09/09/2025: Restaurant located inside a residence, with plenty of parking. A meticulously maintained restaurant with an elegant, rustic style, with tables inside, on the veranda, or by the pool. The service is truly attentive and thoughtful. Instead of bread, they bring the local paposcia, which is delicious. The menu is divided into meat and seafood dishes. We had mussels Vieste-style and gratinated cuttlefish for appetizers, and seafood troccoli and spaghetti with clams for main courses. Everything was delicious. A special mention for the shellfish already cleaned and shelled, so you don't even have to get your hands dirty while eating. For dessert, we were offered the three chocolates: beautiful and delicious, one spoonful leads to another. The organic wine is also excellent and not at all expensive. The prices are in line with those of other restaurants, but the quality is significantly superior. Highly recommended, especially if you're looking for a romantic dinner or a small group dinner, in a very quiet and peaceful setting. The waiters are friendly and attentive.

20/09/2025: Excellent location, just a few meters from the beach with a flat path. The residence is tidy, well-maintained, and clean. Constant and helpful support from all the staff is provided. A few more centimeters of space in the basic cottages would have earned the rooms 5 stars as well.

They offered us a platter of local cured meats and cheeses, bruschetta, and some hot dishes to go with it. 26/08/2025: I've known this bar for a long time. It's changed names and management to become a place rich in wines. They also have a kitchen. Visiting occasionally is a pleasure. Going in a group can be enjoyable, as the variety of wines allows you to interact with each other to choose a wine you like or know.

06/10/2025: It's fine for one night. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but poorly soundproofed. The elevator is very noisy. The restaurant offers a limited, touristy menu. However, the reception and restaurant staff are extremely courteous and helpful.

The pairings surprise without ever overdoing it, maintaining an elegant and convivial style. The service is young and dynamic, with friendly staff who know how to offer advice and create the right welcoming atmosphere. Barboni di Lusso is a new addition to Mattinata's offerings: ideal for a refined breakfast, a light lunch, or a delicious aperitif. 22/09/2025: A place you wouldn't expect, discovered by chance, that leaves you with a smile of warmth and satisfaction. We tried it for a "dressed" aperitivo, a sort of anthology of authentic Apulian foods and small delicacies from the kitchen, both hot and cold. The drinks are absolutely well-made and generous. All at a price you won't find anywhere else. The service is quick, friendly, and pleasant. It's impossible not to highly recommend it. PS: The name is beautiful, great guys!

04/10/2025: I spent €26 for a mixed seafood grill (as pictured), water, and cover charge. The wait was a bit long and the prices were a bit above average for the area, but the quality of the fish and the perfect cooking made for a decidedly positive experience. Recommended for those looking for well-prepared seafood dishes and fresh ingredients, regardless of the final bill.

25/08/2025: We found it somewhat by chance while on vacation in Cagnano Varano during the week of August 15th 2025, and we returned a second time before returning home. The pizzas, paposce, grilled vegetables, and baked cacio cheese were delicious! The service was attentive, welcoming, and cheerful. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Puglia! 23/08/2025: The pizza of a lifetime!!!!! When my boyfriend and I crave a good pizza, our first thought is this wonderful place, L'Ammiraglio. Exceptional staff: fast, helpful, extremely kind, quality is not to be taken for granted, in fact... practically perfection. In addition to the pizza and paposcia, which I dare say are amazing, the waiters and the pizza chef always have a smile on their face, even when the place is packed. They always manage to cheer you up despite having so many things to do. As far as I'm concerned, a wonderful place, the best. If you have the chance, stop by, you won't regret it. One of the few places that in August (when you can't understand anything) still treats you with kid gloves. Well done, keep it up!!!! (We love L'Ammiraglio and the Americana, not to mention the Bronte, delicious!!!) ❤️❤️
