From the moment you walk through the door, they make you feel right at home, and if you're lucky enough to be served by Jemmat, the experience is simply sublime! Thank you so much for the wonderful service! I'll definitely be back!
28/03/2026: The I Frati Rossi restaurant was a delightful discovery. For an evening with friends, we chose an excellent seafood tasting menu. The menu started very promisingly with two appetizers: amberjack and salmon carpaccio, artichokes, and bottarga. Next up were seafood and truffle ravioli and grouper paccheri, all delicious. For the main course, a mixed fried platter of shrimp, calamari, fish, and mixed vegetables. Delicious, especially because it was so light! To finish, dessert: meringue and strawberry ice cream.
We will definitely be back to try the à la carte menu.

12/04/2026: Spectacular, to say the least. The food is incredibly fresh and truly delicious: I especially recommend the tuna and cuttlefish, both exceptional. Overall, every dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious.
The service is impeccable: the young, kind, welcoming, and friendly staff were attentive. I felt truly cared for and at ease, which is not a given.
They seated us in the inside dining room (not the one near the cash register), and it was simply wonderful. The place has an old-fashioned yet unique atmosphere, perfectly showcased.
The prices aren't the cheapest, but they're absolutely in line with the quality of the experience: it's definitely worth it. It was a real pleasure.

The menu has everything—for vegans, vegetarians, and even gluten-free options. The selection is very wide. The service is very professional. The prices are normal.

20/04/2026: Highly recommend Ristorante Barbagia Olbia. From the minute we stepped in the door, we were made so welcome. A beautiful restaurant with Sardinia at heart. The food is sublime. The best we had in Olbia. Locals recommended the restaurant to us and it did not disappoint. We will be back.
12/04/2026: The best meal I had in Sardinia during my Easter week 2026 visit! I had the wild boar in a sweet/sour sauce with olives and grilled veggies, while my partner had wild boar ragu with handmade pasta. Both were delicious and the serving sizes sufficient for a second, takeaway meal. Also remarkable were the fluffy grated pecorino over sliced tomatoes as antipasti and the almond cake for dessert….followed by memorably strong fennel-based digestifs. Lovely service, too.

06/04/2026: Appetizer review... for 2 Ilmprezxo might seem high... but it's actually more than justified by the quantity and quality of the hot and cold dishes. Rich in quality fish and bottarga, which, as is well known, has significant added value.

We came here with the intention of eating quality Sardinian cuisine, as the reviews boast, but we were very disappointed...
Of the dishes we ordered... see the "receipt" (if you can call it that)... all you could taste was the tomato sauce, which covered the other flavors. The atmosphere was cold, not to mention the unfriendly and inattentive owner, who ignored us. Alas, an experience not to be repeated.

19/04/2026: I've eaten at Portolano several times in the past, and I must say I've always enjoyed it, even though the prices have always been higher than average. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case today. The "black ravioli" I ordered were definitely not the highlight of the day. Aside from the "quantity" (5 ravioli and 2 mussels), there was very little flavor. At €22.00 (basically €4 per ravioli and €1 per mussel), they were a disappointment. The tagliolini with cuttlefish and bottarga were definitely a better dish, as was the seadas. The mussel sauté wasn't particularly flavorful, but overall it was adequate.
Overall, today the quality didn't match the price.
I hope to find the same taste and quality as years ago next time.
19/04/2026: Excellent food in a beautiful location. The ceviche, the fish in a salt crust, and the warm chocolate cake were absolutely delicious.

Just one note: the porceddu (roasted pork) at lunch must be booked in advance, otherwise it's unavailable. Recommended for those who want to enjoy traditional Sardinian cuisine!
