12/11/2025: I'd like to share my extremely positive experience with Bar Svevo in Lucera, a place of absolute excellence in the artisanal pastry world. For my graduation, I commissioned a pistachio and white chocolate cake, meticulously crafted down to the last detail. From the first contact, I encountered great professionalism, courtesy, and a willingness to listen to my requests, which were executed impeccably. The cake, in addition to being aesthetically stunning, proved to be a true masterpiece of flavor, perfectly balanced. Despite being transported from Lucera to Bologna by car, thanks to a suitable refrigeration system, the cake remained perfectly intact, retaining the freshness, texture, and flavor of a freshly made cake. The guests were thrilled, and the cake was unanimously praised both for its beauty and the quality of the ingredients. The experience was so satisfying that, shortly thereafter, I decided to order a similar cake again, in a smaller size, to celebrate my graduation with my family in Foggia. On that occasion, too, the result was excellent in every way. I also purchased mini pizzas and small pastries, products that stood out for their fragrance, flavor, and care in their preparation. These items also maintained their characteristics perfectly during transport, confirming the high quality of the workmanship. In conclusion, Bar Svevo has proven to be a go-to place for anyone seeking impeccable service, top-quality artisanal products, and attentive and professional customer service. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking quality, elegance, and reliability. A sincere thank you for helping make my graduation an even sweeter and more unforgettable experience.

06/11/2025: We had lunch at Osteria del D'Avalos last week, but we come here often when we're in the area. It's an excellent restaurant: excellent traditional dishes (the appetizers are delicious!), very friendly staff, and a very welcoming place.

16/11/2025: The wait was a bit long. The service wasn't impeccable (they didn't bring us plates to share the fries, nor glasses for wine; they only told us the arugula was out after we realized it was out). The staff was helpful. The food was overall good.

11/10/2025: An unforgettable evening on October 10th. The pizza was delicious, the company exceptional. We had the privilege of listening to live music featuring tarantellas, tammurriate, and much more. Warmth and sharing. It felt like being in a tavern in Bologna!

08/11/2025: I'm a professional driver and I often go to San Giovanni Rotondo. Since I discovered this place, I've been coming back more often. The quality/price ratio is top notch. Excellent food, rock-bottom prices. Pasquale, the owner, is incredibly kind and delightful. I recommend this place to everyone.

11/10/2025: A 5-star quick meal. While looking for a quick bite, I found Pranzi Express, which was truly delicious, from the first course to the second course, etc. I had Emilian wheels, parmigiana, pork loin with arugula and parmesan, and potato gatoo' for the modest price of 18 euros, nice large portions. Really good. The price was reasonable for the quality and quantity, even a little low. When I return to San Giovanni Rotondo, it will be one of my stops. Lunch only available for takeout, in convenient containers, with forks and everything you need; just ask.

30/11/2025: We were there last night with friends. The pizza was mediocre, adequate. The dining room was nice but it was impossible to talk because of the echoing voices. The wine list was sparse, and the wine was served warm. But above all, I'd like to point out the bad manners. We know full well that the second sitting is at 10:30, but with arrogance, at 10:10, I'd say they kicked us out. I'm sorry, but these are not good manners, especially since we knew it very well. This isn't what restaurants are all about. Customers should be treated well, even if they pay.

09/11/2025: Excellent pizzeria where you can enjoy unique dishes. The dough is very easy to digest and of excellent quality. Very good.

16/12/2025: A good accommodation in the countryside near Agropoli. The rooms aren't numerous, but they're spacious and beautiful, especially those on the first floor. Breakfast is served in the small lobby, with pastries portioned out in cake boxes, sorted by room number. Breakfast would have been better served in the dining room. The dishes served for dinner were excellent.

15/11/2025: Terrible experience. Poor appetizers, lackluster pizzas, high prices. Rude and hasty staff.

24/09/2025: A bad experience. The food was pre-cooked, reheated several times, and then served. As with the risotto in the photo, it practically fell apart. The two glasses of white wine we ordered were of poor quality and had oxidized, as you can see in the photo, undoubtedly due to improper storage. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. Improve the quality of your products.

21/09/2025: I reply by saying that I go to the fishmonger's regularly and I know very well how much an octopus costs, after the first tentacle they brought me another 2 tentacles, and it doesn't seem to me that the total of three tentacles is worth 20 euros, so it doesn't seem to me that you work honestly, in fact, moreover the rudeness of the owner is unacceptable, she turned her back on me and walked away... answering me rudely... I think that a customer who requests or complains about something should be satisfied in some way or at least reassured.

06/05/2025: Si mangia bene pur senza eccessi che comunque non troverete in nessuna trattoria della zona. Ottime le orecchiette e il vino della casa, la grigliata un po' meno. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci tornerei anche perché in zona non c'è di meglio.

25/09/2025: Meat and fish Compared to the crowded, commercial restaurants in San Giovanni Rotondo near the sanctuary, you can eat here in peace and quiet, and well. We're about ten kilometers, maybe less, from the sanctuary. Ample parking. There are outdoor tables. Quick service. I highly recommend it compared to the crowds near the sanctuary.

14/07/2025: This is our second stay here in two and a half years. This hotel has its own charm, the pool is just amazing. And the rooms are adequate. Dora is so kind🥰 every morning she takes the time to prepare a delicious (savory) breakfast for us, and the rooms are always cleaned while we're away. The only downside, when you're unfamiliar with the city, is that they don't serve lunch or dinner (at least during our stay). Be aware that the hotel hosts events on Friday and Saturday evenings, so you have to be prepared before choosing it as your place of stay. And thank you also to Antonio (the owner) for the welcome.
