A must-visit every year in Sardinia...despite the challenging road and the small village, nothing stops us 😁 The ingredients are excellent and the dishes are prepared to perfection. The owners' care and attention are an added pleasure that constantly renews itself! Very good! Recommended for families and couples.

12/07/2026: Excellent dinner: octopus, tagliolini with squid ink, clams and bottarga, fried mazza frissa meatballs, rabbit roll, and a coffee cream sauce, all delicious. The perfect combination: good food and a warm welcome. We'll be back!

17/07/2026: Adorable! I had to dine alone and came to this place on the recommendation of my host. I hadn't booked, but the owner found me a table anyway. The place is tiny, which is the best thing about it. Intimate and a little noisy, yet cheerful, I felt right at home! The food was sublime. For an appetizer, I ordered the house cured meats and cheeses, delicious, and for a main course, the culurgiones with guanciale. The service was attentive and authentic; the heart of Gallura was there. The myrtle liqueur they produce is a must.

17/07/2026: A wonderful discovery we stumbled upon during our visits to the various archaeological sites in the area. Osteria del Borgo is a small treasure trove that showcases the flavors of a spectacular region rich in history and tradition. The food is masterfully prepared by Chef Pierpaolo and well explained by Rita, his assistant. The Culurgiones are exquisite, not to mention the Sardinian desserts. Definitely worth returning for more ☺️

14/06/2026: We had lunch for two at Il Melograno, and overall, the experience was pleasant, although not entirely up to expectations based on the prices. Among the standouts, I'd highlight the veal with tuna sauce, truly well executed, and the excellent rabbit roll. The Nebbiolo recommended by the sommelier was also very popular, and proved to be a perfect choice. We were a bit unsure, however, about the tortelli stuffed with roast chicken, shrimp, and shrimp sauce: a combination that left us a bit perplexed and, in our opinion, lacked a convincing balance. The slow-cooked rump steak was also rather dry. The desserts are good, but €8 per portion seems excessive. The overall impression is of a cuisine that aspires to be sophisticated, but where not all choices are fully successful. Considering a final cost of around €130 for two, one would expect a little more. Furthermore, we're not in the center of a large city, but in a small town in the Monferrato area, where operating costs are presumably different from those of a restaurant in a much more expensive urban setting. Overall, a good experience, with some successful dishes and excellent wine, but the quality-price ratio could probably be improved. For this reason, despite having enjoyed a pleasant lunch, I don't think we'll return: at these prices, we expect more convincing cuisine and greater consistency between ambition, results, and final price.

03/07/2026: This restaurant is a real hidden gem in the city center. We went there for lunch. They have a great selection of pizzas. The taste was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is also worth mentioning. The small courtyard is very cozy. The prices are perfectly reasonable.

08/08/2026: It is okey. Nothing exceptional comparing to Sardinian standards you can find elsewhere. We had gnocchi and lamb ribs. Gnocchi was a bit tough (I love al dente - but this was a bit more than this..), lamb was over-grilled and chewing. Cold cuts and cheeses were good. It wan’t pricy. Also they have nice view.

The talented chef Salvina manages to bring not only excellent flavors to the table, but the entire soul of Sardinia, passionately showcasing the aromas, colors, and traditions of our land. Each dish tells a story of quality, care, and authenticity. In this place, you can also sense something special and difficult to explain: the presence of Fabrizio De André. It is felt in the air, in the silence, in the landscapes, and in the very soul of this corner of Sardinia that he chose to live, love, and find inspiration for some of his most beautiful songs. It is a discreet yet vibrant presence, which makes the experience even more intense and meaningful. But the value of this place also comes from the entire staff, whose professionalism, helpfulness, and genuine smiles contribute to creating a special atmosphere, where you feel welcomed and at ease from the very first moment. It's not just a restaurant or a place to stay: it's an experience made of authentic relationships, Sardinian flavors, attention to people, and love for what they do. Thanks to Salvina and all the wonderful staff for the beauty, professionalism, and humanity that are felt every time. 30/12/2025: A delightful pizzeria in Tempio's town square. Simple and welcoming, the service is prompt. The "Il Pendolino" calzone is truly delicious, filled with mozzarella and gorgonzola and topped with generous amounts of prosciutto, arugula, shaved parmesan, and cherry tomatoes (and washed down with unfiltered Ichnusa). Reasonable prices.

30/12/2025: The pizza is good, even the gluten-free one! The staff is super friendly and helpful! It's ready quickly.

30/06/2026: Had a delicious meal. Burrata, big prawns, tuna, and Black Angus were all equally refined and tasty. Nice waiter, fast service, and a beautiful building. Highly recommended!
