03/03/2026: An extraordinary experience! If you love fresh fish, this restaurant is a must-visit. The raw fish is exceptional: top-quality, fresh, and with authentic seafood flavors. The sea urchins, in particular, were spectacular, with a rare intensity. But the real highlight was the pacchero with lobster: a dish that's simply delicious. Perfectly cooked pasta, incredibly fresh lobster, and an impeccable balance of flavors. Honestly, I've never tasted such a good pacchero! A special thanks to the owner, a friendly, helpful, and attentive person who made you feel at home from the first moment. The service was fast and precise. We'll definitely be back!

12/04/2026: We visited this restaurant with a group of friends with 3- and 4-year-old children. We had a great time! The owners had high chairs available for them and plenty of toys to keep them entertained. Without having to ask, they immediately listed the children's menu for us and brought out the dishes in no time. They understood our needs, and unlike other places, they were truly child-friendly! They actually have a children's menu, not the usual two courses. Adult menu: We chose a mix of appetizers, shrimp, and cured meats. Everything was extremely fresh and tasty, beautifully plated, with plenty of cutlery and the utmost attention to customer service! For the first course: truffle ravioli - delicious! Homemade tagliatelle (you can really taste the difference) with shrimp, mushrooms, and bacon. I recommend everyone save room for the chocolate cake! We'll definitely be back. Thank you for your patience with the kids and for fully understanding our needs.

10/04/2026: Great restaurant in a quiet location. Street parking available. Unfortunately, the waitress only speaks Italian. We had to wait a bit longer for the food, but it was incredibly delicious.

10/05/2026: Porta di Basso was, quite simply, exceptional. The kind of restaurant that reminds you why certain dining experiences stay with you long after the evening ends. Set dramatically above the Adriatic, the atmosphere is breathtaking from the moment you arrive. As the light softened over the sea and the cliffs below, the entire evening felt almost cinematic — elegant, intimate and deeply connected to the landscape of Gargano. The cuisine was outstanding. Creative yet restrained, refined without losing soul. Every dish felt thoughtful, beautifully balanced and deeply rooted in the territory while still carrying the confidence of true fine dining. One of those rare tasting experiences where every course genuinely surprises and delights. What elevated the evening even further however was the extraordinary service. Warm, polished, passionate and incredibly attentive without ever becoming formal or stiff. The entire team made us feel genuinely welcomed and carefully looked after throughout the night. Porta di Basso is not simply a restaurant — it is a destination experience. A place where setting, cuisine and hospitality align perfectly. Without doubt one of the most memorable dining experiences we have had in Italy.

04/05/2026: Delicious and authentic local fare, with efficient and fast service. Generous dishes, from appetizers to dessert. The restaurant is spread over two levels: on the ground floor there are two rooms, one of which is dedicated to the pizzeria. The larger upper floor is dedicated to parties, with the very friendly and captivating Maestro who professionally entertains all guests.

02/05/2026: Excellent restaurant with traditional dishes. We opted for the €30 tasting menu. This included: Appetizers, six different types of pasta, and a generous portion of meat! Wine, dessert, and digestifs were also included. A real treat!

01/05/2026: We went to Panorama today, and I have to say the quality isn't the same anymore. The troccoli allo scoglio were salted troccoli. The appetizer was reduced by 50%. I'm so sorry to write this review, but it's necessary due to the disappointment. We won't be returning.

Don't let the size of the restaurant put you off. Especially since it also boasts a wonderful view and is located right on the beach. The location is simply unique! And despite its size, the service is personalized and attentive. Furthermore, there's a top-notch wine selection, and even the house white wine is impressive – it's simply delicious! 04/05/2026: I went to Locanda del Torrione for lunch with my family and we had a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, ideal for a relaxing lunch. We had fried fish and pasta dishes, and everything was delicious, well-cooked, and flavorful. The portions were generous, and the value for money was truly excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the service, making us feel at ease. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well in a relaxing atmosphere.

Being aware of what you eat and drink is a necessary and respectful act toward your guest, as is providing a detailed, non-cumulative bill, as was the case.

01/06/2026: The food wasn't bad, and the location, with its splendid sea view, certainly left a good impression. Unfortunately, however, the service completely ruined the experience. We waited about 45 minutes before we could order, despite no waiter or maître d' approaching our table. After ordering, we had to wait another 45 minutes for our dishes. The most unpleasant thing was that my friend's dish arrived first, while mine wasn't served until about 15 minutes later, effectively forcing us to eat separately. It's a shame, because the food quality is decent and the view is truly breathtaking. However, such long wait times and such careless service management are unacceptable. Overall, unfortunately, I can't give a positive review.

14/04/2026: I often go to Old Wild West because the quality of the food is guaranteed: the burgers are tasty and the fries never disappoint. Unfortunately, however, the experience is often let down by the service. The staff is a bit listless. It's a real shame, because a little more attention would make it perfect.
