Good food, rustic atmosphere (the shelves are a bit dated), very friendly staff. We had fried anchovies as an appetizer, followed by linguine with shrimp and scampi, and swordfish Palermo-style. Everything was delicious. I recommend booking.

I've already dined at this restaurant twice and both times it has been absolutely wonderful. Special thanks to Daniella and Antonella who make every guest feel at home with their warm smiles and hospitality. The food is amazing and worth every single cent. Simply cannot wait to come back!

Quality raw materials and impeccable cuisine

One of the best restaurants near Taormina and the province of Messina. A place where you'll find authenticity in every detail, from the ingredients to the dishes, from the spontaneous service to the simple, refined, and very clean atmosphere. The care taken in preparing the dishes demonstrates the knowledge and ability to transform raw ingredients into flavorful dishes and translate Sicily into a dish. From the appetizers—the delicious tuna tartare and swordfish caponata—to the first courses (special mention for the linguine with squid ink) and the second courses (the tuna with onions is superb). The wine list is interesting, naturally, with a predominance of Etna wines and a few Sicilian gems. The atmosphere is refined, clean, and simple, with paper placemats because substance matters more than form. The service is truly spontaneous, friendly, and attentive. There are only a few tables, and there's no temptation to upset the balance of the place and run the risk of disappointing customers. So book if you want the chance to taste the delicacies that can only be found here.

After being a bit disappointed by the restaurants in naxos, we opted for something more real and authentic. Reddit and google maps pointed here. We walked all the way from Chiso (25 minutes) only to discover that all the tables were booked. However, by a stroke of luck, they could give us a table as long as we finished before 21.00. We started with a sicilian charcuterie board together with a bottle of Etna Rosso wine. For main dish I took the pistachio pesto pasta with tuna roe. I must say this was the best restaurant of the whole trip. The pasta was al dente and the taste of the dish was outstanding. The only sad part is I will have to try and recreate this at home now. I have no idea where to find the ingredients in sweden... 5/5 straight through. But please, do not gamble like we did. Book a table in advance. This was on a thursday and I guess it is impossible to find a table on a friday/saturday.
