wine selection was extensive. The only shame in our case was the sheer number of mosquitoes that devoured us, but that's bad luck; when in doubt, bring mosquito nets. Be careful if you're reaching us by bike, as the road is completely dark and bumpy for a long stretch.
