26/04/2026: In my experience the food is good but the service is not good at all and the food automatically arrives cold, I ordered a portion of birds and it arrived cold, then I asked for a beer and it arrived after 20 minutes, I don't think I'll return

The experience was incredibly positive: quick and attentive service, and the waiter was extremely friendly and always available. 25/04/2026: A truly exceptional restaurant in the heart of Taranto. The mussels are simply spectacular, incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. The pasta dishes are excellent, rich in flavor and beautifully presented, while the fish is of the highest quality; you can taste the care taken in selecting the ingredients. An added bonus is definitely the owner, who manages to convey his passion for cooking and hospitality. The staff is super attentive, always available and professional, without ever being intrusive. An experience I highly recommend to anyone who loves good fish and wants to feel pampered from start to finish. I will definitely be back!

10/04/2026: A superb discovery!! The evening had started off badly after we began exploring the old town; we turned back after 5 minutes because we felt so uneasy. But completely by chance, while passing back to the "right side of town," the authentic charm, the warm welcome, the impeccable service, the freshness of the dishes, and the thoughtful touches of this little restaurant completely made us forget the beginning of the evening. Many thanks to the chef, who also speaks excellent French. Top-notch!

25/05/2026: During our walk around the place (especially the entrance, which is a work of art), we loved it and had high expectations. I'm not expecting fireworks, but rather the flavors of our land. We ordered a charcuterie and cheese platter, a Margherita, a broad bean puree with friggitelli peppers, a portion of baked potatoes, and a portion of grilled vegetables. We waited 40 minutes before only the charcuterie platter arrived. After about ten minutes, the cheese platter arrived (quite meager, with just strips of cheese filling the space on the plate) and the puree. It took a very long time... I liked the pizza, soft and thick, but the toppings were NI. The sauce seemed almost raw. The grilled vegetables were practically boiled. What we ate doesn't reflect the beauty of the place. Good job.

29/09/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at Pizzeria Carpe Diem da Jonni, and I can say that the experience was overall positive, with some truly noteworthy aspects and others that could be improved. Let's start with the highlight: the pucce. Truly excellent! We found them very tasty, well-filled, and made with good-quality ingredients. Each puccia was plentiful, flavorful, and affordable, making this place an excellent choice for those who want to eat well without breaking the bank. It's rare to find a place where quantity, flavor, and price strike such a convincing balance. The service was quick and efficient. The staff was very polite and helpful, always ready to respond with courtesy and a smile to requests made during dinner. Orders arrived promptly, which certainly contributed to a pleasant evening. One small detail worth mentioning concerns the restroom, which was overall clean, but unfortunately lacked hand soap. A little more attention to these hygiene aspects would be welcome, especially in a restaurant setting. As for the atmosphere, it wasn't particularly intimate or relaxing. The air conditioning wasn't on for most of the dinner, and it was only turned on toward the end, when we were almost finished eating. This made the place a bit stuffy at first, especially considering the summer temperatures. There were also some children making a bit of noise. Nothing excessive or annoying, but it's worth noting that the atmosphere was quite lively, so it's not suitable for those seeking a quiet or intimate atmosphere. In conclusion, I absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a casual, tasty, and good-value dinner. The pucce are definitely worth the visit, the staff is friendly, and the experience, despite a few small details that could be improved, was a positive one.

30/04/2026: We arrived at 2:20 PM and were greeted with great hospitality, which is certainly not a given: that alone deserves praise. A truly elegant location, with a splendid seafront view that makes the experience even more enjoyable. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly throughout the lunch. The food? Without a doubt, high quality, with fresh ingredients and well-executed dishes. If I really had to find a "quote" (more out of honesty than actual criticism): - I missed the peppery mussels... because a peppery mussel should be peppery, not just a "cozzata" 😉; - on the tiramisu, however, the cocoa was a bit too much, slightly overpowering the other flavors. Aside from that, nothing much to say: the quality of the food was truly superb and the overall experience was absolutely positive. I would definitely go back. 👍

14/02/2026: I'm sorry, but since we came for a bit of relaxation on Valentine's Day, my husband and I were a bit disappointed with the spa experience. Considering the price and the location, it didn't live up to our expectations. The place was clean, small, but well-maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, there were two things that really didn't work: there was a very loud couple with us who talked loudly the entire time. We told them twice to keep their voices down, but, being rude as they were, they started talking again after two seconds. There should be more supervision in this regard, as it's a place of relaxation. The second, even more serious, thing that didn't work was this: you can't pay a significant fee and end up leaving with wet hair because there wasn't a working hair dryer. We were told it was because they had overheated due to high consumption on that particular day, but that can't be a problem for the customers since we didn't pay less on that day than on other days. I'm sorry, but we're disappointed.
