The Best: Chef Francesco's skill. You can taste the incredible technique and extraordinary passion behind every dish. Francesco knows how to enhance every ingredient, transforming a dinner into a memorable experience.
The Atmosphere: A place with character, well-kept and very pleasant.
The Verdict: Excellent value for money and flavors that linger.
Compliments again to Francesco and the entire staff. We will definitely be back!

05/03/2026: My experience at Peppe Zullo in Orsara di Puglia was simply extraordinary—one of those lunches that stays in your heart.
As soon as you arrive, you're immersed in an authentic atmosphere rooted in the land and traditions of Puglia, in a carefully curated and evocative setting amidst hills and vegetable gardens that reflect the philosophy of the farmer-chef.
The food was truly memorable: authentic and flavorful dishes, prepared with locally grown or selected ingredients. Each course expresses a profound connection to the local gastronomic culture—from the homemade orecchiette to the borage parmigiana to the impeccably cooked rabbit.
The presentation is elegant but not overbearing, highlighting the quality of the ingredients and the chef's ability to enhance their flavors. The service was welcoming and attentive, making the experience truly enjoyable.

The true soul of the place is the small interior room dominated by a charming, now-disused straw oven; an element that tells a story, evoking a time when cooking was based on slow movements and peasant traditions.
A good house wine pairs well with the meal; noteworthy is the friendliness of the welcoming, helpful staff, always ready to make guests feel at home.

14/04/2026: I visited this agriturismo on a Saturday evening for pizza with family and friends. We had an appetizer and pizza. The appetizer was generous and delicious: we sampled many homemade products, vegetables, cured meats, and cheeses. The pizza was equally delicious: the classic carrot wheel, as they call their pizza al piatto, looks like a giant, but is so light, delicious, and well-topped that it's easy to eat. Last but not least, there's a babysitting service, with a play area so adults can enjoy their pizza and chat while the kids play. The staff is kind and friendly. I also really appreciated the gift they gave us at the end of the dinner: a bag of fresh eggs.
14/04/2026: We came on Saturday to try the contemporary pizza and we loved it.
Soft crust, well-cooked pizza, and balanced flavors.
A good choice for a hassle-free Saturday night.

28/12/2024: Servizio pessimo e cibo scadente. Ho visitato questo locale con grandi aspettative, ma sono rimasto molto deluso. Il personale è stato scortese e poco professionale sin dall'inizio. Il cibo era di qualità molto bassa e le porzioni erano scarse. Il punto più negativo è stato il divieto di accesso ai cani, che trovo inaccettabile in un locale che si presenta come agriturismo ma non accettano i cani veramente siamo quasi nel 2025 aggioratevi. Vi posso garantire che il mio cane molto meglio delle persone che gestiscono un locale se lo si può chiamare

Una delusione,tanto fumo e niente arrosto questo è il termine adatto per definire questo posto e non solo il luogo anche chi lo gestisce sono passati 3 anni da tutto ciò è purtroppo noi ne riportiamo ancora l'amaro in bocca e non solo noi,dove 2 genitori hanno fatto sacrifici tutto l'anno per rendere la comunione della propria figlia una meraviglia ci siamo affidati a loro e al signore che ci accolse come il film di pinocchio luì naturalmente era la volpe o il gatto (scegliete voi) e noi poveri illusi alle prime Volte ci siamo affidati a lui.
Scegliemmo villa jamele per il posto che tanto di capello ne vale la pena poi ci mostro il menù ed era ok animazione e DJ ottimo dissi c'è tutto e sembra essere davvero tutto molto bello, sii certo come no un giorno prima della comunione ci chiamano e ci dicono guardi c'è un problema non possiamo fare più a villa jamele perché è saltata la corrente e abbiamo dei problemi quindi vi sposteremo (60 persone) a villa paradiso.
Lo sconforto la rabbia mi arrabbio con quel povero di mio marito, lì non mi piaceva troppo retroò il signor Francesco non si fece nemmeno trovare quando portammo la roba li, vabbè calmiamoci è solo una sala...
Giorno della comunione: arriviamo disposizione dei tavoli non comment eravamo insieme ad altra gente e vabbè lasciamo stare anche questo particolare,aria cupa il dj che non ha nominato una sola volta mia figlia una paranoia totale,ok dissi vabbè ora i bambini faranno qualcosa con l'animazione signori e signori non c'era l'animazione si scusano dicendo che il padre della ragazza dell'animazione non si era sentito bene 😱 io dissi ma e' uno scherzo un piano B? Non c'è mia figlia pianse tutto il giorno e noi con lei con una pena al cuore che ci portiamo ancora oggi, a per il mangiare niente di particolare un 6 è più che sufficiente.

24/07/2024: Ho chiamato la pizzeria verso la mattina chiedendogli che pizze facessero; magari ci sarei andato il giorno stesso. Dopo la mia domanda il personale mi ha risposto in modo maleducato, un linguaggio inaccettabile. Mi letteralmente detto: “Vaffancul*”. Poi successivamente mi ha subito chiuso la chiamata. 17/05/2025: In occasione di una festa per pensionamento, ho avuto il piacere di degustare ottimi piatti della cucina tradizionale pugliese preparati con prodotti freschi, genuini e a km 0. Il ristorante, situato nel cuore del centro storico, è gestito da una famigliab splendida, dal padre al figlio più piccolo, che lavora per far sentire i propri ospiti a casa, con un'accoglienza molto familiare. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante, per chi è alla ricercato delle cose semplici e buone, cucinate con cura e tanta passione.
