22/07/2026: The owner of the hotel at the dolmen where we were staying recommended it to us, and it was a wonderful experience. They seated us in the cave, and we ordered appetizers, which were delicious and unique, with a genuine flavor. Then we ordered pizzas, but we had to stop the waiter from bringing more because he'd already brought so many different types and we were full. The pizza was delicious, with a very light crust. For what we ate, the quality, quantity, and price were truly excellent. I forgot we also had fun with the karaoke. Thanks, we'll be back as soon as we get back.

08/07/2026: What a lovely find in Calcinaia. We dined here last night and were impressed by the attention to detail in every single dish. Everything we tasted was excellent. I especially loved the involtini served on a wooden board with that delicate creamy sauce on the side. The presentation is impeccable, and the flavor is truly authentic. And it's not because he's bored of always doing the same things, but rather, because of his profound knowledge of the subject and the joy of bringing an Experience to the table. We dove headfirst into a six-course tasting menu, from appetizer to dessert, and I must say that in the end, everything was worthy of a memorable dinner. It wasn't just pizzas, but gourmet dishes, refined in their choice of ingredients and presentation. Art in the kitchen: every bite evokes a memory and evokes an emotion. A return to the past through empirical research that serves as a common denominator for the new frontiers of fine dining. I was particularly struck by a dough I've rarely encountered before: sfogliata. A pizza so thin and crispy it resembles a cracker; ideal for enhancing the flavors of light, delicately flavored ingredients. This potentially makes it a low-calorie dish, suitable for those whose dietitian told them pizza was only allowed once a week. Vegans had already been considered, and even celiacs had been considered: do you really think Orazio wouldn't consider making pizzerias accessible to the other 98% of the Italian population? As for the food, my children ate the pasta made with burnt wheat flour and immediately said it was delicious, and we had the pizza, which we thought was really good. I highly recommend a visit to this pizzeria. Everything was very, very good.

25/07/2026: I went there twice during my vacation, and I would have gone again if my vacation hadn't ended ☺️ I want to write a review because I had a great time, and so did the 11 other people who came with me. Food: I recommended their paposcia to everyone, knowing it well, and obviously everyone was satisfied, even the celiac person with us, because the restaurant is AIC certified, which isn't a given in a vacation spot. Knowing it's a place you can rely on culinary expertise is something that gave us peace of mind. I also recommend the gluten-free option, as I mentioned. Service: There was a small misunderstanding between us and the service staff, but what made me most happy was that they acknowledged the mistake and made amends. I had the dish they had already cooked added to my bill, which would have gone in the garbage, but their kindness was evident when paying. I noticed the small credit they applied, and we were very pleased. Atmosphere: As I mentioned, there were 12 of us with 5 strollers, and although the place is small, they thoughtfully seated us outside, making it easier for both us and the other tables to enjoy dinner. Price: I was really surprised by the price. Being a tourist spot, I expected much more, but it was within the norm, especially considering the quality of the products. In one word: PERFECT!! Thank you ❤️

13/07/2026: Unbelievable rudeness and zero attention to families. I absolutely do not recommend this place. We were choosing dinner for ourselves and our children. Since the little ones never finish everything, I wanted to share a dish with my son. The lady approached us in an intrusive and rude manner, forbidding us from sharing because "otherwise she wouldn't earn any money." There was no specific prohibition on the menu; it was a rule made up on the spot out of greed. Mistreatment of a family with small children for fear of earning a dish less is shameful. Apulian hospitality is something else entirely.
