15/09/2025: Going "At Sunset" is enjoying one of the most beautiful natural experiences with loved ones, but it's not just the location, the food, the service... it's the whole package. Arriving just before sunset and waiting for the most spectacular view, filling your heart and eyes with thanks to the Good Lord for His Creations, then sitting at your table and being enveloped by the aromas and flavors of the excellent cuisine and pizza, accompanied by talented and smiling staff. Highly recommended, especially for the excellent quality at reasonable prices. Compliments to all the staff, and especially Raffaele.

06/01/2026: Absolutely among the best pizzas I've ever tasted. I usually can't eat them whole for dinner, but here, the dough is so easy to digest that I can always enjoy it all. The ingredients are top-quality and highly sought-after... the gourmet pizzas are exceptional. Each slice is packed with toppings and an explosion of flavor thanks to the raw ingredients and excellent cooking methods. The burgers are exceptional, my daughter loves them. And lastly, the desserts... they're homemade and amazing. Excellent selection of wines and beers. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

22/12/2025: I've known the owner for a long time, and I can assure you that he puts love and passion into everything he does, from pizza to desserts... not to mention his waiters, each one better than the other. I recommend it🥰

18/10/2025: We were here just for dinner - we liked it. It's not the season anymore, so there are very few tourists, and there was no need to book a table in advance - we did it in person the day before without any problems. The staff speaks English. The service is excellent, unobtrusive and appropriate. We didn't take the complimentary wine, but the offered glass of white was very pleasant and went well with dinner. We had a table by the window, but, unfortunately, it was raining heavily all evening, so neither the stars nor the moon above the sea were visible, and in principle nothing was visible out the window)))), but this did not prevent us from enjoying the taste and conversation. In addition to delicious food, the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, beautiful bright design. If we are in these places, we will definitely come back to try the next menu. Thank you for the wonderful experience and mood! Citrus notes in the dishes were wonderful!:)

15/10/2025: I found a warm welcome, hospitality, and excellent, simple vegetarian cuisine, as well as the wine pairings. The dining room and sea view are breathtaking, and even the room I chose with its terrace allowed me to enjoy a wonderful sunrise. Thank you, AnnaLisa and staff.

04/10/2025: I spent €26 for a mixed seafood grill (as pictured), water, and cover charge. The wait was a bit long and the prices were a bit above average for the area, but the quality of the fish and the perfect cooking made for a decidedly positive experience. Recommended for those looking for well-prepared seafood dishes and fresh ingredients, regardless of the final bill.

16/01/2026: Beautiful hotel, average price, good cleanliness. It's located a 10-minute walk from the Sanctuary of San Pio. The breakfast buffet offers a mix of sweet and savory options, and the food is excellent. When I stay in San Giovanni, this is my favorite hotel! 😊 I also take advantage of the full tourist menu, which includes dessert, water, and wine, at a lower price than any other local restaurant. Finally, the kindness and friendliness are evident, from the owners to the entire staff, especially the dining room staff!

06/10/2025: It's fine for one night. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but poorly soundproofed. The elevator is very noisy. The restaurant offers a limited, touristy menu. However, the reception and restaurant staff are extremely courteous and helpful.

The café offers select blends and meticulous preparations, elevating even an espresso to a moment of pleasure. The small kitchen is the true added value: quick but well-designed dishes, combining flavor and lightness. Perfect to accompany a glass of wine or an expertly crafted cocktail. The pairings surprise without ever overdoing it, maintaining an elegant and convivial style. The service is young and dynamic, with friendly staff who know how to offer advice and create the right welcoming atmosphere. Barboni di Lusso is a new addition to Mattinata's offerings: ideal for a refined breakfast, a light lunch, or a delicious aperitif. A place that successfully combines style, quality, and identity, it fully deserves its four-star rating.

22/09/2025: A place you wouldn't expect, discovered by chance, that leaves you with a smile of warmth and satisfaction. We tried it for a "dressed" aperitivo, a sort of anthology of authentic Apulian foods and small delicacies from the kitchen, both hot and cold. The drinks are absolutely well-made and generous. All at a price you won't find anywhere else. The service is quick, friendly, and pleasant. It's impossible not to highly recommend it. PS: The name is beautiful, great guys!

