Authentic Sicilian cuisine and excellent Nero d'Avolo!
Dining with a view into the kitchen, regional food made with locally sourced ingredients. The owner is incredibly friendly and attentive, delighted by even a few words of Italian and a smile.
The wine in the 2-liter plastic bottle is produced just around the corner and served in the Sicilian style. Because it was so fantastic (I'm a wine drinker, but not a wine snob), we bought a bottle to take home; at €8, I was almost embarrassed 😉.
After two days, I have to add: We should have bought more. After two days exploring the island, we ran out of wine, and we didn't find anything better...

We went here for dinner as a family. The food was delicious and authentic Sicilian. And the local wine was fantastic. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful; we could even watch the chef at work. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.
This spot was unexpectedly one of our best meals in our trip to Sicily. We stopped by on the way back from Agrigento and had delicious seafood risotto, grilled squid, linguine with clams. The owner is a total sweetheart and made us feel right at home despite our limited Italian. They truly take pride in their food and their local traditions, highly recommend stopping by!

We ate at this restaurant twice during our several-day stay in Favara. The place is very cozy and charming, and the owner is very kind and friendly, helping us choose the dishes. The food is delicious (we tried the fried sea bream, grilled meats, and swordfish), the excellent regional wines, and the atmospheric interior make us definitely want to visit again on our next visit to Sicily.
