04/01/2026: In a three-week vacation in Italy, between Tuscany and Puglia, this was absolutely the best restaurant.
The slow-cooked pork ribs caramelized in vincotto were wonderful, and the amberjack carpaccio with orange reduction was perfect.
Dessert: the lemon parfait with pieces of impressive lemon zest.
Highly recommended.
Great job, guys.

11/09/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance and were very pleased: the atmosphere was family-friendly, and the food was excellent, both first and second courses. We ordered both meat and fish. Recommended.

03/05/2026: A family-run ice cream shop that has been well-established over the years. The staff is dynamic and friendly. The artisanal gelato, made on-site, is truly excellent, with many flavors to choose from and fresh cream always whipped to perfection! The gelato selection is also top-notch! I find the fig cream delicious when in season! Truly an experience not to be missed for anyone living in Rome!

04/04/2026: Located in the main square of Vico del Gargano, among the most beautiful villages in Italy, is this rustic restaurant, pizzeria, and deli. It's definitely worth a visit for its quality, flavor, selection, and, last but not least, its passion for its work. Kudos to the owner, Angelo, for his professionalism. Go and try it, you won't regret it; in fact, you'll be amazed by the quality and variety. Well done.
15/02/2026: Impeccable service, the best paposcia in Vico and the entire Gargano! Our favorite paposcia, friendly staff, always ready to satisfy customers' needs. The paposcia were incredibly tasty and topped with quality ingredients. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!

18/03/2026: A very good chef, you can feel his joy and he's always smiling, he often comes out to check that everything is okay!!! A peaceful environment where you feel at home away from home!!! I highly recommend him!!! ❤️

27/04/2026: Stunning location. We've eaten here several times, the last time as vegans. We let the lady know two days in advance, and she prepared a truly wonderful and varied menu. Borage fritters, fried sage, spicy stewed vegetables, crostini with creamed wild garlic from their own garden, homemade bean burgers, and so on until you're bursting with flavor. In short, great care and variety. I recommend letting her know, as we did, to give the kitchen time to get organized. The price was good. We'll definitely be back!
25/04/2026: We only ate lunch. The portions aren't very large, and you can choose between appetizers, first courses, and second courses. Outdoor seating... really nice! Mixed appetizer with typical selections. The fava beans and chicory were good. The regular orecchiette with cacio ricotta, asparagus lasagna, and baked caciocavallo were the best dishes. I don't know the price because I was a guest. Take your time because they're not in a rush!

31/03/2026: We ended up staying at Villa Maria for one night almost by chance. It's a lovely blend of modern and rustic charm. Our typical Pugliese dinner was excellent. The house wine, Nero di Troia, is highly recommended.
There's still construction going on at the property; a pool is being added and the terrace is being extended, which will certainly be very nice.
16/02/2026: We spent Valentine's weekend at this hotel. Mrs. Marilena was very friendly, helpful, and kind. She welcomed us with great cordiality. The room was excellent, warm, extremely clean, and equipped with all the comforts. Thank you again.

14/09/2025: We stayed here at the end of April 2025. Despite arriving very late, the owner seated us without any hassle. We ate exquisite meat, samphire, and surprising, sophisticated desserts. As if that weren't enough, we were amazed not only by the quality of the food but also by the extremely reasonable price. An unexpected and fantastic discovery. We've now returned to Gargano on vacation, and our first thought upon arrival was: on Wednesday, we'll be back in Vico del Garda at the Giulio Cesare grill!
07/09/2025: This year, we were disappointed compared to the past. The meat is always excellent, but the wait is incredibly long, difficult to manage when you have children.
The platter of cured meats and cheeses was truly meager, therefore very expensive in terms of quantity/price.
When the platter with the meat we chose finally arrived (for 7 people), the accompanying side dish, which was included, consisted of only two sliced potatoes (not even two potato slices per person).
The price was too high for what we ate.

01/05/2026: Beautiful pitches right by the sea; if you're looking for peace and quiet and a bit of solitude in the off-season, this is the place for you. The facilities are perfectly adequate, but unfortunately, there's an extra charge for the showers. Be sure to bring plenty of food, as there are no shops nearby, and if you walk a little inland, you'll find yourself strolling through vast, beautiful olive groves.
30/04/2026: The staff were very friendly, the facilities were well-maintained, the restrooms were clean, and a washing machine will be available soon.
The beach was wonderful with fine sand; for us, it was pure bliss!

12/04/2026: We went to dinner with friends, and many of them had already been there and had always praised it, however I took both a pizza and a paposcia, and both were excellent, paposcia large and very full and pizza cooked very well and abundant in toppings, then location on the sea and courteous waiters, finally satisfactory quality/price, see you next time
20/03/2026: The atmosphere is simple but welcoming. The entrance step is too high, and the sliding door doesn't open easily. But the food and staff are truly excellent. Fresh, expertly prepared fish, excellent paposce! The waiters were nice, kind, and fast. We had a wonderful day.

26/02/2026: We had dinner with my kids and ate and chose from a wide selection of pizzas, three different options. The dough was really good and light, while the pizza was crispy, well-topped, and beautifully presented. All this at more than fair prices and with fast service. They also have a multigrain dough option. Excellent, highly recommended, and definitely worth a try. Go there, you won't regret it.

05/08/2025: Everything was well organized, I loved the check in, the only thing that bothered me was always asking for keys... a key for a chemical, a key for an electric column because every time I turned on the stove it would fall and I had to call and wait for a key for dirty water...
05/08/2025: Incredibly warm service, a beautiful campsite, close to a fantastic beach, very clean restrooms, everything typical of the area – welcome to the Gargano! We've been coming back for several years and are completely satisfied!
