25/05/2026: A lovely small restaurant where we received a very warm welcome from the hostess. The dishes were full of flavour, with the carbonara being the absolute highlight, honestly one of the best we have ever had. The tiramisu was delicious as well and the clafoutis made for a perfect ending to the evening. Definitely a place we would happily return to!

The quality and presentation of the dishes are excellent, and the service is attentive and meticulous. The pasta is homemade, as is the bread. The quiet location, combined with the proximity to the beach and the town, is particularly appealing – perfect for exploring Manfredonia while also enjoying some relaxation. The breakfast is also excellent: fresh, varied, and prepared with care. Overall, a hotel that impresses with its atmosphere, cleanliness, and hospitality. In conclusion: A highly recommended hotel with breathtaking sea views. I will definitely be back.

03/03/2026: An extraordinary experience! If you love fresh fish, this restaurant is a must-visit. The raw fish is exceptional: top-quality, fresh, and with authentic seafood flavors. The sea urchins, in particular, were spectacular, with a rare intensity. But the real highlight was the pacchero with lobster: a dish that's simply delicious. Perfectly cooked pasta, incredibly fresh lobster, and an impeccable balance of flavors. Honestly, I've never tasted such a good pacchero! A special thanks to the owner, a friendly, helpful, and attentive person who made you feel at home from the first moment. The service was fast and precise. We'll definitely be back!

Don't let the size of the restaurant put you off. Especially since it also boasts a wonderful view and is located right on the beach. The location is simply unique! And despite its size, the service is personalized and attentive. Furthermore, there's a top-notch wine selection, and even the house white wine is impressive – it's simply delicious! 10/05/2026: Porta di Basso was, quite simply, exceptional. The kind of restaurant that reminds you why certain dining experiences stay with you long after the evening ends. Set dramatically above the Adriatic, the atmosphere is breathtaking from the moment you arrive. As the light softened over the sea and the cliffs below, the entire evening felt almost cinematic — elegant, intimate and deeply connected to the landscape of Gargano. The cuisine was outstanding. Creative yet restrained, refined without losing soul. Every dish felt thoughtful, beautifully balanced and deeply rooted in the territory while still carrying the confidence of true fine dining. One of those rare tasting experiences where every course genuinely surprises and delights. What elevated the evening even further however was the extraordinary service. Warm, polished, passionate and incredibly attentive without ever becoming formal or stiff. The entire team made us feel genuinely welcomed and carefully looked after throughout the night. Porta di Basso is not simply a restaurant — it is a destination experience. A place where setting, cuisine and hospitality align perfectly. Without doubt one of the most memorable dining experiences we have had in Italy.

13/06/2026: I had lunch at this typical restaurant and found it truly excellent. Traditional dishes with generous portions. I recommend ordering half of what you're expecting or one dish at a time. The staff were friendly and professional; they also offered sweet and savoury desserts and liqueurs. I highly recommend trying it.

07/06/2026: From Molise with fury! A lovely, hearty family lunch! They seated us at table number 3, and we had the pleasure of meeting both the owner and his daughter, as well as the rest of the very friendly and helpful staff. The set menu included a rich appetizer with various traditional dishes, three typical first courses, a second course and a side salad, traditional desserts, homemade amaro, and coffee. The experience leaves you with the taste of a Sunday from days gone by. The quality is evident and evident, and we were all truly satisfied. I recommend it to everyone! See you next time!

23/04/2026: It's reputed to be the best kebab in all of Foggia... Well, I can only confirm that. Although the lines are sometimes long, the staff is fast, friendly, and helpful. A journey to the flavors of the Orient, without leaving home.

14/04/2026: I often go to Old Wild West because the quality of the food is guaranteed: the burgers are tasty and the fries never disappoint. Unfortunately, however, the experience is often let down by the service. The staff is a bit listless. It's a real shame, because a little more attention would make it perfect.

01/06/2026: The food wasn't bad, and the location, with its splendid sea view, certainly left a good impression. Unfortunately, however, the service completely ruined the experience. We waited about 45 minutes before we could order, despite no waiter or maître d' approaching our table. After ordering, we had to wait another 45 minutes for our dishes. The most unpleasant thing was that my friend's dish arrived first, while mine wasn't served until about 15 minutes later, effectively forcing us to eat separately. It's a shame, because the food quality is decent and the view is truly breathtaking. However, such long wait times and such careless service management are unacceptable. Overall, unfortunately, I can't give a positive review.

01/06/2026: Terrible value for money. In Rome, for this price, you can eat much, much better. The lovely terrace with a view and fairly efficient service remain.

12/05/2026: Even though it was a Saturday, we had reservations for two, but five of us showed up and were still greeted with great warmth. The pizzas are truly delicious, and the prices are below average for Foggia. The homemade desserts and the quality of the grappa are also excellent... May 12, 2026 Two years later, I'm back to review a place that's actually on the outskirts of Foggia, but one that always gets my attention. The pizza is incredibly light, I think because of the long leavening, and I, who have digestive issues, have never had any problems. It made me fall in love with pizza all over again. The desserts are carefully selected and are of the highest quality. I've never had desserts like this in Foggia. Antonio, a truly kind and knowledgeable guy. Congratulations and regards to Ragù (the owners' little dog).
