Excellent seafood restaurant, chosen on the recommendation of the person who took us to Salina from Lipari (Popolo Giallo). Their calamari with Malvasia wine was spectacular, and the fried fish was heavenly.

This restaurant is located on the Lingua seaside promenade in Salina. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. Seafood dishes at reasonable prices.

I went with friends for lunch at the end of June 25th and we had a great time. Excellent food, friendly staff, and a beautiful location facing the sea.

The appetizer was good, except for the eggplant rolls with couscous inside, which tasted stale. The seafood pasta was good, but the Aeolian-style pasta was a bit uneven. The calamari stuffed with Malvasia was very good. The service was good.

I had breakfast and dinner there - everything was delicious and the service was very kind. I think the view is the most beautiful in the world 🩵 I will definitely be back 🌬️

02/05/2026: We had lunch with superb views! I had a menu with pasta and sardine (delicious) and as main dish, swordfish with potatoes, so tasty. My wife had prosciutto e funghi pizza, quite good. The waiters were welcoming, overall I would recommend 100% !

La Trattoria del Marinaio

07/04/2026: A lovely place by the sea. I've had lunch there several times and have always been satisfied. Fair prices and good quality/quantity of fish.
24/03/2026: A spacious restaurant with a view of the Strait, but the view is limited in the cold season due to the covered roof, but we did feel a bit chilly. The two of us were immediately taken care of by the staff, and after a while, our order arrived. Appetizers, first courses, and fried food were all delicious and plentiful. I recommend the appetizer and first course menu or the appetizer and second course menu. The zeppola offered for the feast of St. Joseph was very welcome. .
