I come here often when I want to eat top-quality food (from the oil used in the preparations to the raisin and almond biscuits at the end of the meal), relax, and feel pampered by the staff and by Mr. Michele, an excellent host, supported by the waiter Marco, who is professional and very friendly.
I'll add that I'm not a local, but I always travel 30-40 km to my absolute favorite restaurant.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent culinary experience.

The service is also exceptional: Marco is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and he makes you feel at home. Highly recommended!

The dishes are delicious, crafted with excellent quality ingredients and respect for tradition, an explosion of authentic flavors. For lovers of fine wine, the selection is very interesting.
A place where time seems to stand still, the wine flows generously, and the food warms the heart. Attentive service, smiling and never intrusive.

The first courses are good, but neither praise nor infamy.

09/03/2026: A beautiful little restaurant, the food is amazing! I had the tagliolino with white truffle, and it was delicious. The meat and cheese selection was superb, lots of local ingredients and strong, unique flavors. A must visit for tourists! One of the servers spoke good enough English to recommend some dishes on the menu.

01/12/2025: Sometimes even a few days away from home seems like an eternity...
But staying in the "La Solaria" apartment, just steps from the Padre Pio Shrine, with every comfort, complete with everything you need and a warm welcome, and right in the heart of the wonders of San Giovanni Rotondo, felt like we were living for three days, in the warmth of our own home.
The kindness, professionalism, humility, and so much more of Mr. Matteo, his children, his father, his brother, his sister, and all the staff—I'd say we felt like family.
We'll definitely repeat the stay!

04/04/2026: I rarely write a review while sitting at a table enjoying cantuccini with a house amaro. The owner greeted us with smiles and a warm welcome. We left it up to him, starting with a variety of appetizers, generous in size... so much so that, despite our hunger, they practically filled us up. But we couldn't leave without trying the wonderful orecchiette with turnip tops, brought directly to the table from the pan. The atmosphere and food are distinctive, where we finally return to the origins of simple cuisine, seasoned with love! Thank you so much for the wonderful lunch!

The staff is extremely welcoming, always attentive and helpful. Special praise goes to the manager and the waiters, who make you feel immediately at ease and pampered throughout the dinner.
The desserts are unique and spectacular, the perfect finale to an already excellent meal. You can sense great passion and quality in every course.
Highly recommended, definitely one of the best restaurants for a wonderful experience!

24/02/2026: After a seafood lunch there, I got food poisoning. I went to the emergency room because I ate raw fish. Luckily, I didn't have any bacteria, but that lunch cost me six hours in the emergency room and a horrible experience. I don't recommend anyone go there; you shouldn't mess with fish; if it's not properly cared for, it can be dangerous.
