After reading the reviews and looking at the photos, we decided to visit the inn, trusting what we'd read. Well... It was a wonderful experience during our weekend in Manfredonia. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was good with generous portions, reasonable prices, and the orecchiette pasta dish with turnip tops and fried breadcrumbs exceeded all expectations. Definitely an experience I'll repeat if I'm in the area again. Thanks to the owner, and see you next time. 😊

I had dinner with my husband and daughter. The place was well-maintained and clean, with attention to detail. The staff were welcoming, kind, and helpful. We had orecchiette with turnip tops and clams, and orecchiette with ragù for our first courses... followed by fried calamari and mozzarella from Campania.

For a couple of years now, they've been our go-to restaurant in Manfredonia. We're a group of teachers who find the Locanda del Torrione a wonderful, welcoming, and informal setting. The staff is friendly, courteous, and attentive. The food is fresh, high-quality, and excellent value. They always accommodate our and our customers' requests with a smile and attentive service. Highly recommended.

A truly excellent restaurant from every perspective. We went for lunch and had four set menus for €18 each, featuring fish and a divine mussels with pepper sauce. The quality of the ingredients was top-notch, perfectly cooked, the wait staff was attentive and meticulous, and the quality/price ratio was unmatched. The location was beautiful. Kudos to everyone, keep it up! TOP+++++

Beautiful atmosphere, excellent hospitality, courtesy and professionalism of the staff. Excellent and creative seafood appetizers. Not exceptional, in my opinion, are the pizza and fried calamari.

19/02/2026: We would have been completely satisfied if it weren't for the disappointment of not being able to see the menu and wine list with their prices. Being aware of what you eat and drink is a necessary and respectful act toward your guest, as is providing a detailed, non-cumulative bill, as was the case.

12/05/2026: Even though it was a Saturday, we had reservations for two, but five of us showed up and were still greeted with great warmth. The pizzas are truly delicious, and the prices are below average for Foggia. The homemade desserts and the quality of the grappa are also excellent... May 12, 2026 Two years later, I'm back to review a place that's actually on the outskirts of Foggia, but one that always gets my attention. The pizza is incredibly light, I think because of the long leavening, and I, who have digestive issues, have never had any problems. It made me fall in love with pizza all over again. The desserts are carefully selected and are of the highest quality. I've never had desserts like this in Foggia. Antonio, a truly kind and knowledgeable guy. Congratulations and regards to Ragù (the owners' little dog).
02/05/2026: Fantastic experience! The food is delicious and the ingredients are clearly super fresh. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service impeccable: the staff was courteous and attentive to every detail without being intrusive. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back!
