31/10/2025: Inside the Ballarò market, a simple restaurant run by knowledgeable and passionate people. When we arrived in the evening, they were very kind to the family. The dishes were truly exquisite, fresh fish. Thanks again.

21/10/2025: A spectacle! In the heart of the Ballarò market. Perfect food and service. The owner, Rosario, is a true and wonderful host. The gluten-free dishes are divine!!! I'll be back in Palermo and I'll definitely be back at Cotto e Bollito.

29/10/2025: I had two pizzas, one parmigiana and one viola.... Initially a little skeptical, since it was the first time I tried this place.... A huge and pleasant surprise.... one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten.... compliments for the quality of the dough, very light and digestible, and high quality of the ingredients.... Definitely worth trying.... one observation, the cost of the supplements is not indicated.... right that you pay, but personally I prefer to see it written.... anyway, 5-star pizza

06/10/2025: A wonderful experience and very friendly and attentive staff. Thank you for the lovely morning and lunch! We had filled cornettos and a good cappuccino, pasta and salad, and the kids were treated to ice cream. I like the location, close to the piazza, but still far enough away to not be too touristy. The only downside was that the restroom wasn't clean in the morning.

07/07/2025: Bellissima atmosfera con vista mare, perfetta per una serata rilassante o una cena speciale. Il pesce è cucinato alla perfezione: fresco, saporito e presentato con grande cura. In particolare, consiglio vivamente le braciole di pesce spada e le linguine alle vongole, davvero deliziose. Anche le pizze sono ottime, ben cotte e con ingredienti di qualità. Il tutto è accompagnato da una vasta selezione di vini e prosecco. Servizio attento, cordiale e professionale. Consigliatissimo!

A welcoming, rustic location, suitable for all ages. Friendly staff, especially the waitress: kind and helpful :) Highly recommended! 03/09/2025: DON'T SET FOOT IN THERE!!!! The phenomenon here thinks he can advertise himself with The Fork, with a 50% discount... and since you pay 50%, he thinks he has the right to have to cook at 50%! He made me half portions of both the appetizer and the pasta portion... 10 mussels in total and four strands of pasta counted without sauce... shame on you!!

28/06/2025: High level Sicilian seafood / pasta experience. Cozy little enclave with AC blasting on a blazing hot summer day. Antipasta mare, seafood fettuccine with amberjack and shrimps and the pasta with lobster all 5/5. Great service, clean and lowkey space. One of the best meals in Palermo

26/08/2025: I came here already last year and was so happy to return again! The food is really delicious — every dish full of flavor and generous portions. Even though the restaurant is always very busy, especially in August, we got a table very quickly and the food arrived fast too. The team working here is brilliant, super friendly, and the service is excellent. Prices are also great considering the big portions and the quality of the food. Definitely one of my favorite places — highly recommend!

06/11/2025: We went out of season, the place wasn't very crowded, but the owner managed to create a great atmosphere, karaoke, and a friendly atmosphere. We did the tasting, and some dishes were excellent, some were average.

30/05/2025: I chose Il Bosco di Alberolungo to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday. Alessia and Rosario are always kind, helpful and precise. They were able to advise me and listen to all my requests. Needless to say, the place is magical.

05/08/2025: Being from Spain, we stumbled upon this bar by pure chance. And fate couldn't have held any better fortune for us. We met the kindest people on an anniversary. And what can I say about the owner and waiters? People with big hearts who love both their products and their land. We will never forget you. 20/10/2025: INTRODUCTION: I've been coming to this place for about 10 years, if not longer. I've eaten here several times and have always had a good experience. I've always recommended this place because they serve unique dishes that are hard to find elsewhere, especially with very generous portions considering the low price. However, I'm realizing that in the long run, it doesn't do the place much good. Low prices for very large portions don't allow the place to improve. They're having a hard time operating and need MORE STAFF!!!!!!, ESPECIALLY IN THE KITCHEN!!!! They made us wait LITERALLY AN HOUR AND A HALF for dinner, justifying it by saying that the Mexican food section had some problems and was backed up. I appreciate the apologies from the embarrassed waiters, but it's really frustrating to see people arrive after me, eat right away, and leave. I saw individual tables occupied by three different families during the evening. I had recommended this place to two of my friends and came with them and my girlfriend. It was their first time, and they had a terrifying experience. After years of coming to this place, after this evening, I'm convinced it will probably be my last. The experience was awful, but I'll continue to recommend the place, because all in all, the food is good. I especially thank one of the waiters, the guy with the dreadlocks, who seemed like the only one who actually cared about us, unlike someone who just walked by without so much as a glance. ADVICE IMPROVE OR INCREASE THE KITCHEN STAFF. YOU CAN'T AFFORD THESE MISTAKES AFTER ALL THESE YEARS. I hope to change this review in the future.

18/10/2025: The food is good, the atmosphere is nice, but the service is really slow, about 20 minutes just for the appetizer. From 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM and we're still waiting for the pizzas. Terrible service on a Saturday.
