29/10/2025: We only had drinks here, so I can’t comment on the food, but the selection of draft beers and spirits was great, and the bartenders were really friendly. Unfortunately, the cider wasn’t on tap, but the bottled one was still tasty. It would have been nice to have some salty snacks available — after a few drinks we ended up spending quite a bit — but that’s just a small suggestion and didn’t take away from the great atmosphere of the place.

18/11/2025: We went to Club 29 last Saturday for dinner with friends. The real star of the place is undoubtedly the outdoor spaces, which are truly charming and create a very pleasant atmosphere. The interior, while not my favorite, has an interesting personality: having been converted from an old villa, it has retained those characteristics and that almost 1970s country atmosphere, which give it a special charm. Another plus is definitely the staff: everyone was very attentive and extremely kind, an aspect that definitely made our stay more pleasant. As for the menu, we had a drink and a bite to eat. The food was decent, without any particular excellence, and this comes up against what for me is the real sticking point: the price. I find it a bit too high for the quality and portions served. The atmosphere is clearly geared towards a specific audience. In the early evening, there were slightly older tables, but the clientele changed dramatically with the arrival of numerous groups of young people, confirming that Club 29 is a place geared primarily towards twenty-somethings. ​In short, it's the perfect location if you're looking for a nice outdoor spot for a drink, with attentive service and a nostalgic atmosphere, as long as you budget for a price that perhaps isn't entirely justified by the food.

15/11/2025: I always get a drink when I come here; the cocktails are delicious and well-made. I've always been satisfied when I go. The owner is very friendly and the staff is polite. I recommend it.

24/11/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, ate very well, and spent very little. Typical, authentic cuisine, without frills. The caponata was delicious, as was the fritto misto. What a lovely surprise!

05/11/2025: The anchovy panini, the fried calamari panini, and the grilled swordfish are excellent, the staff are very friendly, and the prices are low.

22/10/2025: We arrived well ahead of our scheduled time, but despite this, and despite there being seven of us, we were greeted with great kindness and courtesy by the "hostess" (I call her that because it was like being her guests, not just customers). Given how early we arrived, a long wait would have been the least we could have expected, but instead, none of that happened; we were served in a very reasonable amount of time. As for the dishes they served (all of which were very popular), I can say that the ingredients used were incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. The combinations were spot on, and the food didn't taste at all of MSG (as is often the case in some restaurants), yet each ingredient retained its own flavor, lending each dish its own contribution to a pleasant harmony on the palate. The staff seemed very attentive and eager to accommodate our requests, and all of this happened with a packed restaurant! As for the bill, we paid a little below average for a seafood lunch, but I repeat, the quality was far superior. What more can I say? I think we'll definitely return to this welcoming restaurant in the future, and I recommend everyone reading this to try it. I returned with the same group of friends after two years due to COVID, which brought the entire world to a standstill. What more can I add to what I've already written? An old saying goes, "It can get worse." Well, if you come to Vincenzo, and return after a while, you'll discover that "it can get better" too. The staff is welcoming and attentive to your every need, and the dishes are always top-quality and in keeping with the best Sicilian tradition. The owner, despite the restaurant being packed with customers, carried out her duties as if she were in the privacy of her own kitchen, not failing to exchange jokes with us and other customers, a sign of a certain confidence in the trust she has in the dining room and kitchen staff. I confirm the five stars and regret not being able to add more. I thought I could stop here with my praise for this place, but instead I'm back to heaping praise upon praise. The location had already changed a few years ago, when they moved a hundred meters or so in the direction of Messina, but returning today with the same group as always, we discovered that the place has been completely renovated. We can certainly say that their passion for preparing the food, always delicious and using fresh ingredients, has also been reflected in the care with which they have furnished the rooms, making the restaurant a refined and welcoming environment. Nothing to add to the proverbial courtesy of the staff, from the lady to her son, attentive and quick to understand and interpret the customers' needs. Last but not least, Mr. Vincenzo is excellent, an excellent chef and creator of the always flavorful dishes served. It's a shame we can't give more than five stars, but they would all be well deserved! This place definitely deserves to be included among those you should visit often! I keep coming to this welcoming and peaceful place and feel right at home. The dishes are always top-notch, both in terms of flavor and freshness. The generous portions have become legendary. The waiters, Hamza among them, are also friendly and welcoming, but the others are no exception. The five-star rating has been confirmed again this year. Always well-deserved.

21/10/2025: We happened upon the restaurant by chance. The food is incredibly delicious, the pizza super light and freshly topped. The Sicilian starter (with mortadella, pistachios, and mozzarella) and the homemade tiramisu are also highly recommended. The staff speaks good English, and the owner is fluent in German. We highly recommend this visit and would gladly return! Mille grazie!!

24/10/2025: The best pizza we had in Sicily - we came twice during our stay and loved it both times. Gorgeous view when sitting outside and a nice atmosphere when sitting inside. Menu has more than just pizza (pasta, fresh fish, lots of veggie options) and the staff are lovely.

30/08/2025: A renowned local restaurant, historic and always busy. The Margherita pizza we ordered was good, but the "pretty" one wasn't. However, I'm convinced that the evening (Saturday evening), the first Saturday evening in August, with so many customers to serve, justifies a few small shortcomings.

11/09/2025: What can I say? A lovely, simple pub with a wide selection of beers and a good price. If you're looking for a quick, casual drink, this is the place to be! There's no table service, and the space is small. If you're comfortable with sidewalk seating... you're welcome! A great place to grab a beer with friends!

07/12/2025: Excellent central location just steps from the Teatro Massimo. Friendly staff and attentive service. The location is intimate and welcoming. I didn't try the gluten-free cuisine, but I did try two traditional dishes. I preferred the Anciova to the carbonara, which in my opinion had the guanciale too soft and not enough crispiness, and it was also mixed with a pecorino cheese that I wasn't crazy about, but it tasted good. The pasta at Anciova, on the other hand, had a very good traditional flavor. The prices on some dishes could be a bit lower. Overall, I give it 4 stars and plan to return to try other dishes.

13/11/2025: Chef Calogero introduced us to the menu verbally. We enjoyed Roman-style tripe, a delicious meat tartare, and a first course we absolutely fell in love with: spaghetti with broad beans, bacon, and wild fennel. It was amazing! We'll definitely be back.

29/09/2025: Nice place, good food and drinks. The only downside is that everyone has to order either just pasta or just burgers at the same table, because the same person would cook them. You can, however, order pasta and a main course. Oh well.

01/09/2025: We had excellent burgers and salads!! The guys were nice and friendly!! Good prices for the quality of the products! We'll be back next year, unfortunately we're a bit far away 🤣

20/10/2025: Extremely expensive, parmesan pizza with toppings thrown in like ham and eggplant. They didn't respect the time limit even though I went to pick up the pizzas myself. Disappointed.

27/09/2025: Always friendly and helpful, the pizzas are adequate, topped with good ingredients and a slightly different dough than usual, what my father called "biscottato." Excellent. The takeout portion is quite busy, so it's best to book well in advance. The three-star service is only because customers pick up their freshly baked pizzas at the counter; there's no real table service. But that's fine.

30/10/2025: Too hectic for a peaceful eat...no discipline. Staff shout across to others over you whilsy eat. Little communication/pleasantries/smiles So if you want a manic place and little manners then go Food mediocre
