The hospitality and kindness were astonishing; we stopped by for a stopover on a road trip, unannounced and without reservations. 15/08/2025: Disappointment compared to the past: a real shame... 😔 Three years ago, I stayed at this property and was enchanted by the peace, elegance, hospitality, and attention to detail. It was precisely that beautiful memory that brought me back this year, but unfortunately, the recent experience didn't live up to expectations. The atmosphere remained the same, but all the attention that made it special was missing: 1) The welcome aperitif is no longer offered under the new management; 2) The room wasn't very clean; the microfiber sheets were gray (I hope they were at least washed), definitely not ironed; 3) The pool water looked unappealing, perhaps due to the recent rain, but it was neglected nonetheless; 4) The restaurant service was entrusted to two very young women who, unfortunately, were poorly trained to manage the dining room; 5) Breakfast was the biggest disappointment: mostly packaged and commercial-quality products, including industrial juices. Considering how much Sardinia has to offer in terms of artisanal products, this is truly a wasted opportunity. Given the high price tag, one would expect a much higher standard. A stay in such an iconic property requires quality service and attention to detail. This place—which was Fabrizio De André's hidden gem—deserves to reclaim the standards and poetry that made it special. Otherwise, it risks slipping into the anonymity of a run-of-the-mill hotel.

09/09/2025: We ate this evening before catching the ferry. They were very quick and friendly. We had appetizers and sandwiches, all delicious. We'll definitely be back next time before catching the ferry. I highly recommend it.

05/09/2025: Spectacular and beautifully presented food, a well-curated menu with a wide selection. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The prices aren't excessive; with burgers averaging around €10, I have to say the quality is exceptional!!! Bonus: at the tables, you'll find pencils and party games printed on tweezers, like tic-tac-toe, hangman, and the names of places and cities—great for passing the time.

16/08/2025: A pleasant discovery: a traditional yet unique atmosphere, prompt service, and delicious food (the best suckling pig I've ever had; special mention for the stewed mutton). Highly recommended!

21/08/2025: We had a seafood dinner, which was a huge disappointment because the quality of the food was poor. The scampi cream risotto was flavorless, and the seafood risotto was a typical dish you'd expect from any restaurant not located on a harbor. The grilled seafood consisted of a king prawn, a slice of swordfish, a piece of squid that must have been no more than 3 cm, and a sea bass. Unfortunately, the grilled seafood, like everything else, was completely bland. Our expectations were dashed by the poor quality of the food, but the service also left much to be desired.

25/07/2025: Breakfast as soon as we disembarked at the port... A lovely place, with very friendly, attentive, and "active" staff. Excellent croissants, ditto the coffee. €13.70 for 3 croissants, 1 coffee, 1 juice, and 1 cup of hot milk, a price reasonable for the type of service. Good parking nearby, outdoor area for drinks, and quick bites available. Recommended!

05/09/2025: Great atmosphere and a beautiful location by the harbor. We had an excellent meal with our three children, and the service was top-notch. The value for money was absolutely excellent – ​​a definite recommendation!

30/08/2025: A small restaurant recommended by the hotel where we're staying. It's a quiet spot overlooking the boats in the harbor, with a few well-placed tables. The menu features typical Sardinian dishes. I recommend the fregola, which is very good. We also had a fried fish for two, and while the fried fish and the quality of the fish were good, the price was a bit small for two people. The sebadas were excellent. They have a good wine cellar. Fair prices.

11/09/2025: Wonderful view and excellent food. The agriturismo's specialty is a set menu with many (many) courses, served simultaneously for all guests. Compliments, every course was exceptional!

26/08/2025: We dined at Cabu Abbas last month, and we loved it so much we returned a few nights ago. Typical Sardinian cuisine, a set menu like the vast majority of agriturismi in the area. Price is €55 per person, €25 of which is paid when booking. We ate a lot and enjoyed it, with the house wine included in the menu. Fried mazza, suckling pig, and ravioli were the menu's standouts. The waiters were very kind. The view from the terrace is beautiful at sunset. If you dine outside at sunset, you might encounter a few wasps, but they have an indoor dining area available, and when we asked, they kindly moved us inside.

05/07/2025: Excellent spaghetteria, with tasty and well-prepared dishes. The staff is always helpful and friendly. It also offers, of course, Sardinian specialties, presented with care and passion.

03/07/2025: We have been to the restaurant three times and each time we left satisfied. A large selection of wines, so everyone will certainly find something for themselves. The food is delicious. We ate octopus with apple, a perfectly composed combination of flavors. Pasta Scoglio is a large portion of seafood, perfectly prepared in a delicious sauce. The food and the atmosphere that the people there create is amazing. I recommend that you definitely visit this place when you are in Santa Teresa. It is worth making a reservation in advance.