22/09/2025: We were there a week ago and had a wonderful time. The terrace overlooking the sea is priceless, and we enjoyed a breathtaking sunset. The service was attentive. After a selection of appetizers (delicious stuffed mussels, marinated anchovies and mussels, and the classic Apulian bruschetta with cherry tomatoes and burrata), the truly knowledgeable waiter suggested an off-menu dish that we agreed to try: excellent orecchiette with clams, Foresta Umbra clams, and bottarga. Delicious. The price was proportionate to the ingredients, the kitchen's skill, and the location. WELL DONE. Highly recommended.

14/10/2025: First time having this experience. I told them I love for food. So they made that happen. I tasted dishes that I have never experienced in my life. 6 different plates from anti pasto, pizza, pasta and dessert. Wines, beer, after dinner drink. I was there for 4 hrs. I feel in love with the food and the people who call this place they're home. An experience of flavors and love put into the food. 10/10 recommend

07/01/2026: Unfortunately, the hotel is extremely inflexible and unwilling to help guests avoid cancellation fees. Due to flight cancellations, I was unable to travel to Florence. Even though I informed the hotel more than 48 hours in advance, I was charged for the full first night (2 rooms). Very disappointing.

02/01/2026: The stay at this hotel was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. If I could give it zero stars I definitely would. We stayed for 6 nights in this hotel, and the issues were never ending. Ranging from their incompetent manager Gabriel, to the housekeeping, and many more. First off, we arrived exhausted from a drive from Milan, and the rooms they gave us were extremely small, so we asked to change the rooms and even upgrade to a suite if possible and we’d pay the difference. They told us they could upgrade us but would charge us more, we had no issues with paying more as long as we were comfortable and all on the same floor - since we were a family - they couldn’t accommodate that but moved us to a connected room at the back of the hotel with the windows opening up to the hotels central kitchen. You can imagine the horrible smell all day with the cooking going on. We had to purchase air fresheners to make the room scent bearable during our stay. Secondly, the in-room dining menu said breakfast was until 11am, when we called at 10:30am to order breakfast, they delivered it at 11 and told us that breakfast was only until 10:30, and the next time we’d order breakfast at a later time they won’t serve us. Thirdly, the housekeeping .. the bathrobe in the bathroom was dirty even before we arrived which probably means it wasn’t cleaned beforehand. The housekeeping team kept opening up the closets and drawers to accommodate their needs of storing extra things such as pillows. I would find our stuff moved around to their liking, so I wouldn’t recommend it just to make sure you don’t lose anything valuable. And let me also mention the toilet flushing system, in the 6 nights we stayed we had to ask them to fix the flush twice because it would stop working. And finally, the issues with Gabriel the manager .. on every day of our stay, they’d deduct different amounts from our credit card, and when asked why the amount would be deducted they would give different excuses, they’d say it’s city taxes but how can that be when different amounts were deducted daily? We just came from Milan, they didn’t charge us “city taxes” like this hotel was .. They then said they were charges from the mini bar or room service, so they never had a viable reason for why they’d deduct these amount. And when we checked out the “city taxes” were included in the bill, so what were they charging us for daily?? Paid a lot of money for a horrible stay and definitely won’t be staying here again. The only plus of this hotel was their location.

14/10/2025: Very nice place if you are in Vieste absolutely to try I recommend before the beautiful sunset, the fast service and it feels like eating at grandma's with the table under the porch, there are kittens and geckos very beautiful. The road to get to the Ranch is to be done at low speeds I having a sports car with low suspension I did not risk it. The owners are very kind

16/09/2025: Had the best, authentic meal here! So grateful for our friends Rocco and Ilaria that brought us to experience the best of Vieste! From the bruschetta, with all the options like roasted peppers, marinated eggplant and zucchini, melted caciocavallo cheese, and sun dried tomatoes to the grilled meats, everything was exquisite and so tasty! To top it off, an after dinner limoncello made with olive tree leaves 🧑‍🍳 like nothing we’ve ever tasted! We highly recommend this place if you want a genuine, rustic experience set among the olive groves of Vieste with amazing views!

08/01/2026: Nice restaurant. Totally quaint and stuffy. Oh well. If that's your thing. The service was incredibly unfriendly, and after 20 minutes of no contact, we left. No waiter. No reaction. No clue. 🤷‍♀️

31/12/2025: I've been frequenting this pizzeria during the holidays since I was a child, and I recognize that it's one of the very few places where the pizza (excellent) and the paposce have never changed, and that's a great blessing. Thank you for maintaining the goodness and quality over the years. Highly recommended.

06/12/2025: You can feel the tradition. Excellent quality and wonderful people. Everything is beautiful. Highly recommended for those who want to experience the aromas of Apulian and Gargano cuisine. The prices are fair for what you get. I felt at home.
