11/04/2026: EXCEPTIONAL... stone-fired, pan-baked, fried, and plated pizzas, light doughs, high-quality toppings, and carefully crafted combinations. The wait staff is professional and courteous. If governments were run by people this skilled, they wouldn't be in trouble. Well done!
10/04/2026: We had the pleasure of dining at the Motepeloso pizzeria in Lucera the night before an important sporting event, and the experience was truly excellent.
Our fencers from the San Marco Fencing Academy in Vittorio Veneto came down to participate in the second National Under-14 Sabre competition in San Severo, and we chose this place to relax and recharge after a long journey.
The pizza was excellent: light dough, quality ingredients, and a wide variety on the menu. The entire team was very satisfied, both with the taste and the digestibility, an essential aspect before a competition.
A special thanks goes to Angelica for the service: kind, attentive, and always available, she helped make the evening even more enjoyable, making us feel truly welcome.
We highly recommend this pizzeria to anyone passing through Lucera: top-notch quality, hospitality, and professionalism! 🍕

03/05/2026: It was our first time here at Il Cortiletto and we were truly thrilled!
We recommend it, especially if, like us, you want to take advantage of its strategic location in the historic center, just steps from the Archaeological Museum (also recommended!).
The staff is welcoming, and the dishes blend local products with innovative flavors. The dishes are always balanced yet tasty, and every choice reveals thoughtful consideration.
The dining room seats no more than 50 people, but this makes the experience even more special and intimate.
We'll definitely be back!

12/06/2026: This isn't the first time we've come with friends to this charming and unique little place. A small room with just a few seats, where the owner Luigi is very welcoming and friendly. The room is filled with truly original details and a truly unique background music. As for the food, I can confirm the specialty of the pizza slices served, with their very light dough and high-quality ingredients, from the truffles to the schiacciatine with gorgonzola and pecans, to the pepperoni and sausage slice. All accompanied by quality wines and excellent sparkling wines. The desserts are also superb.
Congratulations, Luigi, for your professionalism and, above all, for your desire to give your place a unique and excellent feel.

03/03/2026: We stayed at a property in Lucera that didn't offer dinner, but Noemi recommended catering.
It was a delightful experience, both personally and culinary. Noemi is courteous and knowledgeable. The ingredients are top-quality, and since you eat with your eyes as well, everything was refined, colorful, and inviting.

06/04/2026: I'm sorry to give a negative review to a young venue, but unfortunately there were several problems. Appetizers with music on Friday night. When we booked, since we have a small dog with us, I asked for a quiet table... we were given the table closest to the orchestra. We were assured a jazz repertoire with some blues influences, and we found Neapolitan songs, often with the audience participating. The appetizers were of rather modest quality, the service simple... we definitely didn't want to return to try the food. It's a shame.

03/05/2026: Nice place, home-style food, and a family atmosphere. The only flaw is the table service, which is a bit unsuitable for a family atmosphere and not a work environment, I'd say. Some improvements are needed.
18/04/2026: Found online, I highly recommend it for its quality and price.
We had the house antipasto...typical (it's from an excellent trattoria) with baked caciocavallo cheese, three excellent first courses, house wine, three amari...€25.00 each.
We'll definitely be back.

16/04/2026: A cousin of Lucera's recommended this bar to me. It's a traditional bar in town with excellent and friendly service. The coffee is delicious, and it's a great place to stop if you want to go somewhere frequented by locals.
09/03/2026: Everything was delicious, artisanal pastry shop since 1949. They were very kind to us, explained everything very patiently, and gave us a taste of their famous cassata.

19/02/2026: I stayed at this hotel on Valentine's Eve. I honestly expected something romantic in the room and at the table, but there was nothing extra. My pillow was dirty, and it was cold even with the heating on. There were no slippers; we were barefoot and had to put on shoes to get out of bed. The towels in the bathroom were hard, and I don't think the toilet paper had been changed. The bedside lights didn't work. There was dust on the bed, and the rooms weren't as lit as in the photos. I honestly wouldn't return. I'd only return for the restaurant, but not for anything else.

17/01/2026: Good appetizers, and I must say the meat was excellent. I had the peppered fillet, and it was truly tender and tasty (though I asked for it to be medium rare, and it was a bit overcooked for my taste). Excellent service, and the staff were very friendly. It's a shame the desserts weren't very varied.

17/04/2026: I got married yesterday, April 16th, and I decided to celebrate it with them after seeing their website on Instagram. I went in person, and Valentina was very, very kind and friendly in showing me the whole structure and explaining how it works. What can I say? I immediately booked the date, and I celebrated there yesterday! The entire staff was unique, they followed us step by step and were by my side for everything, they even helped me clean my wedding dress, which had gotten dirty twice! 🤣 The lunch was excellent, we created a menu together with Valentina based on our tastes. The welcome entrance outside was fabulous! In the dining room, appetizers, first and second courses, all you can eat because the waiters always came by for seconds! The cake was made by them. Oh my, I've never eaten such a good wedding cake!!! I had made a request, and it was accepted and recreated exactly as I had asked, always talking about the cake (I'm attaching a photo). And when we returned to the dining room to eat the cake, the waitresses arrived with the dessert buffet, HUGE BABAs 😍 everyone was in disbelief, and so many cakes, miniatures, etc., etc. That night we stayed there, where they left us a nice bottle of prosecco in the superior room (beautiful!!) and above all, SO CLEAN!!!!
Oh, I forgot, Valentina decorated the room for me with colorful flowers, gorgeous!
I highly recommend, highly recommend, coming to celebrate here! I will never forget this day because it was truly a fairytale! The staff are amazing, very kind, and always with a big smile… ❤️
